We are a naturally suspicious bunch, but I'm not of them. They seem to have done everything they could for both Caylee and her Mom. Why would they ever suspect harm had come to the child? I see their actions appropriate considering the knowledge they had at the time.

Now that the fact Cayle is missing 5 weeks, the police digging the back yard up and the "stench" in Casey's car (which was abandoned)....

the grandparents will soon realize the chances are slim their grand daughter will be returning home.

a portion of a bulletin posted on MySpace today....

Above all we ask for your continued support by focusing on the task at hand, which is finding our precious little girl. The love that this family has for one another has and will never waiver. From Cindy, George, Lee, Casey, Caylee, all of our family, friends, and loved ones we pray that you remain focused and positive.

:( I don't understand how her parents can honestly believe that she didn't do anything wrong with Caylee as more and more things are learned during the investigation.

Fake job, fake babysitter, lies, more lies, and now her car has been found abandoned.

On Greta tonight it was said that Casey left the house on June 9th and went to live with her boyfriend. He stated that she told him the "nanny" had little Caylee. I hope and pray to God that Caylee wasn't left asleep in Casey's car. Maybe by the time Casey woke up and checked the child was dead from heat exhaustion. I pray that is not what happened but with the "stench" in the car it makes you wonder. Surely someone would have heard the child though??? In the parking lot of the apartment, ect.???

the car was first...then lead to them reporting Caylee. So if the car was never found then what?

So.... on Tuesday, Casey's parents get a call from the towing company saying that they've towed a car registered to them - Cindy Anthony could not reach her daughter, but found the address of her boyfriend in the car, and went to that address? Do I have this correct?

That sounds right. The business had the car towed; the towing company contacted Mrs. Anthony; Mrs. Anthony tried to reach Casey and couldn't. She found the address in the car which led her to Casey. The car went to the police (sounds like thanks to Mrs. Anthony).

Not this post but others --As for gators, they're not too much of an issue in the heavily cemented and very busy area of Orlando where the car was found (or where the friends lived). The parents live in a nice area (well, I've not lived there for a few years, but it used to be a very nice area). I don't recall ever hearing of gator problems there either. You tend to need swamps, a lake or a retention pond at the very least to have gators - meaning they're not a problem in many, many, many parts of the state.

As for the heat in the car, during the day it could be deadly and probably the same would go with being in the trunk for too long at night. (As in in the car itself at night, even with the windows up, it would be hot but most likely not deadly to a healthy person)

And the site where they were checking out the car had a door that keeps out prying eyes. Since they were allowing a news team to tape, it would make sense to keep the door open (during the filming). I'm sure there's also a gate around the place to keep people out...

I'm not ready to think the grandparents are involved; not yet anyway and not based on any information that's been released. So far the only thing they seem to be guilty of is loving their daughter and trying to believe she wouldn't harm that baby girl. I do hope they're right... If they're not I think it will totally destroy them...

I think it's because if Casey's mom were to allow herself to think that Casey could be involved, then she realizes it means that Caylee is probably never coming home. Laci Peterson's mom experienced the same thing - she initially could not allow herself to think that Scott could be involved, because to do so would mean Laci was dead.

At some point, Casey's mom is going to be confronted with some piece of information that she will not be able to deny, and she will have to face what is probably an awful reality. My heart goes out to Caylee's grandparents.

This case just wants to make me cry. If only the grandparents had kept little Caylee. I doubt they ever dreamed anything awful would happen. I'm still praying for a mirarcle, but it's not looking promising.

Casey's use of the word "Nanny'. Gives the impression of being important or wealthy. She claimed to work at Universal. Had her own office. Trying to sound like a big-wig?

She sure likes to inflate her image.

I just made Caylee's photo my default MySpace photo with the Caption "Have you seen me? My Name is Caylee"

Can you imagine if the majority of MySpace users would do this for even one day???????

This doesn't look good at all.

I know Suzi that you are right. It just bugs me that it seems as if "criminals" have all the rights these days.

It's infuriating and her parents are paying for it!

Argh, her parents should not have hired an attorney to further the lies, they needed one to get to the truth. I hope they are happy. They keep saying their focus is Caylee, well when is THAT going to happen?

  • #179
They keep making fruitless pleas to the public, but their own daughter holds the key. What is wrong with this picture?

It's obvious to me that there is no covert plans between gparents and LE to get to the truth as some have suggested. Just look at what the attorney they hired is spinning. Absolute rediculousness (is that a word?) is what he's spinning.

(snip)
Baez says that is holding back the investigation.

I think her detention is hampering the search how can the police bounce evidence and leads and leads with her while shes sitting in jail its counter productive, he said.

Baez filed a motion Thursday asking a judge to grant Anthony bond so she can help detectives in the search for her daughter.
