Caylee Anthony General Discussion Thread #79

I wasn't talking about her not wanting to get on the ohone during the 3rd call - I was talking about when Cindy began rolling that set of dice by making the first call to LE. I'm sure by the time the 3rd call came around, Casey wasn't too happy with her mother...
night

IMO there isn't any dire consequence that would get Casey to cooperate. Even LE couldn't get the truth from this girl.

That was my point - why did George call Lee? Was Cindy THAT upset about the car being towed? I highly doubt it. At that point, Casey had not confessed the fake kidnapping story to Lee yet. So, she didn't even know that Caylee was missing yet. I think they got the car and it stunk and they both KNEW what it smelled like.
If you remember in the phone call with Lee early on Lee refers to what Casey has been doing to "mom and dad" for the last 4/5 weeks. I think getting the notice was the straw that broke the camel's back...and yes, Cindy was THAT angry.

WADR - Cindy had known for weeks that Casey wasn't letting her see Caylee - I think many WSers believe that was the way Casey clearly (maybe continually???() got under Cindy's skin/controlled the $$$, and f Cindy didn't suspect there was potentially something wrong with Caylee as soon as she smelled death in that car, then how do you explain the fact that it was during the initial call to LE that Cindy began saying she'd given Casey 30 days, etc, presumably speaking about Caylee....Do you really think she bellieved someone else had died in that car?

The 30 days, I took to mean that Cindy had given Casey that long to let her see Caylee. I believe Casey kept Cindy at bay for that long with Cindy calling and asking to see Caylee and getting nothing but excuses.

Remember in the beginning, no one admitted that Casey moved out, then they changed the story that Casey was going to bond with Caylee. But Cindy's myspace blog proved that Casey walked out and took Caylee with her. That was Cindy's punishment from Casey and exactly the attitude that I'd expect out of Casey.

I don't think it hit Cindy that it may have been Caylee's decomp in the car until after Casey said that Caylee had been taken. I think that is what we hear in her voice on the last 911 call.

"There's something wrong. I told you my daughter has been missing and I just found her but I can't find my grand daughter".... something to that affect. Possibly Cindy could have thought Casey was mixed up in something but never suspected it to be foul play with Caylee.

The posters there keep referring to Cindy saying "I am a nurse of decomposition."
but really..what she actually said was:

"I know what a dead body smells like. I know the smell -- I am a NURSE -- of decomposition."

She did NOT say she was a "nurse of decomposition." She said she knows the smell of decomposition, and just awkwardly inserted the justification ("I am a nurse") in the middle of the phrase.

you know what I'm saying??

The car wasn't in (was it Jacksonville?) like Casey had told them. That upset Cindy according to her.

I do think Casey and Cindy were in contact during those 30 days. They are both too emeshed with each other for communication to just drop off completely. Not to mention the police can verify it. I doubt it was daily, exagerrated but not a complete lie? When the notice for the car was received it proved that Casey was lying and wasn't where she was suppose to be, emotions escalate, Cindy finds Amy's info and off she is going. Lees family role seems to be the peacekeeper and negotiator so I could see GP calling him when it is clear there is something big about to go down. In one of the tapes you hear Cindy say to Casey "you clearly weren't where you said you were" or something to that effect while trying to figure out where Caylee is and telling Casey she isn't waiting until tomorrow.

Since Lee had the phoney names of Casey alibi witnesses in her little book, and he called them and instead of Juliette Lewis and the other guy he gets neighbors down the street, I think that is more of Casey's coverup. She actually planned a big coverup with Zanaida, using the neighbors' phone numbers for the work mates that new her daughter was stolen etc. That girl is one sick puppy and I don't understand how her family can't see it. Geraldo's brother said the family does know she is lying to them and to LE and thats why they want her out of jail so that they can talk to her in private and get the info out of her (without jeopardizing her defense). If I were them I would just go down to that jail and make her talk and forget about her defense.

1. I don't have 500 posts but I'm refusing to hit the newbie thread.

2. I do think they were in contact.. but probably more through texts and messages....I don't think there was a lot of conversation.

3. I think George called Lee because he thought Lee might have a better idea of what the heck was going on. Remember.. Lee had Tony's number... he said that Caylee would sometimes tell him things.. she wouldn't tell the parents...

OK - I must have missed that, thanks! Where was this reported? I was basing my timeline on another forum (In Session) and I think they are still using July 16.

George picked the car up on July15th, and then Cindy picked Casey up at Tony's apartment. Cindy drove to a local police station with the intention of having Casey arrested, but found the police station closed. She made a call and learned that certain precinct stations close at 5:30pm. The operator asked Cindy's home location and said she was in the jurisdiction of the county sheriff as opposed to the Orlando PD. Cindy then proceeded to drive home, where she made the second and third 911 calls.

From this we know that it was late afternoon/early evening as the local police station was closed. It was about 45 minutes (?) after they got home that the second 911 call was made. While they were waiting for the police to come to arrest Casey for the car theft and credit card theft, is when Casey told Lee that Caylee had been kidnapped, which prompted the third 911 call.

During the interview with Greta, Cindy and George said that there were 5 policemen/detectives and that they were there throughout the night, with the last leaving about 5:30am on July 16th. Later that morning, police picked up Casey and asked her to take them to the babysitter's apartment. After repeatedly being caught in lies, Casey was arrested.

lol, I explained earlier that we don't take that seriously. There is obviously not a real nursing position called that. We refer to that as a joke to refer to her stating that she knows what decomp smells like. Which is the point we are trying to make. She knows what decomp smells like.

Start chanting with me:
DNA! DNA! DNA! DNA! DNA! DNA!

Let's cross our fingers that they release it tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear you! If LE feels that Casey is not going cooperate, they may go ahead and release the results of the forensic lab testing.

Lol, Drip drop. BTW, hello back from earlier.

G'nite. Gotta get some sleep.
Thanks everyone for all the great posts.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring .......something.
