Details of Disappearance
Reed last contacted her family on October 26, 2002. She said she was in Greenwood, Mississippi and traveling home to Little Rock, Arkansas. She was considering stopping in Meridian, Mississippi to visit her cousins.

Reed has never been heard from again. Her car, a turquoise/blue four-door 1998 Ford Contour with Arkansas license plates, has never been recovered either. She may be in the Little Rock area. Her case remains unsolved.

Considering that Chassity weight 320 pounds she must've been easy to notice and hard to dispose off.

Since her car was never recovered either perhaps she's still alive, Maybe she wanted to change lifestyle? with the little info it's hard to speculate further.

MPD searches for missing woman - Franklin County Times

The Meridian Police Department is searching for a 24-year-old black woman from Arkansas who has been missing since Monday.
Police said Chassity Reed, 24, of Little Rock, was last seen driving a turquoise1998 Ford Countour with Arkansas tag number of 588-GSS.
Reed is described as being 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 320 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 485-1860 or the MPD at 485-1893.

Reed lived in Little Rock, Arkansas at the time she disappeared. She made contact with a family member in Greenwood, Mississippi and told them that she was en route to Scooba, Mississippi but was considering stopping to see a cousin in Meridian, Mississippi on her way. She was driving a turquoise 4 door 1998 Ford Contour with Arkansas license plates. She never arrived at her cousin’s home and has not been seen or heard from since. Her vehicle has never been located. Reed’s disappearance remains unsolved at this time.
