I understood that George was also Casey's stepfather. Maybe he looks like her because Cindy is attracted to men that look alike.

I have been following this since the beginning, I have missed some ( many) pages as its hard to keep up. I still have nothing to back up arresting GP's or Lee, I don't think they did what they should have from the beginning but that doesnt make them guilty IMO. I also don't believe a word coming from Casey. The excuse of saying that she won't tell the parents because its not private doesnt wash with me, she could tell her lawyer and he could tell the parents which would be private. I think she is saying nothing and praying they don't find Caylee IMO. with that said I do hope that she is found alive and safe but it's not looking good. IMO the person who would have Caylee could drop her off at a hospital/church or something and make a run for it and at this point, she would have been seen somewhere since she is all over the media. Again this is IMO with nothing new to offer.

The whole thing does sound like a bad Movie of the Week, doesn't it? Maybe she also thought it would all be resolved in an hour like a CSI episode, hence her willingness to "sacrifice".

My first post, BTW, after untold hours of reading and thinking. Lots of questions spinning through my head, but nothing significant to add right now.

I just wish Casey had inherited Cindy's lioness-like protective tendencies towards her offspring.

Glad you've joined us. Don't look now but I'm sure some producer/writer somewhere has their eye on this case to turn it into a movie.

I get the feeling she thought she could throw out the scenario and LE would go their way and leave her alone. She thinks she's a good enough actress to fool everyone but in reality she's not and LE isn't fooled.

I don't think that Cindy or George will be arrested any time soon...probably not at all.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cindy arrested at some point down the line if it turns out her testimony at the bond hearing ('we communicated by phone or text all but one or two days') is proven to have been perjury.

I don't think LE is concentrating on the family at the moment, but I don't think they're going to just forget anything that can be charged later.

I asked George what the motive might be and if his daughter owed anyone money that may have contributed to Caylee’s disappearance. He told me, “possibility. It’s a possibility. I don’t know. Maybe she saw something somebody did and my granddaughter happened to be there, I wish there were other scenarios but I can’t be specific.”

Here’s the problem. They believe Casey, Caylee’s mom, knows who has Caylee but doesn’t know where she is. Since she’s being held on $500,000 bond she can’t get out and look for her. George also says since the meetings with his daughter in jail aren’t private, she can’t tell them what they need to know to find her. Plus, those jailhouse visits are recorded. They have no doubt she knows more than she has let on but can’t give away the details because it would put Caylee in jeopardy. Cindy told me Casey would never harm Caylee. She said, “Anyone who knows Casey knows she’d do anything including sit in a jail cell to protect her daughter.”


Remember when Casey told LE that she didn't call them because she'd seen on tv/movies that when someone is kidnapped and LE gets involved the person gets hurt? Do any of you suppose, given her statement to LE and her tale of kidnapping to her family and everyone else that Casey watched a movie about kidnapping and then planned this?

Edited to add: I've been thinking the kidnapping was just a tale she pulled out of her @@s but that statement to LE has me wondering.

The proble with all of this is that she could speak through her attorney and she is apparently not doing this. Also, we have the evidence of the car smell, the shovel and the gas and all the lies....does not add up.
I'm thinking Casey is acting like a spoiled 8 year old that does not want to get caught for her negligence of her child in order to avoid punishment and is grasping at straws to blame someone else. Caylee drowned or died some other way accidentally due to her negligence. she though of telling her parents initially but then decided to just wait and come up with something else....time went by and the lie got bigger and bigger

Why do they keep canceling? When is the last time Casey met with any family members, does anyone know.

I haven't heard reason for todays cancellation! I'm just thrilled that her bond wasn't reduced (again!!!!) and that her brother cancelled his visitation. Casey must be starting to think she's never going to get out.

I didn't click on that link, but I did Google the info in the message. I found the original CL ad and then followed that info which led to a Bebo.com page. The whole thing is very weird and cryptic. I looked at the page the ad refered to but didn't understand what I was looking for or at. In any case, I don't think my computer got infected from the search. If you're intrigued, you could problaby research it safely w/out following the link, the way I did.

I'm curious if anyone else can make something of it. But I'm new here and probably very naive about stuff like this. It seems that the general opinion of this board is that it's meaningless weirdness.

I researched this way back when the same way you did and never clicked on the link. IMO, it is meaningless weirdness as well. There was also a new post yesterday that poster had never made before.....Can we all say...Tin Foil Hat?

That's what I remember reading too. They moved from Ohio when she was 3.

Agreed, I think you saw the hint of that and that was way the phone records got leaked, Miss.. "lying is not a crime.." is not considering that it us under oath, imo..

ETA: Because if not, accusing someone of a crime in writing is considered libel and slander... I'm not sticking up for the family, I'm just saying be careful what you write if there's no evidence to warrant any types of charges.

in this case there is little concrete of anything. time is of essence there is a missing child.casey is very close to lee and early on casey and lee spoke in some sort of code.so if anyone in the family were to be arrested i think the one who knows the inside story is lee. this is my oppinion. im just sleuthing to my best ability. i want to see little caylee home where she is safe. and WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET HER HOME im ok with that. please understand where i am coming from.

I X'd out the names for privacy purposes since we don't know if these people have any involvement or not.... IDK if it's okay to post their names or not so better safe than sorry, IMHO.

Exactly. Casey was three when the Anthony's moved to Florida. Another incorrect post that will live on and on and on. lol.

I agree with you, she could do the above. However, my thoughts were along other lines.

Casey saw a movie about kidnapping (according to her statement to LE.)
Either she pulled the kidnapping story out of thin air, her @@s or whatever to explain away why Caylee was missing, or... (and I hate to think it, but it's possible) did she plan to kill and use kidnapping all along as her excuse.
