Did anyone else hear that last Fox reporter talking about what was on the cell phone search warrant? Something about the discussion between CL and Christina being 1/10/08, and she held back reporting that conversation till 1/11/08 a.m. I think they said that CL told Christina the suicide story 1/10/08, but before that he had told her he took Maria to the bus station and got her the ticket and money because she wanted to leave town.

If we can view the cell phone search warrant, it will be explained better!

They are in the media links thread at the top of the page...

Oh, thanks, glezell. I don't have time to look right now, but that warrant supposedly has the discussion between Christina and Cesar from 1/10. Of course, you guys probably were on it 3 hours ago! I'm behind!!

An article fron the Jacksonville NC news paper discussing the weapon states that evidence was found in the truck and was being processed. And that police have not ruled out the Bus ticket purchased by Maria was used by someone I wonder if something found in the truck has cast doubt on the things Christina has been saying.

I can't believe that authorities have not arrested Christina. Her whole story stinks and NOT ONE person mentions just where the hecks she was all this time with an 18month old baby in tow. Why is that left off of all info and why don't the police mention where she was?

I believe they do suspect that she helped but they are going along with her trying to get as much info as they can from her. She definitely aided and abetted her husband to be sure he got long on his way to Mexico before she reported anything. The Marine Corp also makes me sick that they allow these sorts of people be members of the armed forces and they are not investigating her and are allowing her to work on base. Totally scary. I think she was in on the whole thing with her husband. I hope the police have wired her whole house for phone calls, checking with all cell phone companies for any info on any calls she may receive on a phone they know nothing about, tapping her phones at work and intercepting all mail so that she can never hear from this husband herself again.

WRAL article about conversation:
http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/2316773/
Christina Laurean told Onslow County sheriff's detective John Dubois that a disoriented and agitated Lauterbach returned to Cesar Laurean's house later that night and told him that "her plan had failed, that an argument ensued" and that she produced a knife and killed herself by slitting her throat."

According to the warrant, Maria's car was located on JAN 7th - at the Jacksonville Bus Station.

WHERE WAS HER CAR from Dec 14th until JAn 7th??? We know the car was NOT sitting at the bus station all that time because the police and others had looked there for it as soon as Maria's mother reported Maria missing to the Sheriff.

So where was it? And WHO took it to the bus station on the 6th or 7th?

And 🤬🤬🤬 SAID he went with Maria to buy the bus ticket on the 15th. Did the clerk SEE HIM with Maria?? Was there ANYONE who saw 🤬🤬🤬 with Maria on Saturday?

And finally, where is the spot in "the woods" that 🤬🤬🤬 said he originally buried Maria's body? If she was originally "in the woods" then when did he move Maria's body back onto his property and build the "firepit" for the parties on the 23rd and 24th?

So according to Xtina, she did not know about Maria's "suicide" until Jan 10th?? So the painting and the landscaping and Maria's car being at their house and 🤬🤬🤬 driving it around in plain sight of everyone ALL of that going on and it didn't make her even a little suspicious??

Hmmmmmm???

The more info we get, the more dubious Xtina's story gets.

My Opinion

FC According the the SW 16 states " As a reult of the investigation. I know maria Lauterbach purchased a ticcket to Texas on dec. 15 2007. I learned this after reciving reports from OCSO Det. Jason Daughtery who interviewed employees at the Traiways bus station in Jacksonville station.

Had to be someone who looked like Maria, eye witnesses are wrong some times.....

I read somewhere that it was ajacent to his property. And I do remember reading when they first started looking for her that they were searching a wooded area. Then the next thing you know they are at his house. Might have something to do with the serveral note that Christina found from Cesar

I don't buy it either and what we all need to remember here is that Christina and Cesar had a whole month to discuss,plan,re-enact & rehearse everything they were gonna say and do...

I don't think she cut a deal myself. I think she believes her statement clears her and puts the blame squarely on him. I also don't buy her statement and it makes her less than credible.

Not that I believe this, but... wouldn't it make a good story if wife killed victim then wife killed him and staged his escape? :-) Likely not true, but likely wife had some knowledge if not participation in act and/or clean-up. That beining said, it is possible that the blood was in part of house where she did not go (ie, garage if car not kept there, etc). Anyone hear wha t part of the house the blood was in?

I just read the warrant. WOW! Good question about where that car was -- didn't the neighbor say it was in CL's driveway?

I used to work for Mark Raynor the attorney he retained. Small world.

O,k, I am completely confused by reading this. If Maria died on the 14th then how could she possibly have boughten the ticket on the 15th. Also I thought Christina woke up to find the note but now she new about it the day before? I might have mommy brain today but I am definately confused.

Well NOW LE is saying publicly that they believe Maria was DEAD on the 14 - and DEAD WOMEN do not BUY BUS TICKETS - regardless of what a witness (clerk) says.

I think WIVES of suspects DO buy bus tickets (while impersonating the victim) and evidently they do so while their husbands stand nearby (she said 🤬🤬🤬 said he went WITH Maria to buy the ticket on the 15th).

That whole scenario that Xtina laid out about what 🤬🤬🤬 supposedly told her in the car on the 10th seems mainly CYA - to prove SHE had nothing to do with the cover-up AND to prove MAria was alive on the 15th - when Xtina was actively participating in the cover-up.

If Maria was killed the afternoon of the 14th - then she did NOT write the note, she DID NOT withdraw $700 at the ATM and she DID NOT buy a bus ticket in Jacksonville.

And WHY would Maria buy a bus ticket, leave a note for Durham and get $700 and then RETURN to 🤬🤬🤬 house the night of the 15th and say her plans "weren't working out"?

And if she wasn't dead ...where WAS Maria the night of the 14th????

I think it's going to get a whole lot worse for her, than it's going to get better. And I think she's in a spot she never imagined she woud be -

Sooo What IF - It was Cesarino's plan all along - have her help, and involve, and he hightails it out to Mexico, and she's left holding the bag once he's free....

Anyone else think that thought might be running through her head at all? If so, won't she flop a lot sooner than later?

Shepard Smith is talking to the neighbor that had a conversation with Christina about the paint job she was doing (she was painting the whole house including the garage) and the neighbor thinks Christina was in on the murder.

Yes, I also think that FBI & LE haven't turned the heat up on her yet because she is still talking! As soon as they do turn the heat up she will get a lawyer and not say another word...I think they are acting like they are on her side right now. Even the way they talk about her on the news is like they know she is watching the news so they are saying exactly what she wants to hear!

According to the search warrant christina has been talking to the LE with a lawyer with her.
