Wow. I think Juan finally calmed down and drove it home. I really don't know how her defense attorneys are going to top that. I was lost at the beginning of his closing but towards the end when he went through each count and how it applied, I don't know how the jury could come up with anything but first degree murder. I myself don't agree with the death penalty--it is not up to us to murder anyone, but I think society needs Jodi off the streets forever.

Someone mentioned this earlier and I thought it was a good idea but didn't reply. Ya know, it's still a good idea.

Ugh, I think JM bungled the explanation for how JA committed felony murder. I don't think the stabbing itself can be the felony, can it? Doesn't the felony have to be another felony other than the murder itself?

Sounded like he was saying when Jodi reached for a gun that wasn't hers that made it burglary and that made it felony murder.

Felonies are also stealing the gun if they assume her version is true because it happened during a killing, and also remaining in the house during the stabbing, if I understood Juan correctly.

He has been a prosecutor for about 30 yrs, so I bet he understands the charges that HE is prosecuting, better than we do. Just saying...:angel:
