Well that's just weird that that's the one that's missing. He wrote down the one for 6/30 and 7/1, but the one with the same date as when the car is abandoned is gone. We were talking about the JCPenney receipts on the rumor thread earlier. I'm going to see if I can find the info you posted and post it there. Thanks!

Of course, the first thing I thought of was that she could have put Caylee in one of these. The second thing I thought of was I believe Casey was getting ready to run, out of state if possible.

Casey tells Cindy that Caylee has died, accidentally. It may have taken a little while, but IMO I think Cindy may have decided to cover for Casey , who is HER baby after all, and her guilt feelings at not being there often enough...

IIRC, when LE was interviewing CA and mentioned that she wasn't cooperating with them (ie not giving them the JCP statements), CA mentioned that she gave them to LA to turn in. LE never received these statements, to the best of my recollection, so they did subpeona them....unless I was hearing things he said that they already had them.

I need to listen to that interview again....it's painful though, to me anyway.

If she did make a purchase on the 27th, wouldn't it be kind of late for luggage? I don't know that I buy into her having made an incriminating purchase that day but if she did, I think that she would be replacing something of Caylee's that went missing and needed to be there. For example, the car seat. I don't know if JCP sells these. The other thought...I read that JCP has a passport and visa dept. - maybe she made an application for a passport? Is that possible?

This is a wierd proposition but sometimes I get the idea that Cindy is responsible for Casey's death and that Casey agreed to take the rap for her.

Has a passport/visa dept? Do you mean they take the pics there? I'm certain they don't have the apps and accept them when you've filled them out. They do have a photo dept though, and do take passport/visa pics.

I'm hoping she bought outdoor gear.

Good thoughts. Who knows what was bought. I really want to know! (I also responded to your other post in the rumor thread.) I definitely think she bought something that wasn't quite right and/or can't be accounted for. There's a couple of things that back this up IMO: the JCP receipt for 6/27 was missing per Lee's interview and Cindy didn't want to give LE her JCP statment, because she had already check it out and there was nothing of importance on there. Uh huh Cindy. Sure.

This goes against all my instincts as a mom, but so does lying and for that matter killing my baby.

Protecting my kids was paramount when they were growing up, including protecting them from themselves and punishing them when necessary. If one of my kids told me this happened and didn't want to report it, I wouldn't be following through on anything they were taught. I couldn't do it. I would absolutely be there to hold their hand from day 1, starting with when my child made the call to 911.

I guess that means I'm not a psychopath; no matter what the neighbors say...~wink~wink~

BTW- all the moms that I know have felt guilty at times for one thing or another, we get over it!!

IIRC, from the "Time to drain the Anthony Pool" thread, LA was reportedly purchasing pool filter in the early stages of the case...anyone know if he purchased (replaced) chlorine too? Posters on that thread were commenting about the pool going green (which happens quicky in FL) which was readily understandable...not doing pool maint w/ missing child...still...lack 'o' chlorine would have....hmmmm:waitasec:

Or what if they had just added the pool shock to the pool and she drowned her in the pool...very high chlorine levels accounting for the high level of chloroform found in the trunk...
