Could they be wrong? I'm not familiar with forensics and such, but this is a bold statement to say she is dead! I'm so crying right now. I had so much hope.

Oh Katie, Caylee is so lucky to have soft-hearted People like you to love her. whether she's here or not...this little girl feels the love, I'm sure. :blowkiss:
It's hard, in Life, to feel and care about others, but in the end, SO worth it!

Consider that Casey is a sociopath who thinks she's smarter than everyone else. Also recall that one of her favorite TV shows is CSI.

Me, too. Also I consume true crime nonfiction & websites about missing & murdered people. I think the difference between us and Casey is sociopathy, not taste in programs!

Also troll through Interpol and other countries' websites for missing people. Are we all related???

Maybe TES gathered so few searchers because people are busy preparing for the hurricane? Is it due to hit in that area?

There are no preparations under way in FLorida for the hurricane. If anything, in Orlando, they are getting rain.

I am on the west cost hanging out there by the Gulf of Mexico where the hurricane will go through. We too will be getting lots of rain and high winds, but no hurricane warnings or watches (so far).

CSI is on of my favorites as well. Considering that it appears as though she believes that she is superior to anyone else, and that she "was" a CSI fan...I say she used the gas for something other than to put in her car. Unless she's got a vat of acid hidden somewhere, burning is the only other way..IMO
I don't think she could quite figure out what to do with that poor child's body at first, thus Caylee stayed in the trunk. Then she wanted that gas badly enough to break into the shed to get it. Why didn't she just fill the car up right there in the garage? Or write a bad check to get gas instead of breaking into the shed? She didn't need to take the gas cans with her.

She may have attempted to burn the body - but gas alone isn't going to generate enough heat to get the job done.

782.04 Murder-
1)(a) The unlawful killing of a human being:

1. When perpetrated from a premeditated design to effect the death of the person killed or any human being;

2. When committed by a person engaged in the perpetration of, or in the attempt to perpetrate, any:

h. Aggravated child abuse,

is murder in the first degree and constitutes a capital felony, punishable as provided in s. 775.082(b)

In all cases under this section, the procedure set forth in s. 921.141 shall be followed in order to determine sentence of death or life imprisonment.

) The unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated by any act imminently dangerous to another and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, is murder in the second degree and constitutes a felony of the first degree, punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life or as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

Third degree would not seem to apply but is defined on the link- 3rd degree is without intent but engaged in a felony other than those listed, aggravated child abuse is listed and would seem to exclude third degree in this case.

782.07 Manslaughter; aggravated manslaughter of an elderly person or disabled adult; aggravated manslaughter of a child; aggravated manslaughter of an officer, a firefighter, an emergency medical technician, or a paramedic.--

(3) A person who causes the death of any person under the age of 18 by culpable negligence under s. 827.03(3) commits aggravated manslaughter of a child, a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

782.07 Manslaughter; aggravated manslaughter of an elderly person or disabled adult; aggravated manslaughter of a child; aggravated manslaughter of an officer, a firefighter, an emergency medical technician, or a paramedic.

Excellence award again for ImpatientRedHead!:clap::clap::clap::clap:

It's sad what some parents will do to their children. :(
I watch all the same shows. Just think about all the missing people who could be found if something is found to help find a missing person. They have the ground sonar stuff now and probably will have more in the next 10 years.

The only person who owes Cindy anything is her daughter! JMO

CSI and CSI Miami are my favorites too. I was ill one day(flu) and took to the couch potato position and lucky me it was a marathon of CSI that day, helped me get through feeling miserable.

Could the reason for the lower turnout for TES be that many people don't want to search for a dead child? I think it would be very disturbing to find evidence of a murdered child thrown away somewhere...also, maybe people became angry at the lack of information from the entire Anthony family.

I'm happy that LE is able to guide TES to areas they feel pertain to the case. I was worried that TES would only have the bogus vague "information" the Anthony's spew out.

Off topic, but my guilty-pleasure show is Unsolved Mysteries! I cried when Robert Stack died! I watched that one religiously the entire time it was on.

I agree with you but if I was down there I would help, just knowing if it were my own I would want closure either way.

I just want to say I am very happy to see more attention focusing on finding little Caylee. I'm as angry as anyone at Casey don't even get me started. DH thinks I've lost my mind. I think people have just had enough of this nonsense and want that baby found NOW. Stupid "mom". Thank you to all of you who are assisting in the search in any way. You are angels.:blowkiss:

Note to self, never anger the OCSD! I mean imagine how mad they are at the whole family.
