Brittney H2 might be a better choice. :D

This subject is near and dear - and for me, other than the humor of it, it's mostly a spelling thing.

I won't even bring up the pronunciation issues.

I'm a teacher and I wish I had a dime for every time I've misspelled Brittney, Brittany, Britney, Britnie, Ashley, Ashlee, Ashly, Ashlie, Katelyn, Caitlyn, Katelin, Catelin, Kelsey, Kelsie, Kelsee, Chelsea, Chelsee, Chelsie, Mikayla, Makayla, Mikaila, Desiree, Desirae, Deseray, Karley, Carly, Carlie...

Current kids I know with with names/spellings "of note:" Celtic, Leevie, Kendryna, Jeg, Amadeus, Jalayn, Marvel, Dallas, Chantal, Harmony, Colton, Timber, Bam, Kaydeelyn.

I've known girls and boys named Kendall, Kendell, Kendyl, Kendal, Riley, Rilie, Rilee, Tory, Torie, Torey...

Oh my, it makes my head spin.

And to think I named my own kids Thomas John, Anne Marie and Stephen Michael. The poor kids, cursed with such weird names!

I love the name Dallas!

As some of you know my son is adopted. His original name, Dayquillle

You know I changed that fast! No the THREE "L"s is not a typo!

Linda, at least it wasn't NyQuil. I like Dallas too, but what's with all the city, state and country names??? Cheyenne, Dakota, Chyna, Savannah, (actually I really like Savannah). I guess it's not that new of a thing. My 49 year old cousin is named Kenya. It wasn't for the country though, her dad's name is Kenny and her mom's is Donna. If you put them together it makes Kenya.

Ok finally looked up the info.. George Foreman's daughters names are Freeda George and Georgetta. Then 3 more with Georgeless names; Michi, Natalie and Leola.

Not celebrities but...........

Couple names their baby Hashtag

An apparently Twitter-loving couple have taken to Facebook to announce they have named their brand new daughter Hashtag, various media have reported.

Hashtags are used to highlight keywords on microblogging site Twitter.

A Facebook post on what is reportedly the mother’s Facebook page reads, “Hashtag Jameson was born at 10 oclock last night. She weys 8pounds and I luv her so much!!!!!!” 9News reported.

Hashtag isn’t the only baby to sport a social media-inspired name.

Early last year, a man in Egypt named his daughter Facebook, in honour of the country's revolution. Many had used Facebook to organise protests as part of a larger effort to overthrow leader Hosni Mubarak.
