I am really confused now. Was the body in the boot of the car someone besides Caylee? How many corpses are involved in this case?

Ok...this made me laugh. So now it's time to call it a night. You all are great!

Sweet dreams, dear Caylee.

If they go back there, I certainly hope they'll take a good look at that hibiscus.

Exactly my thought! "She's close." I'd start looking about 6 feet under that newly replanted hibiscus or under the pool area. Gardeners generally replant hibiscus during February or March, not during their high bloom season in July. Like Saddam's spidey hole -- down and then lateral.

I think you would have heard from the GPs if it was for the Grand Jury. I don't think CA would be able to keep quiet about that.

:)

You have great point about CA not being able to keep quiet!!! Sure do agree with that part.

yes, yes, yes!

It really sounds so stupid to me that somebody would bury a body in their backyard, but I know people do it, I just cannot see them doing it. I mean isn't that the place most LE look for missing people first? Kinda dumb if ya ask me.

Me personally, my opinion of the grands are not the best, but since Ms. Casey has her hiney back behind bars, I no longer feel the rage, anger, and disgust I was feeling for them when she was out on bond. So, maybe I can go back to feeling compassion for them, we shall see.

"Sunday, Sgt. John Allen with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed what Channel 9 has been reporting since Wednesday. There was a dead body in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car, and that body was Caylee." [Emphasis added.] (wftv.com, 8-31-08 updated 9-1-08.) http://www.wftv.com/news/17340180/detail.html

Hi All, I've been reading for several days. I understand everyone's frustration and anger with Casey....but some of the things being said about the GP's is unbelievable! Cindy and George are damned if they do and damned if they don't....whether it be with their reactions to the media, to the allegations, to their daughter, etc. Everyone wants to find blame in them....when the real blame should be on Casey. Are people expecting them to come out and say 'yes my daughter is a murderer', 'yes, Caylee is dead even though we can't find her', 'yes, mediapeople, everything you've said is true'. Come on people, give them a break! Do they act appropriate, maybe not, but where's the handbook on how to act when your daughter is accused of murder and your grandbaby is missing? Are they angry with the media? Wouldn't you be when they are camped out day and night in front of your home just for a story? Do you really think they believe everything Casey has told them...obviously not, Cindy did call the police and have her daughter arrested! And why do people want to blame the parents for their adult childs actions? For all any of us knows, Casey could have been raised by the 'best parents' book and still turned out the way she did. People say how controlling Cindy is...well maybe she needed to be with Casey? Children don't come with a handbook, and every child is different, and no matter how hard you try, they sometimes still don't turn out to be the adults that you've tried to groom them to be. And as far as Cindy and George's outbursts and such.....well, how can anyone possibly expect perfection from these people who are experiencing the greatest pain of their lives. I, personally, would rather be dead than to have to suffer the living hell they are suffering. And for those poking fun at them, shame on you. There is abolutely nothing funny about this case, or what those people are living with. Rather than poking fun or criticizing their every action and every word, we should be thankful and grateful that it's not any of us going thru it.

Good first post......I too have mentioned that these parents also raised Lee,
and *so far* he seems pretty normal..

One. Caylee's. The concept of another body came from Cindy's trying to raise reasonable doubt and claimed that someone put a body in the trunk (and then removed it again) while the car was at the tow yard.

Umm, no, I think it was said by LE today that it was Caylee in the trunk of the car, but some wish to not believe them. I do understand why, but I don't understand how.

Not sure what some will need to have proof other than body. If a body is never found, some will never believe it, and even then some will believe Casey was framed, she was railroaded, she was bullied by the cops, anything, rather than putting the blame where it belongs on Ms. Casey.

Themis, I thought the article you linked closed any question of whether Caylee is alive or not. Has there been a retraction of the statement since that article was posted this afternoon?

I only ask because I see where someone said it had only been in the last 30 minutes that something had been said and I'm not sure what they are talking about.

Unreasonable doubt?

Thanks Themis.

It's happening because a lot of people haven't gotten the memo. It's only been in the last 30 min. that a news website published the current info from LE.

Here's the last 30 min statement, but I don't see a source or link cited.

This came out tonight and has started some conversation.

This has been discussed before - although it is supposed to be procedure, airports almost NEVER EVER ask. I have been flying with all 3 of my kids for 5 years, as lap children and with them having their own paid seat - NEVER once been asked for proof of ID or custody for them.

Private jet would also be an option, especially a corporate one.
