Chris Brown Melts Down After Tough 'Good Morning America' Interview

  • #21
Like Charlie Sheen, he is going to get away with it since ABC declined to file a police report.

This is the part I dont get.
I guess we should keep in mind that ABC is the network that paid $200k to Casey Anthony for her baby's pictures. Takes one to know one?

NEW YORK – Chris Brown apologized for his destructive tantrum at "Good Morning America" earlier this week, explaining that he was surprised that his attack on Rihanna was brought up during his interview and needed to "let out steam" after getting upset.

I know....I am a hard sell.....BUT I didn't see surprise and I ain't buying... To me he was already angry and just waiting for RR to "mess up" and push him too far ( in his mind...justified for acting anyway he CHOOSES...although he would say he can't stop or even help it!) all MOO!

He's an abuser and that's it... I don't think he changed and I don't buy his apology. He has not learned his lesson. That is all I have to add, except he will walk away from this without a dent on him. What a shame.

russell Simmons (I think I have his name correct) was giving an interview (my keyboard is doing some very strange things so if this posts messed up I apologize) about C. Brown and this latest incident and I only caught the end of the interview but it appeared to me that Simmons was admonishing the interviewer for not being more kind to Brown? Anyone else see this?

I'm with ya' Gozgals. This is the excuse batterers often give: "I'm sorry honey but you pushed me too far! You made me so angry!" They act like their temper is a thing they cannot control, something separate from themselves with a power of its own so they cannot be blamed. But, anyone who "pushes" them too far can be.

Lesson learned from this is that this young man learned well from his mother's abuser about how to be a man and he needs intensive, regular intervention from specialists who deal with rage before he has a chance of unlearning what he was taught. This will take years. Very sad.

Good. I note that while Brown states his fans should send nastygrams to Roberts, his tone and the way he said it as well as his expressed "disappointment" in the way he acted the reasons why he did what he did, again seem to imply that someone else was at fault (Roberts) and that while he didn't handle it perfectly, he is not entirely to blame. Ick. This guy is a long, long way from changing for the better. His career should take a nose dive until he makes an honest attempt at change.

Okay, I see absolutely nothing rude or wrong or insulting in the least about what Robin Roberts asked. She was very subtle and very respectful and the whole thing was very quick. This guy has a real problem. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlCmrRdMsKk[/ame]

I was absolutely disgusted and apalled that Chris Brown went on Dancing With The Stars after his meltdown and got a standing ovation!?!? How can people do that?? So we reward truly sh**** behavior in our society?? You beat women and then you act like a complete loon when someone calls you out on that fact and that is to be respected and admired?? We truly do live in a society that devalues women on a consistent basis. Shame on ABC!!

I agree with you 100% Nancy...he really turns my stomach and it will be only a matter of time before he gets the sh** knocked out of him.
Why does society applaud this behavior? The only thing I will applaud is when Chris Brown gets the pi** knocked out of him, damn sissy!
