Mitchlite opened my eyes to the emotional badgering that has occurred over the years in this family. It is bizarre to watch and amazing to see how it distorts one's own logic.

George seems like he is having trouble containing the logic, and it seems to be taking over. Cindy still has emotion/guilt firmly in control and will be in denial until...well I really don;t know !

If her assumtions about this family are correct, you mean?

  • #262
Exactly! They are hoping they will be scared and come forward. Sad really.

Yea - because you notice how in the same piece on CNN 360, George says it could be possible that it is someone Casey owns money to...or perhaps someone who did something that Casey witnessed, etc. So there he doesn't seem to have any idea who it is. But then now he is saying they do know and are watching them. Give me a break!

Oh wait - I think what they mean is they know who knows where Caylee is and they are watching this person. Yea - it's Casey!

Okay - I am now convinced the surveillance is a bluff by the GP's.

Maybe the surveillance is going to lead George to the 'kidnappers' wherein he will drive behind them w/ the billboard until eventually they break down and surrender. :bang:

I would love to believe Caylee is out there somewhere and that the Anthony's have somehow pieced the mystery together and are watching the kidnappers but....how can anyone explain the decomp smell etc in the truck of Casey's car, someone died and the only one who is missing is Caylee.

Those scenarios could be plausible- she stole money from her parents and her "friends" so who knows what she got herself into and if she was so attached to Caylee, then they could be using her as collateral until they get their money, word, etc? Maybe if she witnessed something, she figures she is safer in jail?

If Casey's cell phone was cut off on July 8th because of non-payment of the $724 bill, what was she using to make calls from the 8th to the 15th?

Think LE has subpoena'ed the phone records for the landlines in both Ricardo's and Tony's apartments, as well as the cell phone records of anyone who admits to being with her during that time?

Her 'friends' must be livid.

MArk F. just said that she didn't receive a bill for the time after July 8th because the bill wasn't paid. It didn't say she wasn't using the phone after that date. I think he was saying the billing records after the last statement they received were locked and not available except by subpoena.

it was pizza and cleaning supplies :-)

I was wondering if maybe seeing that there could be something "mentally" wrong with their daughter would help the GP's see that ok Casey has something really wrong with her, not just being a nasty *&^%, and we can start facing reality a little better and not hang on her every coded, lie in a :confused:truth words.

Just based on the behavior of Cindy and George so far, I doubt they'd believe a professional opinion.

I thought I heard him say the phone was cut off for non-payment. When did that happen?

Oh, I agree those are plausible. But why does she still act like she doesn't give a #$%^ about her daughter?

I truly HOPE they have subpoenaed the records . There would be a LOT of information there!

Re: Caylee not mentioning her nanny...my youngest is only a few months younger and he's never talked about who was watching him (a couple family members). He kind of lives in the moment, and only things that really interest him remain on his mind...toys, animals, airplanes, parks, etc. Lol. I don't believe the nanny crap she has tried to feed everyone, but I wouldn't find it unusual for a toddler to talk about what he/she did and not the sitter.

Yes - it was cut off. But I guess I assumed it was cut off after July 15th. How would she have used the phone otherwise? LE has said they have looked at those records...but the Anthony's don't have them. Perhaps that is what LE was showing them at these meetings at the sheriff's office.

That doesn't make sense because I've had phones with several different carriers and have always been able to access my bill online. Even if she hasn't set up an online view yet they still have her info and should have no problem getting it off the net.

Maybe in some sick twisted way a) she gave Caylee to someone to protect her (who knows!) and b) maybe the person that she owes a debt to had someone take caylee (i.e. mother, grandmother, etc) where she doesnt feel she needs to worry about her?

People deal with things in all different ways... granted I would be a lunatic I'm sure if this were ever god forbid me, but all angles should hopefully be explored

Respectfully, I disagree with that, if you listen closely to the 911 tape, Cindy is yelling to someone (presumably George) that Zanny took Caylee..
I was floored by the "familiararity" with which she said that name, so much so that I initially thought it possible.. Listen again, whoever she is yelling to she must have thought they knew the name as well.

I do not believe Caylee ever had a "zanny" but I believe there is a reason they knew that name, whether they were writing out checks to her because Casey was telling them she needed the "sitter" money, Casey stole checks made out to her and that's how it was explained, etc..

Or she was looking at apartments to move out with a fake ID and possibly had an excuse as to why mail might come to that house in that something..

I agree and during the 911 calls Cindy was truthful, we all agree on that! She was still wanting Casey arrested when she used Zanny's name in the background!

My bad..got the two mixed up again.

But seriously like another poster said, Cadaver dogs don't hit on pizza. And I doubt the hit on Arm & Hammer Detergent either, and I will go out on a limb and say, most likely they know the difference between human decomp and squirrel.

I cant access a detailed view of my bill until my bill posts- like I can see how many minutes I've used and text messages I've used but I can't view my call details or text details

The video that Greta had on her show of the Grandparents talking to various media after they left the sheriff's office this morning made me feel that perhaps LE had finally laid the law down to the GP's about possible obstruction charges.

Cindy certainly seemed to be avoiding answering direct questions about Zenaida all of a sudden. I could have sworn I heard her say the other day that she was willing to take a polygraph to prove that she had heard of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez for a year and a half before Caylee disappeared.

Casey had an At&T account and she would not have been able to purchase a phone from the AT&T store if her account was past due unless she was willing to pay full price for it and that is certainly not the cheapest place to do that at. The last time I was in an AT&T store the cost of a BlackJack was around $400 full price from them. I also do not think that AT&T allows you to put the cost of a new phone on your bill anymore.

I am beginning to think that the "lost" BlackJack is just one more part of the fantasy story Casey has told. I don't believe that she had a new BlackJack IMO. Lee is also not making sense about the supposed phone calls made on July 15th either. The other day he was claiming that there were some unidentified calls around noon on Casey's cell phone that were interesting but tonight we hear that they can't get the records for after July 8th because the bill had not been paid.

All the contradictions in the case coming out of the mouth of George, Cindy and Lee are making me crazy. Where is the "banging head against wall" smilie when I need it????

Maybe that is why she got the second phone, because the one paid for my mom and dad was cut off. Then she took the sim card out of the one that was shut off and put it in the new one.
