cohersion? accomplice? obstruction of justice?

Is there actually solid, concrete, evidence of this??

ETA: Because if not, accusing someone of a crime in writing is considered libel and slander... I'm not sticking up for the family, I'm just saying be careful what you write if there's no evidence to warrant any types of charges.

" It sounds like Casey has been watching way too many TV crime shows or else she is hallucinating." (Taken from comments at link below)

http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/11/suspicions-and-secrets-who-has-caylee/#more-5136
I asked George what the motive might be and if his daughter owed anyone money that may have contributed to Caylee’s disappearance. He told me, “possibility. It’s a possibility. I don’t know. Maybe she saw something somebody did and my granddaughter happened to be there, I wish there were other scenarios but I can’t be specific.”

Here’s the problem. They believe Casey, Caylee’s mom, knows who has Caylee but doesn’t know where she is. Since she’s being held on $500,000 bond she can’t get out and look for her. George also says since the meetings with his daughter in jail aren’t private, she can’t tell them what they need to know to find her. Plus, those jailhouse visits are recorded. They have no doubt she knows more than she has let on but can’t give away the details because it would put Caylee in jeopardy. Cindy told me Casey would never harm Caylee. She said, “Anyone who knows Casey knows she’d do anything including sit in a jail cell to protect her daughter.”

Remember when Casey told LE that she didn't call them because she'd seen on tv/movies that when someone is kidnapped and LE gets involved the person gets hurt? Do any of you suppose, given her statement to LE and her tale of kidnapping to her family and everyone else that Casey watched a movie about kidnapping and then planned this?

Edited to add: I've been thinking the kidnapping was just a tale she pulled out of her @@s but that statement to LE has me wondering.

What crimes are you thinking of Blink?

I have posted on that previously, and got bombarded with PM's as to my resources, so let me just say in general terms I do not think the Feds are involved in her case just on the issues related to Caylee.
There are alot of crimes you can commit in the ID, forgery, theft areas that are covered under state statutes.. Add a postage stamp to any of the above, and it is a Federal Matter, period.
That being said, I see that issue more to keep any possible associates (witnesses )quiet lest their own consequences, and frankly if your looking at a homicide charge who really cares about the other.. No reason to bring jurisdiction issues into the mix, etc..
JMHO

Wait. How can they arrest Lee if they have no evidence against him!? Unless I've missed something, which is quite possible...

You can't just go around arresting people for the sake of arresting them...

Thank you Dee. This is still America. Maybe they can hold any of them as a material witness -- but I don't see any evidence of crimes by anybody other than Casey at this point. And can you imagine the PR nightmare LE would have if they arrested family members on tenuous charges? The critics who are saying that LE should be doing more to find Caylee will jump on this and LE will be seen as taking themselves away from the important stuff just to attack the family.

What's surprising to me is how the Anthonys have seemingly gone off on thier own investigation.
The sad part though, it's an investigation that isn't based with facts of the case.

Anything dealing with Casey's involvement in this case they are unwilling to admit to -- so
right off the bat they are going to have a flawed investigation.

They might as well be looking for Caylee in Russia if they are unwilling to look at all the
evidence.
right,, its like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Nobody is accusing anyone of anything, speaking only for me, I am very specific to post what is my opinion, which I stand behind.

I don't think that Cindy or George will be arrested any time soon...probably not at all.

It would be a public relations nightmare and a huge distraction for LE to do so. It wouldn't help them find Caylee. It would make this case even more of a three-ring circus than it presently is.

I do think that they know what happened to Caylee. I think they found out on the night of July 15, morning of the 16th. But I don't think that they'll be arrested, because doing so really won't help the case against Casey, and that's what LE is doing right now...building a case against the person who's already in jail.

Leave them out. Let them keep talking. Meanwhile, investigators will continue their work that none of us really knows about. I'm betting that they know MUCH more than they're telling us.

If you missed it you did not click on it your ok- it was an illegal post by a "brand new first time poster" mysterysolver

I didn't click on that link, but I did Google the info in the message. I found the original CL ad and then followed that info which led to a Bebo.com page. The whole thing is very weird and cryptic. I looked at the page the ad refered to but didn't understand what I was looking for or at. In any case, I don't think my computer got infected from the search. If you're intrigued, you could problaby research it safely w/out following the link, the way I did.

I'm curious if anyone else can make something of it. But I'm new here and probably very naive about stuff like this. It seems that the general opinion of this board is that it's meaningless weirdness.

in the bond hearing, Cindy states that both Lee & Casey are a product of Cindy/George.

if you have other info on this, pray tell...
i remember reading somewhere that casey was 3 when george and cindy got together.

I gotta review- I think we are talking about 2 diff links, however, if it is gone, someone removed it

The whole thing does sound like a bad Movie of the Week, doesn't it? Maybe she also thought it would all be resolved in an hour like a CSI episode, hence her willingness to "sacrifice".

My first post, BTW, after untold hours of reading and thinking. Lots of questions spinning through my head, but nothing significant to add right now.

I just wish Casey had inherited Cindy's lioness-like protective tendencies towards her offspring.

I think LE is perfectly happy to have the Anthonys running off at the mouth with their absurd comments.

It keeps the public distracted while they work quietly in the background, gathering the evidence they need to put Casey away for a long, long time.

Marly...If you keep this up...I think you may be closer to a courtroom than Lee. Luckily, misspelling is not a criminal offense.

Hallelujah! The brother canceled his morning visitation!

They both look like George.

I agree. I was questioning another poster who stated that Casey wasn't George's which I don't believe to be true. Poster said Lee was but Casey wasn't and that George didn't come in her life till she was three. I told the poster that Lee was the elder child.

No, I'm a Registered Nurse with a degree in biology. The knowledge I have
of DNA and testing is basic.

I'm trying to get caught up reading the threads so forgive me if this has already been covered, but I'm curious.....if the heat had caused the DNA to degrade would they still be able to tell if it was bodily fluids (blood, urine, vomit etc...) and just not be able to tell who it actually belonged to or would it be impossible to tell what it was at all? Thanks!

  • #359
I hope Casey's starting to feel the heat. :) Maybe she's getting a little lonely.

Why do they keep canceling? When is the last time Casey met with any family members, does anyone know.
