You mean that child wasn't seen in May. I hadn't heard anything about May.

Originally the gparents said Casey and Caylee moved out in May. Then they returned on June 8th. On June 9th the Gpa saw both of them briefly. That's also the same day Casey moved in with the BF, ex BF or Amy on June 9th sans Caylee. The affidavit says Amy.

ETA: The affidavit says her when it should have stated him. It was Anthony that Casey's moved in with on June 9th.

Earlier, someone pasted a comment, I believe, where Jesse was with Casey when Caylee was only 3 months old. It just strikes me odd that he is still in the picture if there wasn't an emotional/parental bond to this child.

No way am I buying the "father killed in a crash" cop-out. That is way too convenient. If that's the case, I've said it a few times already, then the paternal g'parents would be all up in this family's business.

Cindy doesn't acknowledge Caylee's father or last name because she is selfish and wanted Caylee all to herself, my opinion in why she and Casey didn't get along.

thank goodness, someone else feels this way....i got that vibe from her from the very beginning...control-freak'ish almost; can't put my finger on it..

I thought Caylee was spotted at a shopping mall on June 12th by someone in the family- do I need to take a break or did anyone else?

Yeah I read it too..it's on this timeline from Florida Channel 13...

June 9: Casey Anthony said that on June 9, she dropped Caylee off at a babysitter who lived at the Sawgrass Apartments. She said the babysitter's name was Zenaida Gonzalez.

June 12: Caylee was spotted by friends of the Anthony family in a shopping area near the Orange-Seminole county lines. She was wearing a pink and blue outfit and white-rimmed sunglasses.

June 9 - July 12: Casey Anthony tells her parents that she had been going to work every day and that Caylee had been staying with friends or nannies.

July 12: After they had not seen Caylee for some time, the girl's grandparents got concerned and confronted Casey, convincing her to go to the sheriff's office.

July 16: Police talk to Zenaida Gonzalez who says she does not know Casey Anthony. Police also take Casey to Universal Studios where she said she worked. After leading them to a building, she admitted she was no longer employed there.

July 16: Casey Anthony is arrested.

July 17: Casey Anthony is officially charged with child neglect, lying to investigators and interfering with a criminal investigation. The judge denies bond because she showed a "woeful disregard for the welfare of her child."

Thanks, Suzi. Doesn't that seem odd that she had a car to use, yet she borrowed her friend's car? I wonder what story she gave Amy as to why she needed to borrow her car.

See? This soo gets me pist. There is too much we aren't being told and I want to be in the middle of this investigation.

And according to Amy, Casey stole 700.00 from her so she could have gassed that car up and didn't.

I thought one of the interviews I saw with the g'ma, she said when asking to see Caylee, that Casey kept making excuses and she had no reason to doubt her. I think I assumed after she was moved out that she told her mother she was going to Tampa for a job, then a mini-vacation and taking Caylee with her.

Didn't grandma deny to Geraldo that Casey had moved out, but instead was on some kind of vacation (from the job she didn't have)?

Damn, I wish I'd tivo'd that last night.

yes, i heard the same thing, Diane.....

LE says they have not been able to confirm any sighting of Caylee after June 9th.

I'm no super-sleuth but I'm trying to be helpful when I can.

I keep thinking Casey had the intention of letting someone else use her mother's car to take Caylee somewhere. Which might explain whey she needed a 2nd car? I can't yet figure why the car was abandoned, with the baby seat in it.

Grandma's car was towed away to a wrecking company on June 30th. Maybe Caylee was surprised to find it gone one day and scrambled to borrow her friend Amy's car so she'd have wheels.

How weird is it that Casey never told her parents that their car was missing/stolen/mysteriously disappeared? They found out only when the wrecking co. wrote them a letter about the disposition of the vehicle.

it is strange...I remember early on the GM saying she knew Casey was not being up and up with her when she found out something that told her Casey was not where she said she was...I wonder if it was that letter?

I'm thinking between the guilt and the smell Casey, couldn't handle being in the car.

Ok.. right...

Cindy found out the car was towed, went to the car and found the b/f's address written on a piece of paper, then went to his home? Is it there where she found Casey? Instead of at Amy's where Casey said she was going?

I have requested to be friends with Jesse on his myspace. His profile pic looks a bit different than the one of him with the other dude in the vests, AND from what I can see on the tiny picture, Caylee bears great resemblance to him. I hope to find more pics of him. I noticed that Casey has bright blue eyes, while Caylee's are brown. Aren't brown eyes dominant? Doesn't surprise me that Jesse's eyes appear dark in the pic I posted.

Yes, I think Jesse may very well be her father. Things make more sense that way, especially if Cindy is so controlling and wanting Caylee for herself, they would keep quiet about it for sake of Cindy dragging him through the court system.

It is also possible that Casey staged the phone call in front of her mom just before she confessed to her that Caylee was missing. She is a pathological liar, they do things like that. I've seen it happen. She could have done that if Cindy was putting the heat on her about Caylee's whereabouts.

liltigress................I noticed that Caylee's eyes were brown, while Casey's were blue, in the pictures that were posted of Casey/Caylee. I think brown eyes are predominent if a brown-eye and blue-eyed couple have a child.

Ever since I saw the video of Jesse Grund last night, I've had a strong sense that he might well be Caylee's father.

Oh Gawd, Suzi. I sure hope not. I'm not yet ready to think this thought. I'm in denial also. I've been following this story since the beginning and I just can't set my heart to prepare for the worst yet.

You know that gut feeling? I seriously have that feeling when it comes to Jesse. I'm sure glad I'm not the only one.

I get more and more confused with the dates. The arrest report says that Amy told Caseys mom where she could find Casey on the night of July 15th.

The car was towed June 30th per this article

Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, told the Sentinel that she received a letter informing her that the car was found abandoned and had been towed. The white 1998 Pontiac was towed June 30 from an Amscot Financial store at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod Road in Orlando, Fla., said sheriff's spokesman Carlos Padilla.
"It had been with the wrecker a while before the family found out," Padilla said.
Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, had been using the car to get around, records show. Cindy Anthony said she questioned her daughter about Caylee's whereabouts when she received the letter from the tow company.

ITA esp since she borrowed and was using her friend's car for a week -- if she had Caylee with her, imo, she would have needed that carseat :(

But I guess according to Casey herself Caylee has not been with her since June 9th..This is when she is saying she dropped her off at the babysitter...weeks before she had the friend's car...
