Or maybe Casey doesn't know who the father is. If she was selling herself and not using protection, it could be anyone.

I'm also thinking that one of the reasons the GPs don't want the focus on Casey is because it probably would shine the light on themselves and what they didn't do to protect that child.

I just heard on the news that a boy from, IIRC, Sarasota Fl, has been found after 12 years of being missing.

It was a parental custody issue where the Mom took the boy out of State where they lived under an assumed name. The Dad reported him missing.

Recent age progressions of the boy netted a tip.

Some good news, for a change.

From all that we know about this case, it appears that Casey and Caylee left her parent's home on June 9th and moved in with Casey's boyfriend. Yet, most of Caylee's belongings remain at the home of her grandparent's, George and Cindy Anthony. Casey's boyfriend states that he was told the nanny story too, so evidently he hasn't seen Caylee since Casey and Caylee left the grandparent's home. At the beginning of this case I think he stated that the last time he saw Caylee was June 2nd.

It appears that the decision to leave her parent's home on June 9th was a sudden decision, not one that Casey had planned out. Did Casey argue with her parents and leave in anger? Since no one has verified that Caylee was seen after June 9th, it would appear that something happened to Caylee within the first 24 hours after leaving her grandparent's home.

The grandparents have said that they'd talk to Casey on the phone and ask to speak with Caylee, but were always told that Caylee was with the babysitter. They didn't question that, except perhaps between themselves. Perhaps they felt they were being put off because Casey was angry with them and withholding Caylee from them.

Then the grandparents received a phone call from a towing company that their car, that Casey drove, had been abandoned in a parking lot. Cindy Anthony went to the towing company and found the address of the boyfriend in the car. Did she have an extra set of keys for the car or was it unlocked?

We've heard that there's a terrible stench coming from that abandoned car. Cindy Anthony certainly would have notice the terrible odor in the car as she searched for the boyfriend's address. That odor may have been a compelling factor in confronting Casey about Caylee's whereabouts. Cindy knew something was wrong.

When Casey couldn't produce Caylee, Cindy contacted the police and filed a missing child report, and that brings us to where we are today.

The only part of what's been reported that I can't understand is Casey going to her parent's home when they were away, and borrowing a neighbor's shovel. She returned the shovel in an hour, and that's not enough time to bury a body. What was she doing in her parent's backyard with a shovel when her parents weren't home?

The best possible outcome is for Caylee to be found safe and returned to her grandparent's care, but I don't feel that's going to happen. I think Caylee is deceased, and died shortly after leaving her grandparent's home. I don't think we'll ever hear the truth about what happened from Casey's lips. The truth will be determined by forensics done on the abandoned car or by finding Caylee's body.

This is a very sad case.....................

I've been wondering why she left the parent's house so abruptly as well. IIRC, in the myspace blog Cindy posted on 7/3, she talks about the little girl (well she doesn't say Caylee, but we all assume it is), being taken away by someone and she talks about jealousy. I think it had been proposed earlier that the grandmother was more of a mother figure and telling Casey how to raise Caylee, and maybe Casey started resenting her for it, and took Caylee away. Now my thoughts...while the heat story would be one that would not cause as much pain to Caylee as any other scenerio, if what I just said about why Casey left was true, maybe once they were gone, Caylee was crying uncontrollably or something about leaving her grandparents and Casey just snapped. Of course I pray none of this is true and that they find this little girl.

According to Anywho.com there 13 women in Florida by the babysitters name. Mostly concentrated in the Miami area.

It is said that her mother believes that she was possibly prostituting to get money.

where has this been said?

not doubting it, just havent seen it myself. :)

The "profiler" part of me thinks perhaps Casey was jealous of all the attention Caylee was getting from the grandmother(Caseys) mom.

This is one of the things I picked up from the body language of Casey when she went into court. She was trying to hold back a smile. VERY VERY strange. It appeared as if she was thrilled at the attention.

Does anyone know if Casey is an only child?

According to all of the myspace pages, she has a brother named Lee.

I don't recall anything at all about prostituting herself. But it sure is obvious she needed big money and quickly. That speaks volumes to me.

