misdemeanor battery

If found guilty or pleads no contest I'm guessing a $50 fine and an order to stay at least 500-1,000 feet from any of the A's and no probation. Misdemeanors rarely if ever bring on big deal sentences.

LE should look just as hard at them as they do the protesters. Neither side has clean hands in their responses.

Edited to add: I thought it would behoove us to hear from the protesters themselves what their motivation is for being there instead of speculating why they are there.

It doesn't matter why they were there. You don't take the law into your own hands. That was wrong.

So true! The protesters had no control of themselves & no respect for the neighbors who didn't ask for the disruption in thier lives too! Only KC asked for it in the end.

"This is a reminder, don't commit a battery, have control of yourself," Detective Freddie Sams said.

I didn't see alot of protesting. What I saw was a whole lot of harrassement. If even one person was outside of my house shouting and threatening me, I could have them taken away and charged. Why should the Anthony's need to put up with a mob? Bottem line, they did not kill their grandchild and even if there were those that thought they did, you do not harrass. That is what LE is for.
