There is also the advertising first and having the incorporation set up first. There is no corporation set up, I just checked. No wonder they rejected it.

A fictitious name is no good without a corporation to attach it to. If she has applied for a corporation, it is not showing in the Sec.of State.

Maybe that is why it was rejected, they found no corporation to attach it to. It appears she went about this backwards (why am I not surprised?)

First she should have set up the corporation then applied for in the corporate name and received her 501(C)(3) destination, then asked for the DBA fictitious name.

It still has to have a valid corporation to which it is attached. You can't just add (name),INC after a name and open a checking account. That is illegal.

I don't suspect the Anthony's attorney filed for the Fictitious Name or applied for the Corporation based on the messy handwritten application Cindy completed that's on file. Documents sent to the courts by law firms are normally typed out.

Unless someone can lassoe her in and duct tape her mouth shut, I don't think she is capable of following the advice of any professional counselor.

To set up a family foundation you have to have a 503(3)C charitable trust set up and back to the bankruptcy problem. You also have to file a charter for a corporation and my guess is she tried to do this and didn't know what she was doing.

you can set up corporations online and over the phone these days. An attorney can prepare the CRT and the foundation. It's not all that hard to tell you the truth.

maybe she has figured out no one will donate to the search fund but they might donate to this. Id sure want someone else in charge of the money not cindy. She loves to control and just like she said media who crossed her would no longer get exclusives she would surely do the same with any missing persons cause who wanted funds from this foundation she would only give it if they did everything her way and she could be on Tv giving the money.......she loves the camera it seems.

Here's where Im confused on this..If I chose I could set up a company, (Inc.), Casey Cool Aid Foundation, Inc. That doesnt mean I set up a Foundation. It means that is what my company name is. Wouldnt a foundation be set up differently than a regular company?
