was it even an option for her to get her GED in jail? wasn't she in a county jail, not prison? do they even have that option in the particular jail she was in? i've never been to jail, i don't know

I did a little online research and I'm reading that you can get your GED in jail or in prison. KC chose not to.

Even so, he didn't even need to say it if he didn't want too. He could of just ended the statement with 'he wasn't being vindictive'.

I would too, but seemingly everyone in charge (DOC, judge, LE) seem to think they are credible because they keep on referencing it.

Then if they are credible, why aren't people being arrested? Are they even investigating these death threats? I mean if they're legit and all? It just appears that they are taking the defense team at their word.

This article also says the fee to take the test is $75.

From what I can see, she has yet to get her drivers license.

I would imagine that first she might take a class to pass the GED or equivalent? I do imagine she is eligible for financial aid, unless somehow the IRS bill has any effect on that. It is possible (happens all of the time) for students to live off of financial aid (grants/loans) alone. I would imagine that both DOC and the federal government would need to keep tabs on her "attendance" during her online studies.

it'll be her lawyers paying, the As paying, the OH money paying, or possibly a loan - student loans never die, even with bankruptcy, so they're happy to throw em out to everyone. of course if she doesnt get good grades, she wont get more.

she wont get federal grants, I believe, as she has no dependants anymore.

Baez was on Geraldo (not that JHP watches, but someone should have mentioned it), showing off the picture of Casey wandering around Ohio all on her own - unfortunately no one was smacking her around....no one approaching her....she didn't look the least bit afraid for her life.

Yup. It's society that needs and deserves protection from persons who (A) have no respect for others and (B) the consequences for violating laws intended to protect the property and rights of others.

Second, IMO at her core, FCA has no identity of her own. She can hide behind the personality she adopts (mimics) of people she is around but that will not shield her forever. The mask will come off.

So, if the taxpayers of Florida are paying her college tuition, don't they have the right to know that? If they are paying college tuition for anyone on probation for that matter!!

Looks like the DOC and lawyers and judges in Florida are in awe of the offender. All of her dreams are coming true. Slavish adulation and oh so popular!!
