cheers everyone, i’m nae ('nay')
i’m just beginning my journey into family sleuthing and public records research. i come from a deeply blended family and grew up without knowing much about my blood relatives, so i’m slowly piecing things together on my own—names, birth dates, and life stories of people i’ve never had the chance to meet.

as a multi-hyphenate autistic person, i’m deeply skilled at noticing detail and tending to the “little” things that others might overlook. i’ve been unemployed for the past six months, and part of what draws me here is the desire to channel my energy into something meaningful—something i know will let me keep giving, learning, and building both skills and passions.

i process best by writing, mapping, and drawing connections and i’m here because i value community and collective wisdom. i know many of you have years of experience in this type of research, and i’m excited to learn from your strategies, tools, and patience.
thank you for welcoming me into this space—I’m looking forward to growing my sleuthing skills alongside you all.
