Remember our pal Gus Sercy and his attempt to claim the 5th when ordered to reveal who was supposedly in his car? I'd love to hear how that played out.

Watching again and noticing all the allusions, similes & metaphors JM used:

- Rainbow/over the rainbow imagery
- EBB quote "How do I love thee? Let me count the lies."
- Marriage allusion: "She said it, she's wedded to it."
- Wildebeest herd reference
- Smell of gasoline on your hands/MacBeth allusion

I'm sure there were more. I'm even more sure that the man is a genius. And a :hero:

Beth Karas said on WS radio that after the trial is over these will be unsealed .. do we know that for sure? As in how do we get a hold of them and the sidebars if that happens? If it costs money I think we should all chip in a little and get them up here .. would be VERY interested to see what went on, in particular with ALV.

I thought this was only after appeal?

Juan nailed it home for me when he basically said she has non-stop lied, and carried on with Ryan after brutality killing Travis.

The premeditation beyond a reasonable doubt is the gas cans and now the CD's.

The prosecutor's point about Jodi bringing the CDs for Travis to see shows premeditation was fantastic! I am confused about one thing, however: He mentioned after the killing, JA screwed the license plate on upside down because it's less likely to get caught that way than without a plate. Huh? I'm confused about his point. Can someone clarify? TIA

I am going to watch tomorrow....as part of the process...part of the cogs in the wheel of justice...to support Travis's family in some small way ...and to be able to have a complete picture.....my mind....is,and has been, made up on the murderess's guilt long ago (as I hope, and believe the jury's is).....when I watch I will relish in the fact that Juan has already won....

But even after the defense's closing, Juan gets the last word. So I believe that will be Monday.

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble, but my perception of JW has changed over the course of the trial. At first I sort of liked her--she seemed friendly and warm and charming (to me, i know ymmv). But as the case went on my impression of her changed. Now I find it very difficult to watch her.

I agree with everything up to your last statement. I find her highly entertaining to watch. The way she stomps her way to sidebar, the way she tries to be snarky but just sounds like a petulant child, the way she can't take no for an answer and has to approach whenever she doesn't get her way...I find it all incredibly amusing because she's so predictable.

I really enjoyed when he reminded the juror's that JA actually told them that she'd injured both her head and her finger while murdering TA. I will never forget that little bit of testimony. She totally f'd up and then everything continued as though nothing had happened. She backtracked big time and the DT completely ignored it going forward. I'd love to see that again!

If I were him I wouldn't be feeling well either. But I do question if he's sick at all. So does Mr Pizza, he says it's just a preemptive excuse for the lack of delivery tomorrow compared to today.

Well Nurmi can get over it. NO juror has called in the entire trial. So JA can get a migraine, JW can have a panic attack and KN can have tummy trouble. Good Luck DT, JA leaves nothing but Death and Destruction in her wake. You're on the losing side. Tee hee.:rockon:

You'd probably be ok just signing up for CNN text alerts. There'll be plenty of notice when the jury signals they have a verdict, because all the players including JA have to get to the court room, and given the TV coverage, time to allow the networks to set up. I would be very very surprised if we didn't have 1 or 2 hours notices before it's read.
