“During the pre trial hearing on Friday, the judge granted the following motions from McGann's lawyers:
  • release of incarceration records
  • release of records no charge
  • disclosure of digital files
  • require investigative officers to retain rough notes
The death penalty is still being pursued in the case and there will likely be multiple years of hearings before the trial begins, according to prosecuting attorney Brandon Carter.”

Wow, has AM gained weight. It makes his previous mug shot look like he was gaunt and under nourished, shockingly so.

He also continues to have that flat affect, IMO. Here is a screen shot from that MSM video you shared, @Xlady.

My gosh his facial expressions are horrible!! I wouldn’t be surprised if he was using some pretty heavy drugs when the murders were committed. Maybe even meth?

Exactly. When I first saw the 'before' and 'after' images of AM I thought, METH.

That actually fits my presumption there will be some mental health component to this criminal case, e.g. substance abuse, alcoholism, or untreated schizophrenia, which as I shared ^^^^, can cause disregulation of self care, like eating.

IMO.

“…Carter said in a case like this, it typically takes about two years from when the crime happens until it actually goes to trial. Therefore, the trial would likely start sometime around the summer of 2027.

The news coverage of this case is a source of contention for some.

Right now, Carter is running for an Arkansas Court of Appeals position. His opponent in the race is Judge Sarah Capp. She's a state district court judge in Johnson and Franklin counties.

Capp said she takes issue with Carter publicly talking about the case.

"And, it impacts the justice system," Capp said. "It impacts the jury pool. And, it impacts due process."

Capp went on to say she believes the high-profile murder case is being politicized…”
