Caylee Anthony General Discussion Thread #84

:waitasec:I guess it all depends upon what one's definitions of "logical" and "normal" are... it's all so relative to one's own experiences...and we know that during times of grief these folks are having a really really really hard time...:waitasec: ...so maybe they think the level of fighting they engaged in, whatever that actually happened to be, is normal...?

I never said normal, a change in the family dynamic would be logical to give 2 very different and acceptable views from Cindy. She understood and was ok with Casey and Caylee being out of the house. Yet in hindsight the picture she and George paint nothing was out of their "normal" on June 15th and 16th all the way to them not packing up and leaving. Yet at some point after the 16th and before July 3rd, the truth of that family dynamic change was documented by Cindy.

Hey I was thinking about Juliette Lewis and then I realized my grandmothers maiden name was Louis..pronounced the same. Thought it could be possible casey's juliette was an aquaintance and she just assumed the spelling. I found one on myspace in Florida..didn't check for possible caysee connections but here is the link.. FOR THE RECORD, I'M NOT SAYING THIS PERSON HAS ANY CONNECTION TO THE CASE. OOPS HERE IS THE LINK http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=21198077

The video shown last night on Greta when Cindy and George are walking to their car. (at least I think it was last night I was falling asleep) did anybody look at Georges face? It looked as if he were going to break into sobs at any moment. I believe its the one where they (George and Cindy) are leaving LE station . This is what causes me to believe they are just throwing a story out there.

It's so sad!

See I don't know about this one because my three year old does talk about things we did in the day time, but I can also coach him to events that didn't happen. Like if I say oh we saw the big tractor today, do you want to go see another one tomorrow? He will agree even if we never saw one. IDK if that makes sense but my point is, kids are very impressionable in this time and they think you are the one who brings the sun out in the morning so pretty much anything you tell your kids they will go with

<laughs> I've experienced what you're saying, for certain, but I've never attempted to tell my daughter something DIDN'T happen when it did, nor will I ever...so I'm not suer how well the reverse would go over...

Wonderful and caring people

I guess that post needs to go under Cindy's inconsistancies...although I wonder why no one has footage of Smith leaving the Anthony's house..I mean they are there 24/7 it seems.

I'll believe Amy when she goes to the police and files charges against Casey for theft and forgery of her checks. Until then, Amy is just another b.s'er in the crowd, imo.

This was a long time ago, seems this case has been going on forever.
IIRC, Any did file a report, and the bank reimbursed her for the check/s loss.
Around $700, they will go after Casey.
The cash I believe she said she would eat because Caylee was missing, and Casey had enough trouble. Casey got her for $1000.
IMO

Did it ever occur to you that maybe she wants to do that but LE is saying wait.

I haven't sat down and watched the Father's Day video from start to finish, but I recall others saying it did not appear Caley was able to speak very well. I don't think Casey could have gotten away with her imaginary job very long with a chatty 3 y/o around, I wonder if she discouraged Caley from talking.

I was just replying to another WSer about this...I have a 2 and almost 1/2 yo daughter and I've never tried to get her to disbelieve something she did see or hear...so I have no idea...

I still believe that Cindy and Casey had a rip roaring fight that day and Casey took Caylee and left. This is probably something that Casey did occasionally for a few days so Cindy didn't worry about it...I think they had a very volitile relationship. I can tell by the tone in Casey's voice when she talked to her on the phone, sometimes snotty and sometimes very deliberately dismissive.

I don't believe Casey planned to move away from the coccoon for very long...why would she? She had it made there. Something happened after Father's Day, no doubt in my mind, between the 2 of them. Maybe just something like "why couldn't you go with us to visit your grandfather for once??? Believe me, I got sucked into many of those types of arguments with my mother.

Did Casey take alot of Caylee's clothes with her when she left? We haven't heard much about her clothing, toys, etc. Did Cindy bring all that stuff back from Tony's?

The only LIE Cindy and George really defend and hold on to passed all others is the LIE that keeps Caylee alive and with the kidnappers and that Casey is a good mom.

They backed off the gas cans, backed off the partying. But anything to do with contact to the nanny or that one exists they have to defend or they give up hope.

Anything that comes up about the job, or money or any of the many many things that Casey has done they always say that will be dealt with after Caylee is found, not that Casey didn't do it. The question is not just how long Casey can hold on to this LIE because IMO that is forever. The question becomes how long can the Anthony's.

Do you think it's likely that the Anthony family has been advised by LE not to do anything that could jeopardize Casey telling them additional information?

Just gave my little boy some coaching about zanieda and going to her house to play with the puppy, he asked me what color is the puppy, then i asked if zanieda was his friend and he said yes and that he wanted to go see her puppy. Just an example, I agree all children are different.

..why?

I don't understand either, but it may be as simple as Cindy and George refusing to accept that a search for a body is needed. They could be in deep denial. TES is an incredible organization, and they could be a real help in this case.
And they're so supportive of the family. It may just be what the dr. ordered.

I think they realize the things they have been saying has made it so Casey wont see or speak with them so now they are backstepping and making it seem they are on her side again.

If anyone can find this little girl, they can.
I once went on a search and these people are compassionate and professional.

I wonder if they have been called?

I could be wrong but I think Tricia & maybe Blink offered to "hook" them up but either the family didn't respond or wasn't interested. Maybe Tricia could post and let me know if I am correct.....

edited to say: I wonder if law enforcement can call them in or if it is strictly the family?

I also think there are many similarities with the Trenton Duckett case. One thing that is odd: with Melinda Ducketts, her cell phone records were out in days, and I remember specifically on NG they had a map pinpointed where her cell phone had "pinged." Does anyone else remember this?
I'm wondering why we haven't seen anything like this with Casey yet. Surely LE has this information, why hasn't it been released?

I'd hazard to guess that LE isn't finished analyzing it so they're not ready to release it ...

Casey has been advised by Jose not to give anymore information and not to talk to her family. http://www.wftv.com/video/17167874/index.html

Cindy and George at this point could come out and say that they believed Casey did something and it wouldn't affect Jose, LE or the case unless they had been withholding, concealing or covering up her involvement.

I do believe Cindy and George have cooperated with LE to the best of their ability without giving up the hope that Caylee is alive and with a kidnapper.

IMO if LE believed there was a kidnapper Cindy and George would not be on national news shows. If LE believed Cindy and George could get Casey to talk and Jose would allow it, this case would get real quiet real fast.

yeah, it's not unusual for a 3 year old to live/play in an imaginary world, with imaginery friends, is it?
