I was never a fan of either band, but I have long heard chatter that scandalous things have happened, regarding both bands, that would eventually be exposed. Tait abruptly left the Newsboys after singing for them for many years, and now it's being reported that several men have accused him of drugging and molesting him. How much the other band members knew about this is not publicly known at this time.

Anyone remember the opening quote of DC Talk's song "What if I Stumble"? My mind keeps going back to it, while I'm not mentally re-writing "Jesus Freak". Reading how he used his influence and power over these much younger men is infuriating.
