Maria requested discharge, WHY didn't they discharge her?? Prosecution objected so we won't know.

Again, this is fairly common. Lots of people sign up, go through training, and then decide that military life isn't all what they expected. The government invests a lot of time and money in a Marine's training, and they aren't super inclined to let them go when they feel like it's just a failure to adjust. Most people with adjustment issues do better over time, which is why they don't let them go right away.

I gotta say this defence lawyer really doesnt do anything for Cesar, not that I mind, the guy needs to go to jail, but all he is doing is trashing the good name of Maria and not adding anymore specualtion to anyone else doing it in these witness testimony's.

I hope there is a video to rewatch her testimony, especially when she gave the specific date, although the time was very clear. I had a hard time understanding a lot of what she said.

Testifying about investigation re: alleged sexual assault, MPO issued, no report of MPO being violated. Investigated any corroboration of allegation. DNA test performed as to paternity of Maria's unborn child. Christina was informed of DNA result. Investigated rape allegation and homicide. Investigated report by Pamela Chavis (sp?) re: seeing Maria and Cesar at PX. Testifying about report of Maria being missing, inventory of personal effects.

just to clarify, is she talking about the DNA test done after the murder?

Panthera you spelled it correctly according to the witness list. Pamela Chavis testified about seeing them on several occasions and once Cesar was picking out crystal for his gransmother for Christmas.

Witness testifying to 01/11/08 going to attorney Castle's office to meet Christina. Is asked for a description of Christina that day. Christina is about her height (5'7"). Defense is handing witness the crowbar and asking weight of crowbar. State objecting to relevancy. Christina was going to be questioned at OCSO; initial questioning period of 30-45 minutes, then she was moved to another area free of media, went to another interview room for further questioning. Witness asked Christina about willingness to participate further and search of her residence. Christina agreed to search. Witness asked if she ever asked Christina to help her find Cesar. Another objection. Witness asked Christina questions about disappearance of Maria. Also had subsequent interviews with Christina. More objections; jury excused.
