Cindy lost it again today?

I have thought about this - The courts need to step in here. Cindy and George swear the child is alive. Going on their assumption then the court needs to appoint a Guardian ad Litem for Caylee.

They have NO LEGAL rights to Caylee, so they legally cannot speak for her in anyway.

I am writing the DA and ask they appoint a Guardian ad Litem for Caylee. A legal guardian is a person who has the legal authority (and the corresponding duty) to care for the personal and property interests of another person, called a ward. Usually, a person has the status of guardian because the ward is incapable of caring for his or her own interests due to infancy, incapacity, or disability.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this. If the DA attempts to take such action, the A's wouldn't have a legal basis for challenging it, since they are not her parent(s) and they're so certain she's alive but you know they'll try to thwart any such attempts, because THEN THEY COULDN'T CONTROL ANY OF THE INCOMINGMONEY - THE GUARDIAN AD LITEM WOULD!!! Would be ironic, would it, that the very thing they've been screaming every day will be what prevents them from profiting?

FYI: You can't have it both ways, Cindy and George - she's either gone, and you daughter did it, or she's not, and you can't access the monies coming in that rightfully would belong to Caylee, were she still alive.

IMO, she knows or feels that this search is getting CLOSE! To think your grand daughter is in a swamp .....................

And imagine what kind of lowlife vile creatures would prefer her
staying in the swamp. And yet they profess the innocence of the
thing that put her there. Disgusting family!!

CA lost it a long time ago. Long before any of this happened.

MOO

I think there is a major confusion between the terms Guardian ad Litem and Guardianship. They are nothing alike.

Guardians ad Litem are appointed by a Judge to work on behalf of the best interests of a child. Guardians ad Litem do not control children's monies. Guardians ad Litem do not have custody of children. Guardians ad Litem do nothing except make investigate and make recommendations to the Judge regarding the best interests of children. Sadly, dead children do not have best interests, so there will not be a GaL appointed in this case. There is nothing a Guardian can do.

Someone taking over Guardianship is another matter altogether, and has rights and responsibilities on behalf of the child. They can petition the Court over matters such as custody and property. I doubt one will be appointed in this case, since there is no real property of concern, and since custody is not an issue, as the State's opinion is that this child is deceased, but I suppose one could be, speaking from a purely legal standpoint.

But any way you look at it, a Guardian ad Litem will NOT be appointed. Nor should one be.

Yeah, I get what you mean, she is really getting out of control! Looks like she found some friends though- did you see those women she was with? Wouldn't it be nice if one of those people cared enough about her to stop her?

Yes, I suppose it's battery or assault or whatever but they don't lock people up against their will simply because they are combative. It isn't easy to have people commited anymore.

Nope, but they could've been "going through the process" for a day or so, which would have kept her out of the memorial service... Just a saying... :)

ITA It isn't important what CA's wearing, it's all about control. Even her outrage at a memorial appears to have more to do with having lost control. If rage doesn't work, there are other emotions in her repertoire. But this is somebody who at all costs must find a way of regaining control. It's beyond anything I've seen either. JMO

Cindy scares me.

Are you a FL attorney? In my state, we call it a guardian ad litem (or tutor/tutrix.)
Anyway, the point of my post was not the liklihood of success in such a filing, but, rather, as the title infers, how the Anthony family would respond, seeing as we're in the "Cindy lost it again thread" . (I wasn't attempting to get into a legal discussion.)
What do you think about that?

She couldn't control the search (she tried to stop it for 3 hours using legal means and failed) so she wigged out again...end of story...there was FBI clearance to perform the search - her attorney(s)? couldn't stop it. My question:

Why did she want to stop the search here but not anywhere else???

She doesn't want the body found.

She makes me SICK knowing she'd prefer Caylee to be left out there, thrown away like trash, never to be buried and laid to rest. And for WHAT??! To protect that waste of a murdering daughter of hers?? Or to keep the "missing" child donations rolling in? What exactly is this evil woman's motive?

I think she enjoys the money and being a STAR

It is an excellent question, Cocoamom. One we have all been asking ourselves the past 24 hours.

Why go to all the legal posturing for this one in particular?

LP has searched other places. TES obviously has as well. Still, this particular area they held a staunch objection to searching with divers. If they were not concerned about finding Caylee or evidence, they would not have said a word or bothered with the lawyers, imo.

LP's comment about "SPITE" makes it pretty easy to understand why the Anthonys would pick up that gauntlet he threw down.

They must feel personally betrayed since LP used to be on 'their side' & is now so publicly ANTI-DEFENSE?!

We can assume Tim & the Anthonys came to some sort of truce... a "you leave me alone & I'll leave you alone type of deal" because Tim went out of his way to ask people to concentrate only on Caylee & leave the Anthonys out of the search efforts.

Betcha dollar to donuts that LE is also looking into this very deep and carefully. KC may not crack but CA surely will.

and why havent they said a word about the rumoresd of lee being the father ? They shout about everything else and are strangly quiet on this one.

I wish it were legal to administer a vial of truth serum to someone arrested for murder.

See that would be a little to easy on her..IMO. I wish a lot of things were legal, most a tad bit more painful LOL. Awful yes, but it's how I feel about her and her antics.

If this were to happen, it would be the best thing that could happen for Caylee. LE has Caylee's DNA, so if that young man were to come forward and give his DNA, and if it were confirmed that he was in fact Caylee's biological father, that could take the wind out of CA's sails. He would have a say, and as a parent, he trumps a grandparent.
I don't think there is a young man in Florida who would WANT to admit that he slept with KC. It would leave him so open to ridicule. On the other hand, I'd love to see some guy come forward and sue KC and the rest of the clan for wrongful death of his daughter.

I 100% agree. Controll is the only goal.

yup - and after her "performance" yesterday, she even got her way with the "Memorial" being changed to a "Prayer Meeting." Lord forbid anyone should think Caylee is not still alive. Reminds me of The Emperor Has No Clothes (children's book.) We must all back her up on this or she will pitch another fit. We must avoid that at all costs.

  • #420
I mean, I realize this family is under major stress, and they have acted strangely at every turn of events, but this thing today made no sense at all. What were they doing there?

Read a few posts back. CA did not want a "Memorial" service. She pitched a major fit and got her way again. It's all about controlling her environment. She is unbelievable.
