I do! And my SUV is sitting in a closed garage that's probably about 110 degrees. I'll go do it right now. Is plain Domino's cheese pizza ok? One piece?

I think the report said "a piece of old pizza", so one piece would be right. If anything is going to smell bad, it would be the cheese as it spoils.

But with 110° heat, I bet that pizza dries up before it smells bad. You're going to have a piece of petrified pizza. :)

My first post....but, I read them all....a refugee from In Sessions...
I like it here.

I have an old wrecked car and left over super supreme pizza...shall I put it in the trunk?

Welcome to Websleuths ChattyWoman!

Yes.................please do the pizza experiment! :)

What is the temperature where you live? Hot and dry, or hot and humid? I guess I should throw in a third choice..........not hot, but warm. :)

o/t I know, same here...and while I liked In Sessions, it's not nearly as snarky here, and people can agree to disagree...not a lot of fighting:) So I'm staying.

I was thinking that, too..unless it had lots of sausage on it, or unless some sort of insect (maggots, flies, etc...sorry for the image) had gotten to it. But would insects like that be able to survive in the heat of being in the trunk all day?

Obviously, there is a total disconnect between the emotional affect that Casey displayed during the police interviews and the girl seen in the many photos posted here. There are two places that I certainly hope LE has gone for some professional insight and information. The hospital and doctor who treated Casey if she had a recent seizure, along with any medical records if this is an ongoing condition. Also, wherever Casey attended school, there would be a number of staff members who would be able to contribute to long term impressions of Casey and of the family dynamics. Of course, the family would probably have to sign release forms to get any of that information, and that might be a problem.

I'm thinking the seizure was more of an "OD"- HIPA will prevent anyone from getting her records, her parents cant sign anything on her behalf, she's not a minor. Subpoena or voluntary...

Hot and humid here, too! I am very near you, in Biloxi.

I think I am really, really bothered by the fact that this family has not contacted other family members about it...I mean, it seems that if you WANT as much as exposure as possible, you would be recruiting family as reliable people to help pass fliers, talk to press, search for Caylee, etc. I mean, who has a more vested interest in finding her than her own flesh and blood? GM mentioned that they were all very close...I mean, why not have your family out campaigning for help, too? So odd to me.

If the family (Cindy) truly believed she was in another state and you have family traveling, as Cindy said her brother is, to Virgina, Georgia etc. They would be mobile and you could invoke them as well. If her brother was in Virginia in the last 2 days, he could have been in studio with Fox news studios in DC and others. CNN is in Atlanta. But he apparently knew nothing of his great neice being missing at that point.

Exactly. And I hate to be judgemental, or pick at someone in this situation, but I felt a bit irritated that she mentioned in the interview that "apparently word isn't getting getting out fast enough if her own brothers just found out from the media" (paraphrased that). I mean, doesn't SHE have some responsibility to raise awareness in her own family, and not chastise the media? Maybe I took that whole thing wrong. It's possible I just misunderstood her.

Also, I feel a little irritated that she seems to want to release NO information about Casey when so many signs are pointing to her. I mean, I think it's natural that the public would want one of the most obvious suspects cleared, or at least TRYING to be cleared...I think everyone needs answers from Casey before money/man hours are spent blindly searching...

not that searching for the little girl would EVER be a waste of money or man hours, but my point is, I think answers from Casey are a big deal, and GM seems to keep brushing it off.

BUT, on the flip side of that, I do kind of see GM's point, because in the situation of the missing Marine Maria Lauterbach, didn't the mom get a LOT of flack for coming forward and saying that ML had a history of mental illness/lying? So maybe if GM TRULY believes/hopes her daughter is innocent, she is trying not incriminate her daughter in that way.

I've got to admit, the whole thing is confusing, and I don't want to prejudicate, but the mom seems to be alienating the very people she is asking for help. But I cant imagine what I would do in her shoes...

I just watched the grandparents video,.. and WTF?!!!!!! She just went on and on and hardly anything was of importance. She was going from one thing to another like she was trying to keep herself talking. I mean it could be because she is tired and stressed and she just rambles when she is in that condition. I just don't think so though. I think she knows way more than she is letting on! JMO

Also,.. WHY ISN'T THERE A REWARD????? That is the first thing you do in a missing persons' case! Even if you don't have money,... usually the community will have a fundraiser or something of that sort.

Another thing,... the first thing I would do would be to call my family. You can't say that you can't call people because of the media or they don't have time. It makes NO sense!

I just feel this isn't going to turn out good and that more people know what happened than they are letting on!

I have requested to be friends with Jesse on his myspace. His profile pic looks a bit different than the one of him with the other dude in the vests, AND from what I can see on the tiny picture, Caylee bears great resemblance to him. I hope to find more pics of him. I noticed that Casey has bright blue eyes, while Caylee's are brown. Aren't brown eyes dominant? Doesn't surprise me that Jesse's eyes appear dark in the pic I posted.

Yes, I think Jesse may very well be her father. Things make more sense that way, especially if Cindy is so controlling and wanting Caylee for herself, they would keep quiet about it for sake of Cindy dragging him through the court system.

It is also possible that Casey staged the phone call in front of her mom just before she confessed to her that Caylee was missing. She is a pathological liar, they do things like that. I've seen it happen. She could have done that if Cindy was putting the heat on her about Caylee's whereabouts.

They did not inform extended family because they wanted to delay their statements to the press about both her and Casey, and Casey's dramas thoughout the years. I hope they speak up loudly- I want people to know how preventable this is. I hate to sound bitter, but I am- I cant help but think all this hush hush, lie telling and covering up has gone on for years and now an innocent baby may have paid for it with her life-
Wake the F up lady, tell the truth, bring this sweet child home, do the RIGHT thing..

I think LE is giving this entire family enough rope as to why they are allowing them to speak to media. Who needs a shovel when g'ma is digging a hole as deep as she is?

OT, I watched "Cleaner" last night. Interesting movie!

O/T Did you ever see "The Professional." It was Natalie Portman's first movie I think; it is also known as Leon and Cleaner...It is incredible.

I wonder if LE will ask Jesse to volunteer a DNA sample that could be compared with Caylee's (ie, from a hairbrush or toothbrush).

It would be interesting to see grandma's response ("I saw his obituary but I can't remember what his last name was") if it turns out Jesse is the baby's dad.

Fortunately, grandma's ability to control the situation is slipping fast as more and more people start speaking to the media.