I have to retract that part. I went back to the news articles that I saw this morning and cannot find it but I did see a story where is said something about the GM said she had a feeling that Casey was going to parks to make money with men and was leaving Caylee in car for periods of time. Cant find it now dang

Maybe she wasn't burying something, but rather digging something up. Perhaps the child was killed at the house, then buried there, she removed the body when the parents weren't home.

WOW - that is something to think about!!!!!

not to mention.....with the obvious landscaping at the family home I am sure they had to have a freaking shovel... why borrow one????!!!!

Casey's mom has said that their yard tools were in a locked shed, that Casey didn't have a key to - so she borrowed the neighbor's shovel.

If Casey has been investigating for herself the past month, where are the results of it? What did she find out? Did she talk to others who knew the babysitter? Does she know where she works? What kind of leads did she get?

Nada. I don't believe her. I think she's well aware of what went on with Melinda Duckett seeing that she is in the same area and probably heard all about it on the news. If LE couldn't figure out where Trenton was in the course of 24 hours, how are they gonna find out Casey's exact movements in a months time span.

I think she wanted to let alot of time go by before mentioning that Caylee was missing. She probably would have never reported a thing if it wasn't for her parents. She would have pulled a "precious doe".

I am so glad that she was arrested and I hope like heck she doesn't get out. She's a proven liar and knows dang well where Caylee is. I don't buy her story that she was afraid to call LE cause of what she's seen in movies. She hasn't even given a motive as to why the "Nanny" who doesn't exist took the girl to begin with. No mention of a letter, no mention of odd phone calls or ransom.

I'm mostly irritated that there is so much more to this story than we're being allowed to know yet.

Casey's friends and boyfriends know plenty about her activities. I'm sure they all hung out together. Does her best friend know of her having a nanny?

It is frustrating because all we're hearing about is how they are digging in the yard or some stench in a car. For all we know, Casey and Caylee could have been living in that car.

We're not hearing about what the friends or boyfriends have told other than she's a habitual liar and stole money?

I just noticed the tag for Caylee's father asking where he was...he died in a car accident...in case someone hadn't mentioned it.

Supposedly....... I don't believe that either.
Who is the father? Where is his family?

good post, but there is a report from a friend of casey's that she went for a walk with casey and caylee on June 12th 13th or 14th, and there has been mention that casey leaving the house was planned, at least for a short time, before she actually left.

and im not trying to be argumentative here, but you certainly could bury an infant's body in an hour, i dont think she did so because it wouldnt have been very deep and they would have discovered it yesterday, but being an avid gardener and home repair buff, i have dug my fair share of holes, and in anything other than very hard soil/clay you can dig a hole deep enough to bury a "small package" very quickly.

again i want to stress - good post and im not trying to pick it apart, just offering my opinion. :)

Does anyone know/recall which friend this was?

Who is the father? Where is his family?

Absolutely.

The news heading would then be: "Couple Finds Out Caylee Anthony Is Their Grand Daughter"

This should be a whole new story in itself if the name of the father was known.

I haven't seen anything from the media about the grandmother saying Casey prostituted.

I posted this morning that my daughter speculated Casey may have done "sexual things" to earn money so Casey's parents wouldn't know she didn't have a job. I also posted that my daughter wondered if maybe Casey didn't leave her daughter in the car while she was "working".

IMO, Casey could have also been selling drugs or shoplifting to have money. We know she got some money by stealing from friends.

IF Casey hadn't had a real job for over a year, I don't think she had had a babysitter for at least as long.

IMO, the babysitter is a lie.

I don't think it is just some strange coincidence that she produced a name and an apartment complex where that same name filled out a card and visited. I'd also thought she had an accomplice that worked or lived in that complex.

I'd be questioning the owners/managers of that complex if anyone recently working there just suddenly quit.

Thank you for posting this, it is probably where I saw it.

Yes, I agree that I dont think she was really the babysitter, but there is something to this name. I dont believe that Zenaida is that common of a name and with the last name Gonzalez, usually people spell it gonzales.
I believe that this person exists and knows something but now Casey is claming up because she has told so many lies to cover up something and she may have actually said the truth about this person having Caylee. When she said that she was investigating it herself that made me think that she was trying to get caylee back before everyone found out and could have been trying to come up with money to get her back or trying to find this person.
