poor Caylee, even at her memorial she is in the shadow of her mother.

Maybe Cindy didn't break down while talking about Caylee because she was remembering happy things. When she talked about KC, it brought out the sad feelings.........she's in jail, we don't know if she deep down believes KC harmed Caylee or not, but no matter what she believes there are now sad feelings associated with KC.

I think Cindy and George are in forgiveness mode. Maybe thats what it will take for them to live through this. Too bad they can't forgive the people that Cindy blacklisted from the service. But they are going to forgive KC for anything and everything. It may be the only way they can go on. I don't agree with it, but I can understand it.

Agreed .. I feel that I am a minority but I can understand what they are doing.

They are just a family doing their best to cope with their grief on so many levels. They are just a family looking for understanding. Who are we to judge today.

I don't want to take away from the fact that they even had a public memorial but...as for it being a memorial to honor Caylee's life...it sucked, it really did. that's just my opinion.

Oh man, my heart broke for George ... standing there next to Cindy, while she hugged another. :(

JMO, but man, I would have been holding my husband tight! And my son!!

If I was there, I would have had to walk out of the memorial when they started talking about Casey. NG is going to be on fire this afternoon.

Me thinks NG might be careful with how she reports this...

Or she could just be all out offended and let EVERYONE know it.

I dont know, I don't find it inappropriate. She is still part of their family. Maybe the letters comment was a bit too much but I think I wouldve done the same thing. I am really close with my family, even when they do something wrong.

JMO ...

Exactly. She is still GA and CA's daughter and LA's sister. They didn't stop loving her, no matter what.

odd so many seem to *know* what Lee's nick-name for Caylee might have been..

Why?! George got a standing ovation, why wouldn't Cindy?

And BOTH are equally as hard to swallow. Just when I think it doesn't get any stranger, it does.

its about unconditional love, so with that, she has to express her love for all her children~

I think it's beautiful. I can't stop crying, the faith the A's show is amazing. I don't know what to think now about them. I'm so confused.

Um, maybe that he'll make sure her death was not in vain or something regarding punishing or prosecuting the one that did this to her. You don't know when that promise was made. It could have been the first night she was missing. Casey could even be aware of the promise and that statement could have been a big FU to Casey.

I wish people would ease off judging them. He's probably not saying her name so he doesn't break down and so that he can get through his eulogy. Please try to put the pitchforks down for a second and allow him to grieve. At least give him the benefit of the doubt at her freaking memorial service. This is not a vast conspiracy with double meaning in everything. Presume for a moment if you can find it in your hearts, that what he said was as pure as the love he spoke of for Caylee.

bolded by me.
THANK YOU. I was thinking the exact same thing.
I have never been an A family supporter but this memorial has been dignified, and not the circus many of us anticipated. FWIW....my mother has 7 children.....myself, and my two sibs, and 4 grandchildren. Even though KC may have done horrible things, she is still CA's daughter and CA is grieving for her as well. You can't be a real parent and shut those feelings off.

It was almost like when she was speaking directly to KC that she knew full well it would upset lots of people. Did she just ruin the memorial by taking about KC?

Suddenly this guy doesn't sound so great.
