This case is starting to get a little "Twin Peaks" all the crazyness, with the theories of erotic businesses, dead body besides the obvious in the car, cover ups, lies, backwards coded speech, I keep waiting for agent Cooper to show up!

I really don't think there is that much "mystery" involved in Casey, just a party girl too selfish and jealous of her daughter that lost it, covered it up, and mentally split herself from the whole thing and life went on.

"How did the person who had Caylee get your mother's phone number?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked.

"She was programmed into my daughter's phone," Cindy said.

Huh? But Casey had her phone! So how would the person look up the programmed number and call if they don't physically have the phone? Or is that supposed to mean the missing BlackJack is with the missing babysitter? Geez.

yeap! that's what she is saying.:furious:

is it just me or does it seem like a power struggle with the family- cindy cancels visit with casey, casey cancels visit with Lee, Casey cancels visit with parents, Lee cancels visit with Casey and on and on....

My head spins with this case.

yes. i agree
it is a power struggle to some degree

quite sickening and unhealthy

here is the thing,

lets say the mother knows something about her daughter beng alive

hey i have an idea - STOP TORTURING THE GRANDPARENTS and give them something to let them sleep for 5 minutes

give them something that isnt a LIE so the GP can have some peace
for the night

Caylee's the pawn in this- she is the one that everyone wants and Casey feels she has power if she gave this little girl to someone else.

I have a friend whose biological mother literally would pop out kid after kid and just leave them with people... totally abandon them. It is possible .

My understanding concerning the phone is that not even the family can now view the bills....LE has them with a search warrant and the family cannot access them.

Also, if you have an overdue bill, then the wireless company can shut down your phone. You would not be able to remove your chip and use it....that chip is essentially your phone. The bill travels with that chip so Casey would not be able to take the chip our of one phone and place it in another if the wireless company has disabled it due to non-payment.

Good point.

I'm now officially confused by the phone. Are the call records after July 8th unavailable to the Anthony family because only the owner (ie, Casey) can request them between billing periods?

Clearly the records have been obtained, if calls made on the 15th were known to LE.

Unless someone paid the bill?

My understanding, from what MF said, was that because the bill wasn't paid, they weren't entitled to receive the last detailed billing. The account was closed. He said the only way to get the records when that happens is by subpoena - which LE had and exercised. So that is why they have it and the Anthony's don't. I am just quoting MF! I don't know if that is how it works or not. I don't understand why you are entitled to the final detail bill - but that is what MF said.

I agree. Forget all that other far out crap. This is a simple rage killing or neglect killing. No whacked out theories. Some people are as far out as Casey is with the stuff they invent!

Someone mentioned Gone, Baby, Gone to me tonight and that a lot of what has been said by the players in this case fits into the script. I haven't seen it but just wanted to see what others thought

saw it. in that movie the lead investigator kidnapped the little girl...made it appear like the drug addict mom had had her kidnapped and murdered when she did stole money from her supplier. that would be quite a stretch

1.accidental injury resulting in death ??

nawwwwww you call 911 and get help immediately and hope and pray for the the best recovery hoepfully

2. kidnapped ??

nawwwwwwww we have debunked that all the way around the moon
128 times at least. kidnapper AKA baby sitter doesnt exist

3. 3 year run away ??

nawwwwwwwwwww not hardly

4. sold the child ?? possible i guess

5. killed because of rage moment and cover up needed to be into place
and thats why keeping the TRAIL cold as ice for 30 days.
hit in the head or killed becuase casey could go out clubbing or something along those lines. tired of being a mother at an early age - wanted freedom

sounds like a phoney ramsom note situation to me with the NON EXISTANT babysitter

number 5 takes it

Can someone help out my memory? Tonight on Greta, did they not say that they could find no phone calls to the Grandma's phone, such as the calls she supposedly received? Sorry, but this case is so darn confusing.....

Info on great grandmother also receiving a call from Caylee is found at http://www.wftv.com/news/17161366/detail.html

as posted earlier by Adrienne37 at http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2485920#post2485920

IOW -- there are two missing phone calls, not just one.
That must be a typo, no? What's the significance of great-grandma talking to Caylee on the phone on June 15th? She was about to see her at the nursing home. That call could have been made by Cindy on the Anthony's house phone confirming arrangements for the visit, and she put Caylee on to talk to Gi-Gi.

The part about kidnappers knowing great-grandma's phone number because it was programmed into a phone they didn't have is just more ridiculousness.

Did the kidnappers rack up that ginormous bill? Who else did they call?

There is a twist in that moive that I won't ruin for you in case you want to see it but it is similar in that one of the working theories in the movie is that a woman's daughter was taken b/c of her involvement w/ a drug ring and not living up to the expectations of those running the drug operation. Perhaps Casey was influenced by this in coming up w/ her kidnapper story.

She told Lee it was the same phone number - another lie?

Maybe she knew this and will say AT&T's records are wrong. That their system is broke ala Mark Hacking...

  • #318
I truly HOPE they have subpoenaed the records . There would be a LOT of information there!

I'm sure LE has subpoenaed the phone records. They said that the phone call Casey received on July 15th, in which she said she spoke to Caylee (a private number) didn't happen. So, they are going through all the cell phone calls.

Casey's last phone bill was $724.00 and they can't get the records for it from July 8th forward. Per Mark Fuhrman.

LE can get the records by search warrant, but the family cannot.

I am stunned by the lies of the grandmother. First she says that her grandaughter had spoken of the nanny, then today she says there was
no reason for her to talk to or about the nanny.........that caylee always spoke about the nannys puppy.

What is going on with them?

They're nuts.

Next Cindy is going to say the tooth fairy received a fricken call.

LOL.

Whoa. Somehow she doesn't seem articulate enough to run up this kind of bill.

Seriously, how could anyone afford a phone bill like this???? Even if you're a no- good low down dirty thief - that's still a mighty high phone bill.

I have a friend who has a daughter this age, and the daughter does not shut up. She has the phone glued to her ear at all times. They were surprised with a bill like this one month, and moved to another service where they can control the usage.

What seems so strange, is who really was taking care of Caylee? I don't believe this "nanny" exists, but somebody had to have been babysitting Caylee or did Casey just start the partying recently? There seems to be a years gap between the time Holly last took care of her and now.

My opinion is she was left with anyone who would take her. The daughter I talk about above thinks nothing of leaving her kid with whoever and wanders off. It's atrocious. My poor kid was always glued to my side.
