Wonder if someone spotted the car parked outside? Or perhaps one of the workers at the barbershop noticed suspicious injuries (IIRC LE said that the suspect may have been injured in the attack)?

Assuming his name and age are correct, I'm struggling to find anyone precisely matching his details when I search for him.

I think I heard the LE woman at the PC say he had recently moved to the area from Oklahoma

Dang she said the podcast hurt the investigation. It's a shame really. I get that people want info, but some things are too much too soon and when LE doesn't have a chance to do the initial leg work, it can get in the way.

It's a new era and LE has to develop ways to deal with the public interest in true crime. Arkansas handled it well, imo. I'm sure it has to be so frustrating to them.

I would think even janitors are vetted to not have any violet crimes in their past and certainly no child related crimes. I was sure he must have had some criminal history, but maybe he did not, or it was minor things that wouldn't prevent him from working at a school.

Yes, that hiring team at the school needs to reassess their process. It's very upsetting he was in a school.

The information was confirmed to JRN Wednesday evening by sources who were not authorized to comment publicly. Information suggested the suspect, believed to be a 28-year-old male, was identified through vehicle records and description as well as DNA evidence.
