Cindy's (draft?) email to Casey--computer forensics report

This almost seems like Cindy venting to me. I know that many times when I've been upset with someone, I've started to write an e-mail to them. After I write for a while I start to feel better and once I've finished, I wait until the next day to look it over again before sending it or deleting it. The way that it cuts off at the end makes me think this is what Cindy was doing, putting her thoughts into words and then waiting until the next day before sending. If this was writen on the 14th, which all you amazing people have pointed out is a strong possibility, then we know what happened on the 15th and that would explain was it was never sent.

Now, a question for all you computer buffs... Since this is a deleted message, is it possible that LE wasn't able to retreave the entire thing? Could there be more to it?

Good question. Yes.

When you delete a file the file is still there in pieces (clusters), they are just marked as available for reuse. Some of the pieces will get overwritten over time by new files. It seems to me that the beginning and end of this are missing and this is the part that was recovered.

I think it's a mistake to take CAs "over a month" at face value. She seems prone to emotion and exaggeration. "Over a month" could have actually been "a few weeks."

I agree. It sounds much more dramatic, more emotionally engaging. I think that is what CA was going for when she wrote it. I have someone I'm related to who also embellishes time lines if it suits her needs.

"Over a month".............no amount of calendar manipulation makes this statement work out between June 15 and July 15, since it is exactly a month.

Could there be a cover up on the Mt. Dora visit?

Cindy may of been exagerating. And remember at first CA said she hadn't seen Caylee since the 9th so she thought it had been longer.

I agree that exaggeration and dramatizing are part of Cindy's makeup.

I've also considered that, because the period of time overlapped from June until July, Cindy may have equated the "change" in months as an estimation of "over a month". Does that make sense?

FWIW, June 9th means nothing. It's been explained and discussed and the detectives talk about it being nothing in the interviews.

I've searched hither, thither, and yon and can't find the MySpace message or IM message Casey left someone around June 11 or 12. I clearly remember reading it and it said, "I haven't been home for 3 days." I remember thinking at the time that it placed her out of the family home since June 9.

I remember it so clearly and thought that this was the reason they used the 9th for the last date Cindy saw Caylee.

If anyone remembers this, please help me, since this could be a key issue. Did Casey take off from the 9th to the 15th, returned with Caylee that day and took off again the 15th or 16th depending on whose version of events one wants to believe.

If you count back from June 24th. You come to June 15th.

Text Troy about "Drama"Calendar: Caylee Anthony Casejennjenn 06-24-2008 *The times shown may change, depending on DST settings

Casey sends a facebook message to Troy at 12:40pm referencing Amy not moving into the (her parent's) house stating "Hell, in the last nine days I haven't even been living at the house. Drama. I'll fill you in later." (LE Troy Interview pg 12 line 7)

The notice you receive never tells you who it is from. You don't know who it is from until you go to the Post Office and sign for it. Once you sign, you get the letter that shows who it is from. But not before.

Mine, both personal and professional, always have ............... check out #2 on the PS form 3849, which is filled out & left at the residence.

Is it possible that the tow truck company (I'm sorry, I cannot remember the name off the top of my head) is technically called something else? Ex: Florida transportation Inc, but the name on the side of the truck is Florida Towing. Or if it not just a tow company but a garage also it may just have the name of the garage...ex: Mike's Auto....

"Am I ever going to see her again? "

WOW... there are no words for this particular quote. Just WOW.

Dad said he went to work at 9am and he got home at 630p, he said he did not come home in between. Makes me think that KC had a phone call between herself and CA in which KC claimed to have seen GA at the house.

I thought Universal already merged with them? Clearly shows that CA is very skeptical about where KC claimed to have worked.

Could the reference to GA's work schedule and the stmt "don't know what to believe", I ask the question, could this be in reference to the time GA claims to have "chased" KC on to the freeway? I think the epass thing showed different than his story.

just a thought

Exactly, I think Cindy wants to believe KC, so she wanted to believe she was working just like now she wants to believe she is innocent! CA just can not see the truth no matter how hard it hits her in the face.

