Cindy Says "George In Shock" on Today Show 11/26/08

  • #61
Not to defend CA or anything but that FBI interview WAS 15 (actually 16) days after they found out about Caylee. The interview was on July 31st with GA and July 30th with CA.

Having said that it makes it sound worse for them, I'm "absolutely" positive GA had more of a handle on the smell then than he does even now. I'd trust that interview over one done, say, today.

Can't recall which thread had the info of CA saying KC borrowed a hair straitener from Zanny and that she had an air mattress for Caylee to sleep on at Zanny's. So Cindy still believes there is a Zanny? Is that the Zanny that has a sister named Samantha with three kids who took Caylee from Blanchard Park?

I don't know about the rest of you but it seems when I filled out the last census report I had to list the names, ages and ethnicity of everyone living in my house. If there was such a Zenaida and Samantha wouldn't that info be in census records somewhere? School records? I don't think there ever was a ZFG but has CA thought about this... that if the Zanny KC talked about existed she would be findable.

I expect when LE gets credit card statements or receipt of what was purchased with stolen checks a hair straightener will be on there.

Yeah, when all else fails use the *shock* excuse. I swear, GA should ask for immunity right now and spill the beans.

I didn't see shock at all, he was telling the truth.
But to CA and everyone elese he sings to a different tune.
I am sure they are hurting , but it is time for them to stop the spin, and releasing phony Caylee pictures to media.
Precious Caylee is decessed:'( at the hands of her monster mother.
CA just can't wrap her mind around that so she has to discount everyones statements of truth or her fanstay world will come crashing down.
When they find KC guilty for 1sr degree murder she is gonna lose it like we have never seen before. I hope she doesn't have a hammer in her purse.
Opps forgot to add something even when LE were looking for alive Caylee adn following tips she was still bashing them, so they are darned if the do adn dared if they don't

I don't know about NOT following up on a tip or lead, but Cindy DID say all LE had to do was fax PERMISSION for the tip to be followed up by the other police department where the sighting took place. She further stated they REFUSED to do that.

I'm definitely no fan of the Anthony's, BUT there is no reason I can think of why LE wouldn't fax permission for someone else to do the investigating. Seems the least they can do.

I know from personal experience that this is a blatant lie. OCSD would have to ask LE where the child was seen for OC to investigate it. Police cannot go into other jurisdictions willy-nilly to look for anyone. That is why they have EXTRADITION orders. Of course, Cindy likes making up more lies to substantiate HER lies.

As for the pizza - I have worked in a pizza place. We tossed uneaten pizza in an open dumpster every day. Tempersatures where I worked were over 100 degrees on a daily basis and there were no maggots at all.

The other jurisdictions may have been wanting a request from OC that would lead to some sort of reimbursement from OC for spending hours and hours chasing down Cindy's wild leads. OC ain't going to give that now that they have filed murder charges, which they wouldn't have done if they believed there was a live child who could be found.

Obviously, Cindy was indeed "worried about that" enough to mention it to the 911 operator. She also told a reporter after the bond hearing that she and her husband are both familiar with the smell of decomposition due to their professions.

Claiming now that she's unconcerned about it would be laughable, if not for the fact that she -along with everyone else- knows precisely whose body was decomposing in the back of her daughter's car, and all the babbling in the world won't change that one bit.

Good point. Maggots were almost certainly from the dead body in the trunk.

MV is talking about GA smelling decomp. CA answers, paraphrasing here:

"Well, I don't know if any of us have smelled anything that has been piled up in a care in 100 degrees. Don't know if human decomp compares."

In the beginning of the case, didn't she say she and George were both familiar with human decomp? So wouldn't she know if it compares or not? :waitasec:

Wait a minute, surely The A's saw the local TV station (can't remember which one) that did the test of trash twice. The second time with 3 different pizza and the detergent and got barely any smell. The test also got no flies or maggots.

CA on today show still insisting Caylee is out there.

All I have to say is that once again I should learn NOT to turn on the tv before going to work. What kind of deal did the show make with the As? It was a pretty awful interview. IMO even MV seemed bored by it all. Sorry, if this has been addressed further along the thread, but I just got in from work and had to post!!

PS- He was in shock because he was HONEST about the smell? Meaning, he didn't KNOW what he was talking about? He didn't appear to be "out of it" to me, but then heck, Cindy always knows more than the general population.

The fallacy that Cindy is trying to propagate here is that George said something to the FBI two weeks after learning of his granddaughter's disappearance because he was "in shock".

He wasn't in shock when he smelled it, he wasn't in shock when he was driving that car home with his head stuck outside the window and his eyes watering, and he wasn't in shock when he related that information to LE.

Cindy wasn't in shock when she made the 911 call.

Lee wasn't in shock when he smelled the car that same night.

I think the only thing shocking here is that Meredith Viera actually called Cindy on it.

Trying to understand Cindy’s logic (better known as lies) is impossible. If we are to believe her then we would have to believe this…

Caylee was kidnapped and has possibly been sited many times in different cities/states. This means those cities/states have a kidnapped child and a kidnapper who could potentially harm more children. But, according to Cindy they can’t investigate a possible kidnapper in their own jurisdiction because OSCO didn’t give them permission. Huh???

If she truly believes this latest sighting was Caylee (which I don’t believe she does) why doesn’t she step away from the microphones and go to the mall, hand out flyers, talk to the store clerks, anything. Didn’t she say she was going to knock on every door until she finds Caylee?

Just an FYI that particular mall did have fliers posted there (as least of a couple of weeks ago) and yet only this one person thought there was a connection of that particular little girl connection????

That mall is also full of both national and international vacationers. Chances are that the little girl has returned home.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't interstate kidnappings investigated by the FBI?

Under what circumstances would those sightings fall under OSCO jurisdiction (let alone require its 'permission')?

And Simon B wasn't in shock at the towyard when he smelled it, neither was Yuri when he went to the house the next day and smelled "human decomposition".

I would like to thank the WSers that sent letters to the Today show in order for them to ask some hard hitting questions for a change!! You got Meredith to finally ask something of Cindy worthwhile instead of playing into the charade. Bravo!! If looks could kill...Meredith would be a goner.

Cindy stammering through the end of the piece was well worth waking up for today. Obviously, she wasn't expecting it and did have a difficult time coming up with an on the spot answer.

Kudos to the Today Show even if it means they won't get another interview out of the A fam. Maybe coming from Meredith, it will slow the train down...but don't count on it. They are running out of shows to appear on that are not willing to call them on their BS.

Ditto - kudos to those WSers that requested those questions, and to Meredith and the Today Show. It is high time to end the charade.

IMO CA is medicated to the hilt and needs to stay at home, cuddled up and warm and stay away from mic's and interviews. She is like a zombi and looks horrible . It might help if she kept her mouth shut except for eating and try to gain a few lb's. back on to her skeleton. The sad part is..she will probably only get worse until the trial time finally comes. Enough now Cindy.....

You know what they need? THey need a sit down interview where it would look bad if CA left, led by a real in your face reporter. I think someone actually getting in her face and screamiing at her just might break her at this point...or they could just arrest her already. THat would work too.

I am thinking she could not pull all this crap with Bill O'Reilly or Dr. Laura. Any others?
