Veromi came up with 100 people in Florida with the name Zenaida Gonzalez.

I had no idea the name Zenaida was so popular - I'd never heard of it until this week.

Blink, I found the comment about the tow date - it was reported in the Orlando Sentinel:

Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, told the Sentinel that she received a letter informing her that the car was found abandoned and had been towed. The white 1998 Pontiac was towed June 30 from an Amscot Financial store at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod Road, said sheriff's spokesman Carlos Padilla.

"It had been with the wrecker a while before the family found out," Padilla said.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, had been using the car to get around, records show. Cindy Anthony said she questioned her daughter about Caylee's whereabouts when she received the letter from the tow company.

Earlier, someone pasted a comment, I believe, where Jesse was with Casey when Caylee was only 3 months old. It just strikes me odd that he is still in the picture if there wasn't an emotional/parental bond to this child.

No way am I buying the "father killed in a crash" cop-out. That is way too convenient. If that's the case, I've said it a few times already, then the paternal g'parents would be all up in this family's business.

Cindy doesn't acknowledge Caylee's father or last name because she is selfish and wanted Caylee all to herself, my opinion in why she and Casey didn't get along.

I totally agree with you 100% here

Has there been any other reports on the car itself? In working order, out of gas??
yes it is somewhere that it was out of gas.

Surely makes no sense why she would have left the car there for more than a few hours. Especially if it only ran out of gas.

Which friend was it that she borrowed her car and went to the airport to pick her up? Was that Amy also?
yes it was Amy. If she stole $$ then she should of got gas??

I'm with you SuziQ! We all have our ways to cope with things. But LE needs to charge gma for withholding evidence / IF she never told them. What is she thinking........????

I agree isn't Casey being held for withholding information too?

Sounds like she cared more about the shed then she does her Grandchild. Your right something is wrong...none of it makes sense!

According to the lawyer on Geraldo she is in New York now!

The part about the shed didnt surprise me. Her daughter has lied ALOT plus the girl in the boyfriend/attorney video said she had stolen $700 from them......she apparently was a thief and couldnt be trusted. I know in our shed we have some quite things and we keep it locked, too. If that Dad kept his tools in that shed, wel, tools are very valuable/ pawnable.
Id like to know why the Mom didnt notify police same day she claims her 3 yr old was missing!! I dont think anyone in their right mind would try to "solve it themselves".
I dont live too far from Orlando, about 2 and half hr, I just found out about this case tonight while watching 11PM news. I sure hope they find her.

I find it strange that her car would "run out of gas" in a parking lot! Most people run out of gas in the middle of the road, and have to get pushed out of the middle.

Most people don't abandon cars that run out of gas either.....

  • #507
Yes, yes... Cindy went into too much explanation in that interview about the shed being locked up and how she and her husband were the only ones that had the key. She was keeping something in there away from Casey, not necessarily Caylee. I agree, she was childproofing, but to talk that much about it.. doesn't add up. Why not just have the key put up somewhere where Caylee couldn't get to it? That's what normal people do.

Good point!

Oh good lord. LE must be loving that Cindy is doing her own investigation!

LE needs to arrest her for tampering with an investigation.

Nancy Grace coming on now after commercial to talk about the case.

Casey got a tattoo that says "Bella Vida" in honor of her daughter. I looked it up and It's Italian and it means "beautiful life"

what do you think Casey used the $700.00 for?...this would have all taken place the week Amy was out of town, right?...which would have been approx July 6th-7th?....Casey picked Amy up at the airport on July 15th, right?

Yes...........Casey picked up Amy at the airport on July 15th, and Amy had been out of town for a week. That means that Amy was gone from July 8th or 9th to the 15th.

The car was towed on June 30th. So, it would appear that Casey abandoned her parent's car at the check cashing store parking lot sometime prior to June 30th.

The car may have been abandoned for at least a few days before the store called an impound yard to have the car towed. From what I understand, it all depends on the owner of the store or mall where the store is located. Owners set their own policy on abandoned cars and how long they're allowed to sit before being towed. With some owners it might be 24 hours, and with others, 72 hours.

I think it's safe to say that the car was abandoned at least by June 28th or 29th, and maybe a few days sooner than that.

LE needs to question the tattoo artist to hear what Casey's sob story was about getting the tatt.

I don't think Jesse is Caylee's dad. This quote is from Rev. Grund's myspace. (Since when do people in their 50's have myspace? )

He seems to really love his boys, and in turn, I would expect if he had a granddaughter, he would really, really love her. No matter what Cindy Anthony would have to say about it. Just read his quotes about his wife and his boys. I think they are just friends of the family.

Here is his myspace link http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=85212505

Yes, the SRT is kind of wacky, but the Grund's are probably the most harmless people in this case!

Jesse's parents (judging from their MySpace accounts) have more of an interest in this little girl than that of "one of my son's ex-girlfriend's kid" - I have to go back and re-read the info on SNRT that I came across last night, before I start discussing it, but I DID get the feeling that they could very possibly be involved (and that Casey is also willingly involved)

Probably used some of that 700 bucks for the tattoo

Ok.. right...

Cindy found out the car was towed, went to the car and found the b/f's address written on a piece of paper, then went to his home? Is it there where she found Casey? Instead of at Amy's where Casey said she was going?
Amy took Cindy to Casey. After Casey picked up Amy from the airport.

Last night Geraldo asked Cindy about a phone call they had received from someone who has Caylee. Cindy responded by saying she declines to talk about it. Yet, today we're hearing about this phone call. It sounds like the news media knew about the phone call.
Yea like they even know more than us and sitting on a story.

I still get the impression LE is using the media to bait the g'parents. Cindy really is digging her own hole. I'm sure they've been briefed as to what they can or can't speak about to the media, but looks like Cindy keeps slipping up?
I agree. I would think LE told her what to talk about. And she is digging more and more.

wow...Casey's "ex-fiance" wouldn't say yes or no to the question if she would be capable of harming Caylee....
Yea That spoke major volumes to me.

Did the grandmother not notice the stench when she searched the car and found the paper with the address?

I thought this too.

I know tools are very valuable & could see why it was locked up.
But according to Cindy she just went there to dig up bamboo.

Thats the million $$$ question why didn't she contact LE? Her mom called them she never did.

We all are in hopes they find her she is simply adorable.

Also, did anyone else notice that the default photo of Jesse's REV father shows him holding a handgun? as does the character photo of him in his album??? Looks more of a mobster than a minister to me!

good point...i hadn't thought of that...could very well be the reason Casey didn't have a key to the shed...
