hold on i will go pull the papers and look and see exactly

Themis is right re. no GPS. The chip only works if the animal ends up in the hands of a person (vet, shelter, etc.) who has a scanner, can obtain the chip number, and contact the company that manufactures for owner information. It doesn't track the animal.

Florida's Orange County Code of Ordinances also does not contain an express prohibition for assemblies in front of a private residence. Here's the link. http://www.municode.com/resources/gateway.asp?pid=10182&sid=9
Look to Part II, Chapter 21, Article IV, Public Assembly Ordinance.

Sec. 21-73. Restricted and prohibited public assemblies.
(a) No person shall stage, promote, conduct, engage in, participate in, aid, form, advertise or start any public assembly in or on any public property that is not in or on a public right-of-way or public park, except in an area as may be designated by the county administrator and under conditions which ensure that the manner in which the public assembly is conducted will not be incompatible with the principal purpose and use of the public property.
(b) Notwithstanding anything in this article which may appear to the contrary, no public assembly shall be permitted at any non-traditional public forum, including the county corrections facility.
(Ord. No. 2004, § 2, 5-18-04)

Sec. 21-74. Exceptions.
This article shall not apply to, nor shall a permit be required for, any of the following activities:
(a) A public assembly organized by county or any department or division thereof.
(b) An authorized or official event, meeting, or activity of the county or any department or division thereof.
(c) An assembly, event, meeting or activity held solely, entirely, and exclusively on private property.
(d) A public assembly in or on the portion of a public right-of-way used for pedestrian traffic that is attended all times, is calculated to be attended at all times, or is reasonably expected to be attended at all times, by less than one hundred (100) people.
(e) A public assembly in a public park that is attended at all times, is calculated to be attended at all times, or is reasonably expected to be attended at all times, by less than seven hundred (700) people.
(Ord. No. 2004, § 2, 5-18-04)
Perhaps you are right, i guess it would come down to the dependance on whether or not the city laws apply to them. I have no clue about FL from experience as I am in WA but I do fall under a larger city but live in a smaller one just outside. We have a county sherriff but permits ect. are still done through the larger city as well as having that other city as our address. I haven't broken any lawas to know which apply.

I did, but chalked it up to one of So Many odd things in this case. :waitasec:

I will patiently wait to see if and when new charges are brought on Casey. AND patiently waiting for November.

Anything in-between, my thoughts and prayers are on hoping Caylee is found.

Correct. That's why when you get a chipped puppy, you still have to fill out the paperwork and register with the company that keeps the records for that chip.

I cannot believe the unmitigated gall of Cindy Anthony expecting an APOLOGY from the Sheriff!
I think Cindy owes the entire country an apology! For us having to listen to her irrational explanations, hindering the authorities from finding her granddaughter and generall behaving as if we are all fools who cant think.
Cindy, your granddaughter is dead, DNA tests dont lie. Your daughter is responsible for no one finding Caylee, she holds the key to Caylee's resting place. You cant expect LE to apologize for the TRUTH. Get over it, and yourself and face the truth.
I'm sorry, but this family infuriates me. I feel as if I am reliving the Peterson (Jackie and Lee). I cant believe the capacity of hate I have for people I have never met. And I apologize to my fellow posters for spewing forth, I had to get it out....
And of course this is all JUST MY OPINION.

There is a GPS for dogs, however it is external and expensive. It is used mostly when training hunting dogs. Since it is easily removed it would not be much good if a dog was stolen.

My dog has a chip and there is NO GPS in it. I would love to see any maufacturer put one it though, as it would really help families when their dogs take a run of the neighborhood.

24PETWATCH in the event that your registered pet goes missing-one call to 24pet watch may be all thats needed to bring them safely home."

24PetWatch maintains a database linking registered pets and pet to their unique identifaction codes."

IMO they have enough to charge her with murder, her demeanor and actions in the month after Caylee "disappeared" along with dna evidence proving she covered it up will convict her. since LE thinks its a strong possibility it was an accident they need her to give the location of her body to get a possible cause of death (which I know would be hard at this point) but it would be more about excluding causes of death (like blunt force or other obvious causes) and this would get her a lesser charge if she would just cooperate. if she doesnt , le will be forced to charge her with more serious crime. so, if she doesn't give up the info, I would say it is obvious that casey knows there would be evidence of her death that would not help Casey's defense. They could possibly still get testing done for drugs depending on what casey wrapped her up in or what environment she has been in.

I'm glad you said the "H" word. I have been feeling this also lately.
I can't feel anything except that and an overwhelming amount of sadness
for that sweet little girl. Lucky for Casey there are more forgiving people in the world. I'm not one of them.

Casey's bond was posted on the newer charges. She is now being held on the original charges as the Bondsman, Al Estes, has gone off of her bond.

She will remain in jail on the neglect charges, ect until and if someone reposts this bond.

Devorahhh

Gotcha! Thanks! I just keep checking in hopes that they add murder, homicide, negligent homicide, manslaughter, something along those lines.....

I've only heard of testing hair for arsenic.

My friend works in a lab and they do hair test for drugs. They are more expensive than blood or urine test, but can tell the drug history much farther back. I understand that the drugs stay in the hair until it is cut. I could be wrong. Has anyone heard of this?

They are using the handheld scanner over the dog. So the dog is physically at the vet, and the information read is the address of the owner. Hope that helps anyone who is confused.

You know, now that Caylee's death is official, I'm more ticked than before. Somehow, I thought it would make me feel - not better, what's the word - more at peace in knowing?

But now I'm just MAD. Even if it was an accident, and even if she didn't do it, whatever 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and bull story she comes up with this week, she KNEW. The thought of a "mother" putting her dead child in a trunk and getting rid of her like yesterday's trash is just so disrespectful.

Caylee deserved so much more. She was a baby. A human being, just beginning her life, full of personality, a beautiful child. She deserved more.
