Caylee Anthony General Discussion Thread #84

According to Fox news the community is getting fed up with the Anthony family and all of their ever changing stories.

Interesting. Was this something stated in print or on cable? Do you have more info? BTW, nice to see you here again.

Oh, I understand its just viewing all possible angles.

I just think if it WAS the father, then why keep her for 58 days and not say a word. I tend to think that eventually they'd come forward with their reasoning.

I agree. Why get in more trouble than it's worth, right?

I hope that when and IF this case ever ends, and it's learned these self proclaimed psychics are NOT what they appear to be, people will realize this is hockus pokus and should not be inserted into missing person's cases.

It's disruptive to the investigation and also the mental well being of the victim's family. False hopes, false leads.

What these people put the family through is very sad, imo. :(

In the very beginning I was willing to consider the possibility that Casey had handed off Caylee to the biological father's (whether he is dead or alive or she even knows who he is) parents b/c she didn't want the burden of caring for Caylee and wanted to punish the GPs. IMO there has been too much information brought forward that allows me to believe little Caylee is still alive. I did find a weird connect the other day as to how she might have come up with the ZFG name (all three names) in connection with someone in her past, but didn't bother to bring it up b/c I still do not believe that person necessarily exists and certainly not that she has ever taken care of Caylee or has her now. I honest believe the little Angel is gone. :(

Something else - If I'm not mistaken, I think I read somewhere that one of Casey's friends lives in the Oveido area. Could there be a connection there from GPs latest theory?

It was in reference to Amy, she actually pre-forwarded her mail there and apparently then "lost the house" according to the myspace post.

Personally, I think this is about what I referenced earlier about "once you put a stamp on something" it becomes federal.. There are odd forwarding practices of some involved in this case, IMO>>

LE's been pretty tight lipped the last week or so.

Actually he gave the interview last (thursday?) regarding Casey is telling the truth the best she can and he still believes she's telling the truth, yadda, yadda, yadda. Not his exact words. I'll have to see if I can find the link to the video.

It was also said on Fox that some people at the shopping center were not saying nice things were there is a booth set up.

Casey and Amy were to move in together in the "Oveido house". Then came the Amy charge that Casey stole money and checks.

don't we all wish? But then what happened in the car? we know it was not pizza and cleaning supplies...unfoturnately this is another dilusional story that casey has come up with to distract, confuse and give her family more false hope :-(

Hmmmm......seems like George released this latest "dilusional" story, anyway I don't think Caseys been heard from since 8/2.

This will be their next claim. Why would he steal his daughter, a daughter that he has never met? Why would he go through the risk of being caught, when I am sure Casey would have given over Caylee freely, she obviously doesn't care about her daughter.

I looked through almost all of Casey's comments on myspace, from the time she was pregnant until right before all the deleting began and I will tell you most of those comments where friends of hers chastising her and berating her for not hanging out with them after becoming a mother as well as some shock over her pregnancy and some sadness about her not hanging out anymore. I bet this girl was just about done with being a MOMMY and that is the simple explanation on what happened to Caylee. There is no kidnapper or ZG or baby's daddy - there is only a 22 year old mother who was tossed out by her own mother and now had the obligation of caring for her own kid without mommy. She became overwhelmed and indifferent and hurt her child to end the burden.

Grandmother is lying about not fighting with Casey around the time of her disappearance - she wrote about it in her own words on her blog post on July 3rd. Cindy and Casey fought and for the first time Casey was without the support of her mother and she couldn't handle that.

END OF STORY - in my opinion of course and I will be happy to eat crow, but I doubt it.

Do you think the registered letter from the tow company could be involved? Because we've discussed how long it took, the supposed delivery of it returned the first time, etc.

I agree . . . Psychics are a bunch of hogwash that occasionally get lucky. If there was some "higher power" giving them visions -- you would think that "higher power" could send them the exact location.

Why didn't these psychics warn the Anthony's in May that something bad was going to happen to Caylee in June? Well... I think we can pretty much all make a guess on that one.

Why do they need cadaver dogs if they are psychic?

I am standing by the grandparents since the beginning. They are victims. But every day it becomes more and more difficult to attribute their behavior and words on pain, confusion, manipulation inflicted by Casey. It is becoming more and more ridiculous. I still think they are victims but they are not helpless. The only helpless victim here is Caylee. A 3 year old baby.

I don't believe for a minute that THEY believe there is an abduction NOW. Maybe the first days not now. If they really believed that, they would be tearing their clothes and pulling their hair in front of tv reporters blaiming the police that they are not doing what they are supposed to do, that the police is not looking for the baby, that the police is not listening to them. And if the police was actually looking for an abducted child in secrecy and for safety reasons then no normal person would have announced what George announced on tv. It just makes no sense.

I respect their pain, I respect their confusion, I respect everything they are going through, I respect their false hopes, but it is time to pull their act together, ask the help of the police and a therapist and try to find the best way to bring Caylee home.

Fox cable news just did a segment on Caylee about 20 minutes ago and made that statement. They also said the Anthony family is sometimes yelled and/or shouted at when they are in public places. Very inappropriate, but sometimes the public has a mob mentality.

If what George says is true (and I'm not convinced because it doesn't explain the dogs hitting on the decomp smell), he's hinting that these people either live or are staying in the Oveido area. This is the same area I mentioned on a different post a week or so ago. This is where Lake Jessup is (full of alligators). If GP truely believes this, he needs to round up as many of his friends that he can, and have every part of that lake watched. It would be very easy to just drive up to that lake, park the car, and throw a body in. I would hate to think that if someone actually does have her, and they think they are being watched, that they would try to slip away and dump her in that lake.

Using some common sense here, if I was in George's shoes and IF what he is saying is true then the LAST thing I would say to the media is " we are watching who we believe has her, they may not know we are watching but we are".......well guess what, they know now, don't they! Is common sense really at such a premium these days? And the report on the news is a little incredible, the one on Anderson Cooper where they say Casey can't tell her folks where Caylee is because all jail house visits are public info and she can't endanger Caylee like that............o.k., so are visits with her lawyer public info too? I don't think so, (being sarcastic here) her attorney is under legal obligation to keep her confidentiality so do you reckon she could tell him what she can't tell anyone else and he could pass the info along with utmost discretion?? CNN didn't mention that possibility.

Thanks!

Has anyone followed up on the Craiglist link on page 5 of the media links thread?

If so, can someone point me to the thread where there was a discussion about it?

I'm interested in that lead.

As we have all seen, Casey doesn't always do the right thing....

It's been reported that Casey stole from many of her friends. Maybe she stole from the wrong person and that person figured they could use the kid to get their money back???

Who knows? This story keeps getting crazier and crazier!

Would have to be a lot of money because the reward is $200,000!http://www.missingabducted.com/2008/07/caylee-anthon-4.html

The accidental drowning theory doesn't really jive with me, because it could easily have been reported with no jail time. Given that CAsey has no problem lying, she could easily have made up any story about how it happened if there were no witnesses. That's the same problem with any accidental death scenario - Casey could easily make up a story to explain it, and not have gone thru the 31 day charade of hiding Caylee's disappearance from everyone, and now ending up with a felony neglect charge at the very least.

I think something much more sinister happened.

Oh I agree...she planned this. If she she didn't she would have had at least a tad of remorse...there is none.
