I'm not getting that this family outside the A's has a missing child from either news link, but they did bring up race as an issue and I have to agree with them on that. Good possibility that a black 22 year mother of missing child who'd been lying to the police and obstructing their search efforts by her lack of co-operation wouldn't have had the Padilla's riding to her rescue to get her out of $500K bond. Now take those kids home, get a babysitter and go help TES!

No doubt of it. Good point!

I'm so sick o all the lies - Casey needs to come clean!

She has more will power than I do because I would be all over Casey like flies on honey.

I would welcome her home from jail with a hug, give her time for a nice hot shower and feed her favorite meal. (She is the daughter afterall) Then I would start in with "where the heck is my granddaughter?" and I would not stop until I had some answers. jmo

You're a better woman that I am. I would've skipped the hot meal and shower part, said "Welcome home Sweetheart" on the doorstep in front of the media.

When that door closed, I would've said, "Sit down, don't move, and you ain't gettin' Jack Squat will you stop the crap and tell me the truth."

No brownies, no internet, no hair dryers. Hardball all the way. Shoot, when my daughter was 14 and was getting extremely rebellious and disrespectful, I woke her up one day and informed her that she was now, for all intents and purposes, Amish. I removed every electrical items from her possession, put a timer on the hot water in her shower, took out all the lightbulbs from her room lights, and said, "When you respect me, I'll respect you. Till then, you get nothing but three meals and a cot."

It only last about three days, and it worked wonders. She survived, and now knows that frills in life are a privilege to be earned, not a right owed to her.

WOW - that one kid - the older boy - did you just see his sign:

Cindy - you're a (can't make this one out)

George - you're a croward (? - that's what I think it said - was hard to read)

Casey - you're a baby killer. WOW

And KIDS are holding these- WOW

This truly disturbs me.

I love it I wish I could do that with my grandaughter with the Diva Attitude..Hmmm...got me thinking..:woohoo:

Cindy's out! Woman needs to stay inside and stay quiet. She'a talker. It's plain hiring a spokesperson for this one was a waste, huge friggin' waste. But her talkin' right now is now helping anyone, least of all Caylee.

Your point is well stated. However, they didn't hire Larry Garrison, they "named" him, which means he isn't getting paid and isn't required to be Orlando. In fact, every time I've seen him since the first day he was named has been via satellite in California. He's a token spokesman, nothing more. The grandmother seems to have appointed herself the spokesman to the degree that she appears with Casey's attorney on a regular basis. She has no desire to have anyone speak for her, and will speak consistently to her own deteriment. This is the reason that the public, at least the local Orlando residency, has no patience with her. She doesn't act like the grandmother of a missing child, and instead appears to be combative, argumentative, demeaning and closed about making statements about her daughter's situation instead. That's why there are protesters: right or wrong, people care, but they have such negative impressions of the grandmother by what she's said and hasn't done, that searching for Caylee seems pointless by her own example.

Not that I agree with it - but I can understand why it's happening.

Most go thru it as teens, I know I did. But luckily we had parents that didn't take our crap and feed into our bull.

Exactly! Does anyone believe that Cindy did not ask Casey this question when she was bonded out?

I believe it. I don't think she would have wanted to hear the truth.

I would have done the same. I don't even think I would have wanted her back at my house. I would cut her off at the knees & threaten to stop paying for her legal defense.

I don't know but all I've heard from Cindy is:
"She's telling us to the best of her ability'.
"She can't tell us, she doesn't know'.
"I believe Casey'.
"Lying isn't a crime"

I think she already knew the answer by then so didn't bother asking. IMOO

She wouldn't have to if she already knows.

I don't get LE flip flopping yesterday. If they have found Caylee's hair and it showed she was deceased, why come out and say they are not sure after saying that? Maybe they think she was resurrrected and we have reason for a new Easter?? So bizarre

DREAMFEATHER you are exactly the type parents I was. We even removed the bedroom door when it had been slammed one too many times. My four adult childen never had so much as a speeding ticket, helped work to pay for their college and are all not productive professionals and good parents. We have a close and loving relationship today. They laugh about it now.

When I heard Cindy call her Sweetheart that coddling tone at the jail I knew the lay of the land in that family.

There is NO WAY a grandmother would have gone that long without seeing or talking to her grandbaby. NOWAY. Not one who made her HOME with the grandparents.

And just because Casey gave birth to Caylee Cindy knew Casey was not responsible. I do not believe that Cindy 'let' Caylee go off for 'bonding' with Casey. She either was so busy with her own life she allowed it for personal reasons, or she let Casey walk all over her and take Caylee away for spite and stood there at the door saying "sweeeethert.....?"

NOWAY would she have gone that long without speaking to Caylee if she had been with a totally rersponsible person. Not in the real world.

There is nothing I would not do for my adult children. But NOT over the well being of my grandchildren. And I am willing to bet most every grandparent on this board feells the same way.
