You believe it was the "other" Patsy .. right Paradox?
I think the "other's" name is Sandy, not Patsy.

Brodie. It is you who betrayed me.
Sandy. No, I simply put a stop to you, Miss Brodie.
Brodie. You have assassinated me.!

Brodie. Yes, that is to be your gift, Sandy - to kill without concern. It is you who are dangerous!

From the play The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

I've never had any done, but some women have permanent make-up applied. Eye liner, lip tinting etc. That way they do look ready for the day without having to do much.

Great!

I'll have to try to remember the name of this thread. I'm always losing the ones where I want to be sure to see comments, forgetting titles. So as a former beauty queen you can reassure us that it's not a bad thing, right? A person who was always jealous of my husband, that I sort of inherited from him, told that I'd been a beauty queen, not so, among other things he made up, when trying to make people jealous of me in the classical music business. Hates beauty queens, and everyone, evidently, may have become rather powerful in some secret organization. Did you see the 1970's movie "Stepford Wives" where the "Mens' Association" was killing off all the wives as fast as they could make the robot replicas? Some of the men loved their wives and were sickened by this. Imagine living with a robot, no matter how "nice" it's programmed to be. But they wouldn't be allowed to make a living in the town if they didn't keep quiet. Don't know if they could have moved away. (Could something like that be why the R's and others seemed to "cover up"? But I don't mean to change the subject.)

I for one didn't see or read The Prime of Miss Jean Brody, and probably not many others did, so don't expect us to know all about "Sandy" or any other character, which it'd be nice to know. What the heck was that all about?

Thanks, Paradox. Especially now that I'm 70, hee hee. Guess I needed that.

Anyway, Trixie could give us some insights about that business.

Sorry, trixie, you're right! I get confused sometimes!

"BTW she wasn't blubbering and crying when the cops got there. She was frantic as in scared, but no reports of her crying or sobbing....until much later in the morning."

Seeker, you just reminded me of something. Remember the neighbor who supposedly heard a scream? And how the police did tests that showed a scream would be more easily heard outside than on the third floor? Well, Patsy claims that she screamed when she saw the note and that John heard her from the third floor bedroom.

Which is it?

Don't know what you're talking about or where you got this beauty queen idea about me. Obviously you totally misread or misunderstood something. I was offended about the blunt rudeness directed to another poster by SuperDave, but he probably didn't mean for it to sound that way.

Rashomon,

We were discussing how Patsy looked in the photo of Christmas morning with Jonbenet,I believe that's what less0305 was refering to,not how Patsy looked the morning of the 26th.

It doesn't look to me that Patsy had make up on in the photo with JonBenet.
Thanks capps. I hadn't read the whole thread, sorry.
I just looked at the picture and think Patsy's nose is far too red for her to be wearing make-up. At least she did not put on foundation.
