Yes, but the jury won't ever see the note. It'll be intersting to see how McNeill manages to plant the suicide seed when he presents the defense.

The only seed I see is the state of mind angle. Even then, the wound to the throat was only minor... suicide highly unlikely even with state of mind. I guess they could claim she 'might' have tried to commit suicide and fell, busted her head, and died. Then Cesar just 'panicked', buried her and fled.

Well, I agree they won't see the note as the defense has already implied someone else in the house killed her, so it does seem they're going after another angle here and just what I'm not sure!

I really do not see why video and audio was not allowed for the rest of the court day. Anyone sitting in that courtroom can go home and post on the interent or get outside and talk to someone who will.

Sorry, but I do not understand this at all.

I don't understand either. If the jury is present, then why can't the cameras be allowed? The only reason I could understand is if the defense is trying to offer proof to back up their earlier questions but then again, the jury wouldn't be sitting there for that. :waitasec: MOO

Hi all I got sidetracked reading about the Susan Smith re-incarnate...sad. Then my bird and my dog got into a bickering session over a feather LOL - too funny. Anywhoooo....I don't understand why the camera's and recording devices had to be turned off either. If I understood correctly NO one had to leav the court room and that included whatever media may have been there? Is that correct? I mean to say I'm not sure media persons were allowed to be in the court room or linger in the halls but I've not heard a peep from any reporters either about the goings on.

If the media remained in the courtroom I'd think there would be some update by now but I haven't seen anything. And I can't see allowing them to stay if the court didn't expect some type of report. Totally confusing what went on in there this afternoon! :waitasec:

As for the crowbar - here is my opinion on that one. Please feel free to poke holes in it as you see fit. Cesar hit Maria once twice or however many times. He realizes this, knows she is dead and very particularly cleans the crow bar off, trying to put a plan together. Christina comes home to find the clean up in progress and picks up the crow bar and places it in Cesars truck quickly wiping it down as she did. Cesar then gives the crowbar to Dennis. Dennis then realizes he has the murder weapon and his wife is the one who puts it in the plastic food bag and off they go to the OCSD. This could explain why Cesar's prints are gone and the other 3 were inconclusive. Thoughts anyone? This would also (in my mind) confirm for me that Christina was part of the clean up action.

Panthera, the part I dont know is whether or not media persons were allowed of it it was just a camera and audio recording device. On one hand I say no media has been in the court room becuase they would have known about the sound issues earlier this morning rather than when I emailed Amanda. But no one attending to the camera and audio doesn't make sense to me. I know that most of the web reports give credit to photographer Chad Flowers (which is why I asked Amanda to contact him.) Also web is Matthew who emailed me back today. it is all so confusing AARRGGHHH

Good thoughts but what I am now expecting from McNeil is for that crowbar to be put in Christina's hands and not Cesar's.....which would explain Cesar handing it off to Dennis and not getting rid of it. IOW, he didn't know it was the murder weapon. Just my possible defense argument! We'll see, but that's my guess! MOO

Ahhh that, my friend, is an excellant ploy for the defense regardless if it is true. :banghead:

Why oh why could we have not had conclusive DNA from either one of the Laurean's on SOMETHING in that house (meaning garage/crime scene)??????

Honestly I think they have a few things they can work with and the crowbar is just part of it. MOO

I agree, Topsail Girl.

I have always thought that the very least Christina was involved in was the cleanup.

Panthera I'm afraid that what you are hinting at is that the prosecutions case is not going well and I think it is something that all that are interested in and are thinking maybe the same. Seems it is not the open and shut case we all thought it would be. Well knowing Christina was not going to testify (and who did really think she would) seems to me IMO giving the defense and upper hand right now. OR maybe I'm scarred from past cases and just have no clue the reality this time 'round

Someone with the TV station must have been in the courtroom when the judge was banning the camera and audio because the camera very soon panned to an empty space in the courtroom then went blank.

I have at times also seen what looked to be a media guy on the last bench in camera view at times. He was wearing a suit.

I just do not get it. I want to hear from one of those spectators that stayed in the courtroom. LOL - fat chance.

Yes at least clean up but today I find myself wondering if she was indeed involved with all.....killing Marie. I have no reasonable explanation for my feelings - just something inside me has changed. I think the non-conclusive evidence and the fact that Cesars DNA was not on the murder weapon. BUT I also know in my heart from following so many cases that nit really does't mean that much if he cleaned up well behind himself. It is apparent that SOMEONE did not clean up well in the garage. A 20 inch blood streak?? Now what woman do you know would not see/cleam a 20 inch stain no matter what it was. I feel in my heart that Cesar killed Maria but the question is can it be proven.....Maybe Christina killed her and said to Cesar - I killed - you clean it up.
