OT...sort of...I have personal knowledge of this sort of thing. I have a step-daughter, 19, and Husband whose relationship was alot like Casey and Cindy, imo. When we first got together, it was almost unbearable, I almost left. It has taken 4 years, and I'm a counselor, to break through! He would never believe she did anything wrong, unless he saw it with his own eyes, literally! And it was bad, theft of money, items, lying...she, too, I believe is a pathological liar. BUT...he sees it now. He realized that he was doing her no favors, by buying into the bull, it only re-enforced the behavior, that was the angle I pursued. Hey, it was working for her! It isn't now, thank God! Not to say, she doesn't still lie, she does. But it's alot easier for me, when I know he's not being bamboozled, and there are consequences, there is then hope.

From one counselor to another, I'm sorry that you had to experience these problems. Living with someone like Casey can be next to unbearable as you are aware of and I'm relieved that your dh finally saw the light. I also wonder if Casey is keeping the truth hidden because she fears the loss of control that she now has over Cindy and George? I'm pretty sure that their feelings would change toward her if she were to admit to them that Caylee is dead and she purposely hid it all from them. In MHO anyway.

Remember everyone - LE confirming this evidence is new to us - but it may not be new to GP - which explains why their behavior hasn't changed. (It should have changed a long time ago)

Yes, control...it's always an issue. One other word comes to mind, too...shame. Core shame. Just so happy it's not me!

I am wondering something....Will the phone conversations between Casey and whoever she speaks to, be released now that it is quite obvious that she is involved in the death of Caylee and it is completely clear that there is/was no nanny?

Personally. forever, if need be. THis is almost the same as what I do every day anyway. Usually I try not to get involved in current cases, but it's still basically the same.
