Re Cina Wong Interview:

@2:41 TG: I tweeted about the show tonight and I actually tagged John Andrew and he wrote back.
I wanna read it to you.
Ah. He says "Cool. I will record it and then send it to Lin." ...

@ 4:51 CW, Intro, background story
@ 14:35 Methodology and JBR case

@ 31:34 CW: They're not supposed to.
It's called sanitizing a record.

CW claims her deposition in the Wolf vs Ramsey case was 'sanitized'.

W vs R:
Wolf v. Ramsey, 253 F. Supp. 2d 1323 (N.D. Ga. 2003)

ETA: CW never signed off on the deposition.
@ 32:32 CW: Mr. Wood never sent me a copy of the deposition and I never signed off on it.

Wrt CW deposition
http://www.acandyrose.com/20020513cinawongdeposition.txt

@ 32:39 CW: So it wasn't until years later did I figure out that there's portions of my deposition that are on the internet.

People haven't counted the pages to see that, how come pages are missing.
So a very, I guess, a heavily edited version of my deposition transcript is out there

Re @36:38 copybook formats

American copybook format,
Palmer, Zaner-Bloser

Copybook examples: Palmer & Zaner-Bloser | Teaching cursive, Handwriting alphabet, Cursive writing
"Palmer method: commonly taught from early part of the 20 century through 1960
Zaner-Bloser method: one of the systems taught in schools after 1960 or so"

Zaner-Bloser Handwriting © 2020 | Teach All Students to Shine

"four basic strokes to form all letters (manuscript and cursive)"

@ 39:48 CW: ... was educated in the United States and not a foreigner who was trying to emulate the English handwriting.
And the same applies to the JonBenet Ramsey note.
It was not written by a foreign faction.
It was written by someone who was educated in the United States because the ransom note writing correlates with American copybook form.

If I heard Cina correctly, she said that a 5-point scale isn't used in document examination in this country, but that doesn't accord with what I've recently read, which is that the FBI uses, or used, a 5-point scale (identification, may have, no conclusion, may not have, elimination) as delineated here: Review Article - Handwriting Examination: Meeting the Challenges of Science and the Law - October 2009

She also referred to a 7-point scale, which I don't remember reading about, but I don't doubt exists. One can see why standardization of terminology is an issue in handwriting analysis--and why most document examiners don't use numbers in their conclusions (allegedly).

I hope she throws more light on the subject in her forthcoming book.

I was interested to hear about different copybook forms in different countries and to hear that the ransom note exhibited American copybook form, iirc.

Over 200 similarities between PR's handwriting and the rn.
CW believes only one person wrote the rn.

Wrt 5 point scale
@ 1:00:50 CW: oh, are they talking about the imaginary 5 point scale that Patsy Ramsey's supposed to be so low on.
There's no 5 point scale used in the United states regarding document examination.

(According to CW,
Point system used in United States is 7 point system)

ETA wrt "highly probable" @ 1:02:23
CW: I was working with photocopies at this time.
I did not know what generation but I did have Darney ask Mr. Wood what generation and we never got an answer.

ETA fr brown, maybe her comment is meant to be specific to a particular Association?

Perhaps. It certainly wasn't the only system used at the time because I see court cases referring to the 9-point scale. And, of course, there is ASTM E1658 from various years.

Is it really a good idea to be poking people in the eye? When I read tweets like this Dec. 26 tweet from Lin Wood, I think "brain tumor":

Because my name is Lucian, I have read about Saint Lucian of Antioch. He was falsely accused of heresy. Kyle Rittenhouse lives in Antioch, Illinois. Kyle was falsely accused of murder. Anthony Quinn Warner is under investigation for Nashville bombing. He lives in Antioch, Tenn.

I think he's unwell. I don't think I'm alone.

And what is the benefit of provoking JAR? I think you should be more circumspect.
