Hey! (my first post)

Anyone have any thoughts on Baez's press release today? (I posted a link in the media thread just now)

http://www.prnewschannel.com/absolutenm/templates/?a=794&z=4

Attacking LE really makes me ill.

IMO, LE did the right thing, in letting the public know. They said they would release info if it helped the case to find Caylee. They need searchers, turnout has been low. If Folks are believing Cindy and George, and all the stories, that she may be alive and in PR, New York, North Carolina...they are less likely to volunteer to search. Searchers ARE needed.

And #2...People have grown to love this Child. The public has become emotionally invested, the games need to stop, I, personally, have had enough of the Anthony/Baez merry-go-round of dysfunction. Give me facts, my head is spinning and I want OFF this ride.

I have to tell you that with all the PR people involved in this it is amazing to me that anyone I mention this case to has no idea what I'm talking about......
and I have heard other people on this board say that. What gives ?

I think that we and the Anthony's and Baez think that this case is much more widely known that it actually is.

Lack of high quality journalistic integrity -- a reporter who INVESTIGATES and get it right and accurate before reporting half baked summaries of interviews and quotes. It wasn't like that in the 1950s and 1960s. The reporters have to produce so much volume of media to the public now that they don't take the time and effort to get it perfectly right. I don't think they are even taught to do that anymore and I don't think their employers expect it. The employers just want copious volume of copy.

I guess we will all know by November if she is with child.

No, no, someone posted it as a possible defense strategy, not as fact. I cannot remember how the strategy went because I did not understand it.

I know I am wrong with my thinking, but I have to voice it anyway……

For those who believe that Caylee is not dead, in my eyes are sullying the memory of that precious baby.

Her mother has NOT in any way, shape or form shown us one ounce of love for this child and to say she is alive, (in my eyes) is supporting Casey. Searching for reasons on Casey's actions when all I have seen is evidence of one of the coldest humans I have ever had the displeasure of having to see and read about.

This innocent baby deserves to be found and brought home, even though her own family has done NOTHING to help make this happen.

The mere fact that LE is helping TES in the search for Caylee speaks volumes…….actions will always speak louder than words.

As always…..JMO

I have been and still do pray every day for a LIVE Caylee.

I could agree if only one news outlet was reporting the info. jmo
They copy off each other so actually it is only one news outlet.

I've been searching for the appropriate place to pose this question but haven't located one. Here's my question: what set Casey off enough to possibly kill her child? What prevented her from doing something earlier in Caylee's short life? Was this the first time she was left with Caylee for a week?

WOW is all I have to say for the George and Cindy. What compassion they showed the family banging at their door screaming. They could have had them arrested. I WOULD have. I commend them and have the highest compassion for them already victimized by the media (and if it turns out their daughter) to do their best to ignore and not press charges. They have earned a lot of respect from me. Ironically, those people are still protesting.

Why does it matter where the body farm is?

Just curious -- for those of you who believe that JB really believes in CA innocence and that Caylee is not dead, why do you think he pursued the limited immunity deal in the first place (remember, per the 400 pages he initiated that -- and LE is not making that up, it was in emails) -- when the limited immunity deal was/is about just that -- her showing them where the body is and them not being able to use what she says to them in telling them where the body is and helping them locate it. He cannot force CA to take the deal. Nor can is he supposed to lie about anything he knows for a fact (for example, if she told him she killed Caylee (which I somewhat doubt, but you never know) -- he can't say she is innocent had no part in it, can only call things in question, raise theories, etc. From what I recall, I don't think he has said Casey is innocent -- only that there are compelling reasons for everything she has done.

But again -- why did he seek out the possibility of limited immunity? Even if he can't make her take it, why did he want that on the table for her if there wasn't even the possibility that she would be able to show them where she is?

Looks like JB has hired publicity people..
and will have his own experts review the results!

I hope he has beaucoup bucks. Experts are not cheap and Baez will get nada for defending Casey (at least no $$$). Better get her out on bail and on the street to earn some money pdq. What does he need experts for at this point? To prove Casey is not a liar? That she did NOT leave her child on an apartment landing? That she did NOT forget checks? He needs to address the current charges as nothing else has been leveled against her.

Maybe, but it has been in People magazine at least twice, once on the cover. Larry King has covered it. Both are very mainstream and popular.

my uncle lives in orlando, (he's older) and when I asked him about the case he said that EVERYONE there was so sick of hearing about it they couldn't bear it any longer.

I was not responding to Not_my_kids post, it was to a different part of the conversation.

Yes, I agree, even my friends, they just hear bits and pieces, snips here and there, shamefull to say but to them they just go on, just like I would be doing I don't know why I came to care about this little girl so much, but for most, it is a 5 second news bit and it is over.
