The amazing thing about the raid on Peter Weygers was the fact they managed to get a warrant to search him apparently from the advice of a 'psychic'

If that is true then how is that even possible. It was after the year 2000 too when they did the search. You wouldn't expect to find anything after all those years so I am not sure what the Police and the 'psychic' expected to turn up in the search. Jewelry?

that is what I am trying to get at. Is it an urban myth that everyone inside and outside the conti except for mm had been identified. Where is this information because it is not detailed on the CIA doc. The only thing that refers to indentifying people is when Detective Stanbury answers the question posed to him by Leibmann that everyone in the particular footage they are viewing with MM on it and Stanbury says that everyone on the particular footage they are viewing at the time have been identified except for MM.

I think it is an urban myth that everyone, inside and outside were identified except for MM. Can someone please provide the proof if I am incorrect.

I haven't seen any proof except for what was said in the interview. Lots of misinformation out there. I was amazed to learn that the car/s description being released to the public was only recent news. Why would the police not release this (MM) footage, or the information about the Vehicles seen with 2 of the victims? Seems like a lot of bad Police work got in the way of the investigation unfortunately.

And I also find it very strange that given Kings Park is only a block from the cemetery why he did not use Kings Park. I then considered using the cemetery was a fear tactic to put his victim in absolute and total fear of her life, a control and dominating mechanism; that's what the choice of using the cemetery tells me. He let this victim go so she might have been compliant to what ever his 'instructions' were eg don't scream.

Interesting too is that Jane Rimmer's employer location (Nedlands Child Care Centre) was at 47 Carrington Street which is a street very close to the cemetery.

He may well have taken all victims to the cemetery.

That is a very good point. It could mean the cemetery was significant to the rapist/killer only,especially if the victim could not see anything.

Just my opinion Sutton, based on the fact that his pants seem a lot darker than the original MM..and tighter. The minutest glimpse of original MM's pants look lighter...the other thing is...he appears to be with friends and if you follow him, he appears to collect a jumper from that friend..I agree, he seems to interact with JR.
That's how I see it anyway.

What I find interesting though is the vision where Steve Leibman is speaking to Jim Stanbury at the 40 :52 mark, if you watch the computer in the background, there is vision of a group of people gathered in the disabled zone, but if you keep your eye on the top left, you'll see Jane Rimmer cross the road towards Gugeri street. Why weren't we shown that vision?

There seems to be some misunderstanding of the demographic.

Claremont and the surrounding areas are some of the most expensive areas in Australia serviced by six private schools which are among the most exclusive schools in the country. There is a tonne of old money there and with all that comes elitism and exclusive networks, as well as a certain level of class which brings fierce competition in all things including fashion.

The conti and club are very exclusive. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Patrons of these places don't where soccer kit or footy gear. This is not a pub in the suburbs with a broad range of people. These places attract clientele who are very similar and part of an upper class niche.

There's also not and has never been an abundance of surfer dudes cruising around in PVs. It's closer to Beverley Hills than Scarborough.

That guy is wearing standard issue western suburbs costume and it wouldnt be a soccer jersey. Its the Conti, not the Wheel and Harrow in Essex. Just wanted to clear that up.

Yep the Conti isn`t exactly The Flying Scud Pub in the UK. Surfers & pv`s may not go to the Conti but everyone else does. Sure you can pick the rich schoolies, but what I`m saying is a lot of workers (office) catch up for drinks there & wind down, There are a stack of more upmarket bars in the city than the Conti. It`s just the Conti is close to their home.

Here are a couple of thoughts I have on the Karrakatta rape.

The 17yo girl was quoted in a newspaper saying that she was 700 metres from Club Bayview near Rowe Park. I think this offender has met her inside Club Bayview and stalked her because he knew which direction she would use. It is likely he may have hidden in the small garden that is situated between Leura and Mary and waited until she was well past an area where he may have been witnessed. He has offered her a lift and she accepted. Once in the vehicle a blitz attack occurred, she was hooded (not blind folded, I think there is a difference) and restrained with some sort of tie and stripped of her clothing.

What was used as the 'hood' ?

We don't know if the victim was raped in the front of the vehicle, rear of the vehicle or on the ground.

When he took her to Karrakatta Cemetery area did he access the cemetery by the front gate because I always considered the cemetery could not be accessed by a vehicle all night; I do how ever believe there was pedestrian access. I can't recall if there were gates at the front in 1995. Could he have accessed the cemetery using one of the side roads ? Was there open public access to the Hollywood Reserve area in 1995 as it is very close to Monash Avenue where this victim fled to.

Here is my 'issue' with this guy being Mystery Man: Jane looks surprised to see MM in the original footage. That is at about one minute past midnight. Why would she be so surprised to see someone she just saw 3 minutes earlier? Even if she thought he was going home for the night, I think her expression indicates "Wow, what are you going here?!"

Sutton I don't think JR was acting surprised at all. Check out frame by frame the cctv footage timeline from 00.01.31 to 00.01.41. From 00.01.31 JR is standing at pole 3 facing north. she swings her head to look over her left should towards the exit door, but does not change her stance. she then looks north again but she changes her focus slightly and moves her head slightly to the right. Her expression changes as if she smiles. She then moves her head slightly to the left looking straight north towards Gugeri. She is focused on somebody and smiles again and a couple of seconds later MM appears 00.01.41. It's my opinion that if MM1 is indeed MM, and the interaction JR had with MM1 and him checking his watch at that time, that he has said something like, give me a couple of minutes to go get my car. He has then turned up as MM and the interaction there is about him making an excuse for not getting back with his vehicle in the couple of minutes. He then goes to pick up his vehicle and collects her.

Jane was 167cms tall so I believe MM and MM1 are about 6 foot tall.

I don't consider the hairline could be described as 'receding'; could however be described as 'high forehead'.
