Christmas Tree Woman

We don't have a thread for this woman yet. There's alot in this photograph that can give us clues to who she is I think.

First I saw it seemed she had a stigmatizim? Am I spelling that correct? My friend had it until she had her eye fixed. They called it a "lazy eye". Not my term, but hers.

I KNOW there's a girl that is in the missing on the Charley Project that had this. I have to go back and look and see who it is, and which eye.

In the background to the right there's an opened gift. It's a box and I am thinking I see an Indian Head on it. I thought it said EAGLE at the top, but it seems like too many letters. However there is an Indian Head resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire.

Is this woman's clothes right for say 1970-1971? Also is this a denim skirt she has on? It seems to blend in with the carpet she's on which does NOT match the rest of the carpet. It's almost like she's standing on a very long WELCOME mat of sorts. I say that because I see the letter "M" or "W' depending on how you look at it. Maybe it says Merry Christmas? I doubt it. She has rings on both hands. A present in her hand although she doesn't look genuinely happy to me.

Again and it may only be me I see a bruise by her or on her collar bone right hand side. Maybe a shadow. Whose place is this? Who are thos gifts for?

She looks like she is wearing gray slacks to me. Gray slacks, black blouse, printed vest, and purple socks. I wonder if it is one of those Christmas games where everyone brings a gift and puts it under the tree. Then you go up and get a gift one at a time. And you can either take a new gift or take someone else's gift. It's like she's shy about going up there.

There is another picture of a woman who looks like she's at a party -- casually but nicely dressed with a wreath pin on. Maybe it's the same party.

I think this room is in New England somewhere. The windows behind the tree have grilles on them -- or possibly genuinely divided colonial windows, since it looks like there might be some snow gathered outside. I need to get that on the high-res monitor and look at it some more...

There's a polished wood floor with a plain gray circular carpet, and a small oriental rug on top of that -- very common New England decorating.

Behind the Christmas tree -- an old-fashioned steam radiator. So an older house.

Dark socks -- very common to go around in stocking feet in New England -- it keeps the muddy shoes by the door.

She looks to me like he snapped her picture as she was turning away from the Christmas tree to hand the package to him (or to someone else). It looks like the family is in the process of opening presents.

I notice she appears to be wearing a wedding ring.

I keep thinking this woman is a relative. She looks like the same woman with short hair who is sitting on his lap.

I agree that the woman in the leopard collar is probably the blue bikini girl, but I don't think the Christmas tree woman matches. The mouth and chin just don't look right to me when I try to picture them in profile.

And I don't think the leopard collar girl is the Christmas tree woman. To me they don't look alike at all. There are a couple of other pictures of the leopard collar girl. Guess we better leave things like they are, huh.

I think X-Mas tree girl, blue bikini and lap are all the same girl, the mouth and chin are very similar, but leopard print coat is not - IMO:

For comparison - leopard print coat - different girl IMO.

I also think they were all taken in NH....JMHO. And I read on another thread that there is 3 years difference between he and one sister. There seems to be a greater age difference to me in this case.

One more comment, I don't think Alcala would have saved any photos of himself with a victim. I think he was too smart for that. Therefore I think this person is still alive.

I just read an article that said he has "sisterS", it didn't say how many. We do know that there is one 3 years younger than him, but we don't know how old the other(s) are. I'm also wondering what drew him to NH in the first place, relatives? Could this be a cousin?

I agree the blue bikini pictures were taken in NH -- that looks very much like Lake Sunapee, near where he lived 1969-1971.

He was on the lam and living under the John Burger name, so I doubt if he went there because of relatives -- more likely the reverse. Also, I think LE would have recognized any immediate family members. I suspect this was a neighor; he seems to have been on good terms with his mother's neighbors and with all the people he worked with. None of the known murders were of people close to him.
