The parents appear to want GPS attached to their kids and there was a discussion about how far micro-chipping dogs has evolved. There are now external GPS systems for hunting dogs and apparently Costco has one for a reasonable price. Somebody said one kid had a dental implant. Obviously a topic near and dear to those involved and feeling the pain of missing kid cases.

can they really do that!?!

ya know what i am wondering? do you recall the many times Baez has said that his client has a "compelling reason " as to why she didn't report her missing, etc? wonder if he is still planning on using that "compelling reason" in his "opening arguments" as he previously stated.

Why, it's partly a discussion on children as well. It's an insight into how to protect your child or FIND THEM!

Implants would be helpful in certain types of missing kid's cases, but unless mandatory probably not in murder cases.

My horrible suspicions are (at this point) that Caylee was placed in a dumpster. The odds of locating any body parts would be slim to none, and even if something were found, after all this time, determining a cause of death almost impossible.
IF this is the case, and no body is recovered, will the DA take their best shot at a murder/manslaughter conviction for Casey IF their only evidence is what we currently know about?
Hopefully they have more than we are privey to, I'm just asking.

This is what I keep worrying about, because I tend to think very long term. I get so sick of watching the crime shows on tv and seeing murderers get manslaughter. Hopefully there is quite a bit of evidence to prevent something happening to another child someday should Casey get out someday and have more children. She'll be even smarter and streetwise after a stretch in prison.

Where is Caylee -

I've always believed that if you were going to commit a crime such as killing someone and then hiding them, you would hide them in a place that is familiar to you, where you could go back and check on the body from time to time to make sure it's still hidden (that is if you don't get caught and are not in jail). You would also pick a place where, at the time of disposing the body, you would know for sure that you wouldn't be seen while disposing the body.

If we could "think like Casey" (oooogggghhh that thought makes me shiver), then maybe we can try and figure out where Caylee is.

I am so with you Vicki! I truly believe that if she gets out soon , or heaven forbid, off...she will kill again.

She is so cold that God forbid she gets a light sentence, she will sing and skip her way out of jail and figure she is untouchable.

your right but if a child was kidnapped and murdered it would help locate the body, i feel that it would help find alot of missing kids and then that would free up alot of time for LE to focus on the kids that are missing that dont have one.

Consider that Casey is a sociopath who thinks she's smarter than everyone else. Also recall that one of her favorite TV shows is CSI. How would those two things affect where she might dispose of a body?

Have we had any results from forensics on the shovel?

I think the poor turnout for the search is horrible at least TES is staying untill they find Caylee.

you obviously did not read the whole post that i posted i also posted a link that u could go to to find your dog with this chip

I read, was trying to explain in very simple terms to those that were confused, because there is a GPS that you can get for dogs. And wrote "Hope that helps anyone who is confused." so you would know it wasn't a direct reply to you. I did quote you so others could go look at your link. So sorry if my post upset you, was just trying to be helpful.

FYI. Actually I have my dog's chip registered with my local SPCA, who in turn uses a national database.
