Hi, Linda...I think the denial they're experiencing is not denial over Caylee's death at this point. I think the denial is due to not being able to face that Casey really did such a horrible thing...they just can't believe it of her. Once they admit Caylee is dead, they then have to face the ugly, harsh truth about Casey, and they just can't. They also can't face the feelings of guilt (whether rational or not) that they should've done more to clamp down on Casey all along, that they should've taken custody of Caylee, should've never let Casey leave with her....all the "if only" thoughts must be torturous and nearly impossible to face as well.

They're trying to hold on to a shred of their former life, before they learned how devious and horrible Casey truly is, before they realized what they're gonna have to live with the rest of their lives. They want it not to be true, it just can't be...therefore, they are trying to make it okay, to salvage something, anything. So until they can face that Casey really did harm Caylee, they will keep saying she's alive, even though they likely know more than we do about things and likely have known, IMO, since early on that Caylee will never come home alive.

They aggravate the hell out of me with all their lying, but I do feel so terribly sorry for the loss of BOTH their grandbaby and their daughter, and for having to face a truth so gut-wrenching that it's just unimaginable to me. I think they have every right to be supportive of Casey, but they do not have carte blanche to lie to LE and the public in an attempt to help her evade justice, no matter how sorry we feel for them.

Just because Caylee isn't here any longer doesn't mean she doesn't count. Casey had a choice. Caylee didn't. While I understand the A's dilemma and fully expect them to support Casey, they have gone too far with it. They can support Casey without telling lies and spinning things in an effort to thwart justice for Caylee. At some point the truth has to matter, for Caylee's sake. It hurts to see her own family forsaking her this way. I think that's what upsets a lot of people (I know it does me).

George may accept things eventually, once a trial actually proves what Casey has done. But Cindy...Cindy Anthony will never, ever admit or accept that Casey harmed Caylee. Even after she's convicted. Not only would that mean she'd have to face all the pain of this horribly tragic hell Casey has relegated her to...but, frankly, she'd see it as a reflection on her, and she is the type that just can't have that, IMO.

I can just about guarantee that she will go to her grave swearing that Casey is innocent. Other than Caylee, Cindy is gonna be the biggest casualty of Casey...for all the rest of her life. What are your thoughts in that regard?

The defense wants the DNA evidence. Doesn't the prosecution get the evidence that the defense has, also? Do they finally get to hear the "compelling" story - or maybe see the picture that was taken in the park... or whatever?

The photos that were discussed on the Today show ... they did not tell the whole truth. While some of the photos released were prior to June 16th, the truth is that the famous "blue dress" photos were taken on June 20th only four days after the last time anyone on the planet has seen Caylee. Only 4 days....

According the the interview by Jamie R. (page 7), the photos of KC in the blue dress are from the "Grand Re-Opening" on May 23rd. I don't know if we've heard different from another source, I just remembered seeing this in the interview.

its not unfounded so far no one knows and LE is investigating it .. but they can take peoples posts and sue them for defamation of character on here for making the accusations IF they are found indeed not guilty of it .and WS will comply and hand the posts over to any LE taking care of this matter . said that in a post i cant remember what thread tho

I don't understand how they're impeding the investigation. True, CA refused to cooperate with TES, but how are they impeding LE's investigation? GA was truthful (in my opinion) in his interview with LE. Even telling them "I'll be straight with you, I don't like the smell in the car". I'm willing to bet he was honest in his GJ testimony, too. Refusing a lie detector isn't impeding. They gave DNA voluntarily. Only LA refused. And let's not go into that, okay. I don't for one second even entertain the "he's the father" idea. Are LA and CA trying to give LE a harder time? Maybe. But I don't think GA is and I think it's unfair to say they're necessarily impeding the investigation. The only thing LE cannot force them to do is give a lie detector. And that's not really that big of a deal.

I think you really have to go back to the beginning to get a clearer understanding of how one could arrive at that. That would involve a lot of reading, I'm afraid.

This was over my post talking about Natalie's family's good financial position when Natalee went missing and how they did not take money from donations to pay their house payments.

If someone took that to mean anyone else did, then they misread the post.
That is not liable or defamation of character, but upholding Natalie's family's good character.

i understand that .. im just pretty much saying what did on another post . just basically yes we need to watch what we say and how we say it on here reguarding that matter . (because of how the A's appear to be . there is no telling what they may try to get away with ..)

What an awful tragedy to have to try and live through. I can't even imagine. But, the disgust and quite possibly the hatred that is being thrust upon these 2 individuals isn't completely unwarranted. I have gone over and over again the material on WS from the beginning of this ordeal henceforth and I believe the A's have been given more than enough respect and benefits of the doubt in this case. CA, with her increasingly bizarre behavior, denials of facts, and harboring the one person on the planet who can give her the answers she's so desperately searching for is what has lead me and from my reading, others to despise this woman.

Your story hits alot closer to home because you were your baby's mama, CA isn't. Grandparents love their babies but it ain't the same thing. She didn't carry Cayl's and give birth to her. It's as if she's providing all of the emotion KC should be exhibiting, for her. CA is a really unlikeable character.

Don't sell grandparents short. As a grandmother, I have my own emotions.
I have 9 with 4 living in the same yard and I can tell you I am emotionally connected. Remember, grandmothers were first moms. Some of us care for these children as much as the parents with lots of them working or going to school. We stop by every day to see our grandchildren and they come over a lot. Please let Cindy grieve in the only way she knows how and try to remember that she is hurting. No one can tell anyone else how to do that and no one can know how or why some of us do things differently. Pride comes before the fall. Be carefull not to think you can handle things any differently. It opens you up to the challenge and I would not wish that on anyone. Give mercy and you'll get mercy when your time comes.

I so agree with you. I don't know how anyone would assume otherwise. This a non-issue if you ask me. There's no correlation IMO.

I think you should repost this in the thread about whether or not G or C should be prosecuted and then we could keep adding to it. I haven't read that thread yet but since I'm stuck on the couch today, I'm sure I'll get to it today.
