What if
1. There is very little similarity to the deaths of Emerson and Dunlap besides the decapitation? There's not much between Bryant and Dunlap and Emerson.
2. What if Cheryl's car was used in a drug deal. The reason it was wiped down was for the people who had been in it.
3. What if the slashed tire had nothing to do with a "flat tire" and was nothing more than vandalism from being left there overnight a couple of nights?
4. What if the local boys were actually trying to find Cheryl Saturday night after she was taken by the people who used her car for a drug deal?
5. What if Hilton had nothing more to do with her than to haul Cheryl from one place to another.
6. What if Cheryl was as close to the bank as right across the street the whole time - and not by Hilton but by others.
7. What is Hilton was long gone when she was put in the woods by the guys that were seen in the truck very close to the time that she was found by the hunters?
8. Why was that bank used over and over? that's not what Hilton did in the Emerson case - he went from bank to bank? - ?maybe different people using Hancock bank than Hilton?
9. What if the camo truck had nothing more to do with anything except it was trying to use the drive through and saw people STANDING at the ATM? - unless the camo truck was seen in all 3 bank photos from sun, mon, and tues - I'd say that's about what it was?

11. Was cheryl's car in mechanical running condition when it was found - like was it out of gas, or did it have motor/engine trouble - and the tire is just a fluke they've never told us - or maybe LE has never even tried to start the darn car?

Wow!! Now that was a fast response!! I suppose I should explain why I'm asking such an odd question like that. Well, on another forum, one that you are also a member on, someone stated they see a spotlight of some sort on top of that camoflauge truck at the bank. I pulled up the picture of it and sure enough, there is one. I'm trying to figure out why that truck would be driving around with a portable light on top of it and then remembered some saying they thought maybe he was playing out that movie. Had wondered if the light served some sort of purpose in that regard and if he was mimicking something from the movie but I guess not. Thanks though!

Those lights like the one you are describing (and I think I see it too) - are used a lot in hunting.
Say you have killed a deer right at sundown. And now you need light to see to load up your deer - you turn the light on. Hopefully it's not used to "get deer in the headlights" sort of thing and shoot them illegally. ugh. But that's usually what they are used for - to shed some light on your camp area or to help load up your dogs when hunting, or load up your buck or doe you have shot (if it's doe season).

Yanceyb, I honor your opinion, and thanks for your reply. If you research the evidence that's been released that was recovered from GMH's van, listen to his GBI/FBI and SC Sheriff's interviews, read the redacted evidence released by Leon Co., FL, study GMH's timeline(License queries)etc. Then most of your 'what ifs' will be answered..

I have been speaking with some others lately, and am learning some other things, and have come to a pretty different conclusion than I had even 6 months ago. There may be evidence of Cheryl having been in the white van, but that would not get a death sentence I don't think - could be wrong, but I don't think. The similarities to the crimes Hilton has been charged with and is being looked at so far are so dissimilar, he must had had associates in one way or another. I hope to goodness they have Hilton's DNA in Dunlap's car. Sure do. That would go a long way. I don't put total 100% faith even in redacted statements in those documents either, sadly. I'm also hoping there are witnesses sequestered in the jail that will testify. Ditto on that. Have we ever been told who belonged to the women's clothing found in Jimbo Beale's camper?

You seem familiar with it's uses-ever see any trucks just driving around the streets with one on top of it? I have never. And aren't they normally removed and stored when not in use? GMH's MO & signature evolved and his evil deeds were dissimilar by design. GMH, was a stealth predator, which is why he was oblivious to law enforcement for decades. Forty seven years according to him. He was a master emulator. He said in the Jackson Interview that, "I am a hunter, a Professional."

re: clothes in Jimbo Beale's vehicle: We haven't been told many things since the FBI took over the GMH investigation around March 1, 1980.
The 5 garbage bags with remains and a domino pizza receipt from GMH's neighborhood found smouldering on Sticher Rd., LaGrange, GA, hasn't been mentioned by the media either as many others.
I am very surprised that the lack of a 911 call by John Tabor on 01/03/08, although he had two oportunities to do so, hasn't raised some eyebrows by the people following this thread.
GMH, only had four friends. Three of those were 'Officers of the Court.' Still wonder why the media has been silenced by the Leon County FL; Judge?

The should be ashamed. GMH's victim's deserve Justice....

LOL I do that sometimes too, answer my own ques. I did think about the fact tho it was Dec 1 or so, and hunting season was going on for some things at that point. I wish LE would be honest with the public so we could come up with some useful tips, but the game that's going on now, hardly lets the public know enough to be of any use at all. Like, why give a picture of a truck on a different night than the picture of the ATM pictures? If the camo truck was there the 2 nights and 1 morning, why not show them together? I notice some of the posts have been removed again this morning from another website (more censorship). Wonder what was said? I do think if that's her in the background of the ATM picture, she was not driven there.

He pretty much admits he knows something about Eli Frady (spelling) the boy that was shot and killed while hiking a decade ago as well.. Reading around the lines, he mentions if he had an attorney there and they gave him immunity he'd help they with the Frady case.
I think he's holding out on heckuva lot of murders he's committed since he wants immunity and wants the death penalty off the table.

The only way to get Hilton to admit to all his killing is to just take the death penalty off the table alltogether. Give him life, it will solve a lot of cold cases, murders and missing people cases. Possibly cases not even known about. This guy is prolific, he's as old as Bundy would be if he were alive, and has been killing just as long. His body count could go into the near 100's. They really need to just give him life so they can solve these cases. The only reason he won't talk is he's afraid of getting the death penalty.
If you weigh it, giving him life is worth solving a ton and more of cold cases involving him.

I have wondered if he actually took part in these crimes or was he just involved in the crimes themselves and knows what went on. Has anybody ever found out what Cynthia Nassar's son meant when he said his mother described Hilton as "he's sick". That's the son who says his mom and Hilton were not boyfriend/girlfriend. I wish we could find some corroborating evidence that Hilton was in Leon or Wakulla or Jefferson counties around the time Cynthia Nassar was here, 2005. If we had the Florida traffic stops of his tag or license that might help.

Sure would love to know what it was that made them decide so quick it was Hilton's site. Also, most of the time when Wolf mentions people up in that area, they don't seem to know about Hilton, and suddenly these people were all clued in??? And this stuff has been in the woods for 2 winters - at least - and it's still good as clues? I'm having trouble buying this story. The byline has Sept 14 2009. So it's recent. And it's in a wildlife management area -- wow. Those are special. Usually covered pretty thoroughly with US Foresty people, and people who hunt wildlife mgt areas usually hunt them pretty steady and know all the nooks and crannies. I hope they do more on this story.

Maybe there was something with those books they found at the site. Seems I recall reading much talk about various books in the Cheryl Dunlap case. Maybe they checked prints too? Maybe if he was the masked dude at the bank his outfit was there from that? Wow, now that would be something alright right there. Wishful thinking on my part I'm sure. Sure would like to know how they confirmed it was Hilton's stuff. Still no news on Kristi Cornwell. How sad for her teenaged son.

I have a question for Wolfscratch about that movie Deadly Run. Have you watched the movie? If so, how did the serial killer hunt down the victim-was it on foot or was he in some type of vehicle? I know it's a strange question but there's a specific reason I am asking it in regards to Hilton. Thank you.

I read your question Jennagirl and I had wondered the same thing. I don't think I understood if Wolfscratch ever answered your question. Or maybe he did and I missed it.