I think CA sees the truth, she just can't accept it. She's lost Caylee, I don't think she truly cares if GA is around or not, and Lee has Mallory. If CA accepts the truth, she's lost everything and her own life falls apart before her very own eyes. I can't imagine what it has to do to CA's mind to let her brain accept that her own daughter was capable or killing her precious little child. Her heart won't let her accept what her mind knows is true. I can't ever imagine what this is doing to CA. It has to be the most horrible situation to be in.

The nearest text I can find this one,

June 24 2008 at 2:40pm Casey Anthony (Orlando, FL) wrote to troy on Facebook: she still has yet to move into the house. hell, in the past 9 days, i haven’t even been living at the house. DRAMMMMMA. i’ll fill ya in later on. miss ya, yo.

This puts her last living at home on the 15th.

Hmmm ..

Good catch ..

June 9th Casey & Caylee spent the night with Ricardo...she also spent the night with Ricardo on these nights
http://flawebhosting.net/docs092308/rm092308.pdf

May 29th
May 30th
June 7th
June 10th
July 1st

I think the 9th was significant because prior to that date she had spent most of her nights at home in the Anthony home. From June 9th forward I don't think she stayed at the Anthony home at all until the night of the 15th when the fight between her and Cindy took place...I'm not convinced though that she even stayed there on the 15th but she was within the ping range of the Anthony home.

Reading this thread, relative to the email drafted/sent on July 14 to KC, the day before they picked up KC's vehicle, but a day AFTER having found the delivery notice on their front door ........... brought forth a thought.

Anytime I have received a registered/certified mail notice, it has ALWAYS included the SENDER'S name (see PS form 3849, http://www.tpub.com/content/administration/14317/css/14317_151.htm) ........ surely they were curious regarding this notice, considering their daughter and g/daughter had been gone "for over a month!"

The A's claimed they were unable to go to PO on the 14th due to work, consequently, the letter was claimed on the 15th & we are all aware of what supposedly occurred thereafter.

My question is ......... why wouldn't they have noted the "sender's" name (a towing company) and, if nothing else, called them on the 14th to inquire about this registered letter - wouldn't you????

I'm sorry this is o/t, but my brain was just jogged - had to get it out!!

What I totally can't understand, why wouldn't this notice be put right in their mailbox with the rest of their mail? Also, if they got their mail opening the front door, the notice would have fallen and they would have noticed it. If they walked from the driveway to the mailbox, surely they would have seen it stuck in the door. I have not understood this from the very beginning.

Maybe KC wrote it, like when she faked thhose other e-mails ???

I did not think this thru yet, but putting it out there for others...

Hadn't thought about that. I was just feeling like KC had learned her technique from the Master. It is a possibility but I'd think KC would make herself sound less the villain and more mom of the year.

Cindy talks about Casey going to the family house to get the insurance papers in the interview with LE was on 1 Aug I believe but I could be wrong.

George mentioned this in the gas can incident story IIRC. Why on earth would KC have some nanny's insurance papers at her house in the first place? Supposedly Zanny had a sister and relatives and all kinds of people in the area. That on its face sounds ridiculous. I could never figure out why that wasn't a giant "red flag" to them both.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again..

It's not that the Anthony's think KC is "NOT GUILTY", it's that the Anthony's think THEY ARE GUILTY RIGHT ALONG WITH HER.

Nothing bonds a family like a guilty conscience;)

You are so right. But I guess we were hoping that group guilt wouldn't play out as combative denial and a fierce willingness to cast blame elsewhere.

I, too, could never understand that. My delivery notices from the USPS have ALWAYS been placed in my mail box. The only notices which are not, come from UPS or FedEx. They place these notices on the door - they cannot use USPS receptacles.

Another strange twist, but then, these folks are no strangers to STRANGE!!!

I just don't believe that they had not seen that notice the day it was delivered. I just can't figure out why they are trying to mislead everyone about it. It just makes me think they thought one of them could catch Casey at the house and ask her why her car would have been impounded. This had to put up red flags for both CA and GA I would think.
