Whoa! People sure are emotionally invested! Wow...this is not good for society, it seems this case is an avenue, an outlet, for everyones frustrations and personal issues, resulting in over-the-top reactions, boundaries be damned. Wow...that Family needs to take a deep breath and go to the beach!

I know...I watched the video too...way too much drama! Yes, I too think Casey is guilty of many things and yes I think Cindy is so not your typical grandmother with a missing grandchild...but this woman went way too far adn I commend george and cindy for not aving her arrested!

The woman was very upset. There is a video of her talking to the news reporters. She kept saying "would someone bond me out?" Not sure what her intention was but if I'm correct, someone said this is the family that has a missing child.

Well she got her 30 minutes of fame.

And if in that 5 minutes you found a blank, devoid of emotion human being, that provided no answers. What then?
Since I am nearly 70 I think I would step on her toes first, pull her hair second, grab her hand and bend her fingers tell she cries for help for herself. Don't think she can take that much pain for herself! JMO

Did everyone see the interview with the protestor? It had me in tears.

I only watched the web cam and feel the family wanted their moment of fame. That is all they wanted.

Compasion Fatigue she needs to talk to someone.

We don't know the facts 1. is she mentally ill ? 2. Did she suffer a trama they left her like this ?

I want to know the facts before I would want to beat someone up.

I had to take a break last night before the top of my head exploded. I don't have the heart to go back and look at what happened with the protest, etc....just tell me one thing, please. In light of the new DNA info released by LE yesterday, are the A's still insisting that Caylee isn't...ummm.....you know.........?

Haven't finished catching up from switching laundry, but if what you stated is true....that you are accusing the LE of bluffing concerning the life of a 2year old girl?

You are quoting a REPORTER, not LE. LE has consistently said the Body Farm in TN The reporter is NOT quoting LE as there would be quotation marks around the statement.

And lets see, who could we get the "facts" from, better than Kc if she would tell the truth?

Seems like the 1000 protesters decided to stay home though. To bad they didn't volunteer to join TES instead.

Gaia, I am not quoting a reporter, I am asking the question to a poster who said that LE would say that Caylee is dead for a BLUFF!

ETA: it was my response to not my kids

She never lied?!

*June 9th. We know for a fact Caylee was with Cindy on June 15th. First one.

We have a whole thread to point out all of her "inconsistencies". It was pointed out by Corp. Yuri Melich on the witness stand under Oath in front of the Judge that on the night before the first bond hearing that they had to "confront" Cindy with the video tape information which proved she was with Caylee a week after she said she went missing. Also, Cindy's reply to a request for her father's name to check the sign in sheet was one of defiance. She stated she would no longer cooperate if they talked to her father. (Now we know why! RE: Money Casey had allegedly stolen from the account meant for his care at the nursing center.) This could indicate she lied on purpose.

I could go on and on about what has been brought out during this case about things Cindy has said. I don't see how it can be in question when Melich caught her in a lie and it is part of the record of the case.
Sorry IMO lying and getting dates confused is different.

She never lied? Have you read the 400 pages? She admitted to lying on a number of things she told investigators!

Could you point me to that? I would not mind whatsoever eating any part of my statement.

Maybe killing her kid left her traumatized?

Well if she points to the body and the death was an accident she's facing less charges than if there is no body and they go after her for Murder, right?
Right. Premeditated is the death penalty. Accidental death could be anything from Criminal Neglect to Manslaugher 2. So basically, she's looking at a life or death situation for herself.

Fellow WS's
I work with a young lady that just got her masters degree in Forensics. In June she had to take some time off from work to finish up some things to get her degree, one of which was going to the ME office. I vaguely remember her saying something about a body farm, but I am not 100% sure. Soooooooooo, when I return to work tomorrow, I will ask her. So we can know once and for all if there is a body farm here in Orlando.
I can say though, that all the news reports

I have read, the samples were sent to the one in Tennessee.

Devorahhh.....the headquarter's of the Body Farm is in Tennessee at the University of Tennessee.
Here is their web site.....they are famous! Check out this website, a fabulous read. These guy's are scientists, and very professional.

Yes, the samples were definitely sent to Tenn. and I don't see why we are even discussing the central Fl. Body Farm or if it exists. It is not applicable to this case that I am aware of.

  • #539
Because it was reported that the test results came from the Cetral Florida Body Farm and we are trying te determine whether that is accurate, and if the Florida Body Farm is even up and running yet.

If you want to be specific the names of both labs are:

University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Facility

C. A. Pound Human Identification Laboratory

Neither are technically the "Body Farm"

Now can we get past this?

NO, they do have a Body Farm in Orlando to answer your question.
