In 2008 I said Cindy Anthony's misguided public relations attempts are harming her daughter's case in biblical proportions. Despite EVERYTHING, she continues with mistakes that are tough to measure. Ironic that Cindy would be purposely making the news and drawing attention to her notorious daughter to have the words "Murdered granddaughter", in the lead of a local news story. It is quite counter productive to Mason and Baez's argument that the news media is all over Casey like white on rice. Whose side is she on?!!! Since Baez has such a poor understanding of prior restraint, I doubt he could implore upon her anything constructive. Brad was unsuccessful, if he tried. It remains shocking to me since he accompanied mom and pop to many a media interview. Heavy sign from the judge. Who is steering this runaway train, Scooby Doo?
She is primarily concerned with her image, her fantasy as how she wishes to be perceived. If you don't believe me ask the Federal Agent that interviewed her. He nailed it! There is no way, literally zero chance, that she doesn't realize that she should lay low and say ONLY no comment. Yet, even after the WHY letter, she continues. Still!
When a man comes home with perfume on his collar, that dude wants to be caught. That is how overtly mom's actions work against her daughter. We see that indeed the apple hath not fallen far from the tree. Self absorbed and self serving are the only words I can attach to announcing a donation.
In my humble opinion, the new lawyers are going to be overwhelmed immediately.
She should let Lee be her guide and remain private. Forever.
MOO
According to Patalano, Anthony offered to share the flier with local media outlets. Patalano assumed the media might mention the shoe drive as part of a "public service announcement." She said she did not know
Anthony was planning to donate her murdered granddaughter's shoes, nor share that information with the media.
By Wednesday morning, Patalano said she was being bombarded with phone calls at home and at work from protesters, whom she described as "hateful." Patalano fears the controversy could jeopardize her 20-year career at the pharmacy. She also said several other pharmacies have decided not to host similar shoe drives as a result of the negative publicity, which means fewer donations for the orphans.__________________
I am so impressed with all of our members that are donating to the charity and their local charity. It is productive and making lemon-aide out of lemons. That is what good people do, they step up to make something good come out of the most unlikely circumstances. I liken it to the honor of Mr. Miller and Mark Klass and the other parents that advocate for children after their own tragedy. I am proud of all of you today. I hope that doesn't sound condescending, because you inspire me so very much!!! There are heroes amung us!
God bless our troops, all of you, and may God bless the United States of America!

a trial would be suicide and only make things worse." - Richard Hornsby

"You can pretty well predict there's going to be a life sentence, either a plea and get it over with or have a circus trial and then be convicted and get life," lead attorney for Casey Anthony, Cheney Mason said.
