So is he claiming she had taken the plate off before driving to Travis' house? I always thought she purposely placed it upside down before getting to his house to avoid detection.

My theory is that she took both plates off (to look like a new car) when she parked near his house. Afterwards, she stopped at some point, possibly after dark, to put the plate back on, and screwed up, hanging it upside down.

Which would mean she had a screwdriver in her possession. More premeditation.

Beth Karas said on WS radio that after the trial is over these will be unsealed .. do we know that for sure? As in how do we get a hold of them and the sidebars if that happens? If it costs money I think we should all chip in a little and get them up here .. would be VERY interested to see what went on, in particular with ALV.

I will say that I was definitely surprised at just how all out blatantly Juan was allowed to call ALV a liar.. I mean there was no alluding to, or implying that LaViolette's testimony was questionable .. nope, it was just very blatant stating as fact that LaViolette, just as Jodi, both were not just LIARS, but that BOTH had looked each and every one of those jurors in their face and LIED!

I was laughing my off when he said that ALV had left the fact off that she was a LIAR on her CV!!... bwaaaahahahaha!...that was adding hilarious and I know that Alyce was without doubt watching this closing argument LIVE and was hearing those very, very, very damning words spoken by this extremely reputable Prosecutor...and IMO she damn well knows those damning words are literally marking the end of the road for her as not just an expert witness, but as in any role whatsoever in her profession IS OVER!

JMO but that is exactly what you get when making a choice to lie and act in such an unethical manner...it is merely the consequence of her direct action in choosing to blatantly lie, deceive, and cohort with a cold blooded, remorseless murderer!

I cannot wait til after the trial is over and hopefully we learn what all has transpired wrt ALV and IMO her being exposed as being dishonest and deceitful for this defense.

She deserved it. After what she did to Samantha, in the words of our own KatieCoolLAdy, F her and the horse she rode in on!!!

As I said I unfortunately have only been able to see the second half of Juan's closing arguments, but one of the biggest BOO-YA moments that I didn't see coming was his using Jodi Arias very own words..and not just words in a text or in a taped video, but actually her very own words under oath, on the stand, while giving testimony..her very own words spoken about the finger..

During her testimony when it was stated that her only injury sustained from the murder was her head being hit in the supposed body slam on the bathroom tile.. but Jodi Arias stated on the stand that was incorrect, that it wasn't just her banged head, BUT THAT SHE ALSO SUSTAINED THE INJURY TO HER FINGER DURING THR MURDER!!

BOO-YA!... I LITERALLY JUMPED OUTTA MY SEAT HOOPING AND HOLLERING OVER THAT LIL' GEM THAT JUAN PULLED OUT!..

As long as Juan is the last the jury hears I am fine with that.
As far as watching Nurmi, I will have HLN on and watch it when I am in the particular room the Tv is in. I am not sitting there all day and listen to him trash TA again.

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble, but my perception of JW has changed over the course of the trial. At first I sort of liked her--she seemed friendly and warm and charming (to me, i know ymmv). But as the case went on my impression of her changed. Now I find it very difficult to watch her.

I was blown away by the closing and Jaun laid out everything so beautiful. I liked how he pointed out no matter it was felony murder and explained the charges so their should be no doubt. Any way you look at it, its 1st degree murder. My heart broke for TA's family. I feel pretty good the jurors will come back with 1st degree murder. And at the end when JM wrapped up the look on JW face was priceless.

That stuck with me more than anything. How priceless people think a human's life is worth. My Bro was murdered over 19 inches of land. So sad. Now he and Travis are having the last laughs. God is good!

Trying to sympathize with Jodi's family. But after Juan's closing today, if any of them has one shred of deceny, they will remove the domestic violence ribbons they have been sporting around. Everyone now knows for sure she was not the victim and everyone knows for sure that ALV's testimony was impeached today. I am sick of it!

JA's only regret is the brutality and the finger prints. I truly believe she never thinks I wish I never killed Travis, she only thinks, should have just shot him and made sure no print.

I think she loved every pain she knew she inflicted upon Travis.
