Did anyone catch the part in his closing when Jaun is talking about when Jodi leaves Travis' house and she is driving in the desert and then she stops and fills up her car with the gas cans? And then Juan says something like, if you're in a fog how could you even do something like that, especially when you've testified that you had never done it before?" and then Nurmi objects with "judge, not in evidence" or something like that. I don't remember Jodi ever testifying that she had never filled up a car using a gas can before...but I DO REMEMBER Jodi saying she had never killed anyone before. Soooo...this got me thinking could there be something behind the scenes that we don't know about??? Didn't someone say Bobby Juarez committed suicide...do you think Juan thinks Jodi killed him?? I am probably reading into it...but I honestly don't ever remember Jodi being asked if she had ever filled up a car before with a gas can or her saying no?
Ideas anyone??

Jodi did tell DD that she saw blood on her hands and "knew she had killed Travis, done something horrible" but there were no bloody handprints on the washing machine or bleach bottle.

Man I need to listen to Juan's closing argument again, there were so many bombshells, I think I missed a couple.

The absence of blood outside the master suite (and more specifically the bathroom and hallway) just obliterates her fog claim from start to finish. Juan drove that point home beautifully today.

JA said she rented from the rental company 90 minutes away from her home because that was where Priceline would give her the best price. Priceline is an online travel planning/competitive price company.

When you buy through Priceline you are billed by Priceline. Then they pay their agreed upon amount to the hotel, car rental place or hotel.

Her bank statement showed she was billed by Budget, meaning the whole excuse of going to Redding for car rental was a lie. She purchased the rental from Budget directly, not through Priceline.

Also, she DID book her airplane ticket to the memorial service through Priceline and a few items down from the car rental from Budget it shows she was billed by PRICELINE AIR for her airplane ticket - proving how it would show if the car rental was through Priceline.

Can someone explain the significance of the Budget rental car and priceline plane flight on the bank statement... JM: "Budget needs to get their money upfront"? I didn't understand that.

JA said she used Priceline to get her car rental in Redding. My experience with Priceline, Travelocity, etc, is you make your reservation with them, giving that particular site your info and credit card info. Anytime I've made a reservation, it has been paid in full ON LINE at the time of the reservation.
Sooooo........did JA use Priceline? Or did she just "walk in" to Budget so there wasn't a paper, computer, or credit card trail and avoid renting from either of the 2 rental places in Yreka?

He shot himself in the head, and was found collapsed against the side of the family home almost immediately, someone heard the shot...IIRC, he died in the hospital.

Yes 1 week later he was taken off life support.

No, I know there is a lot of discussion of whether or not the sex happened and whether he was being held at gunpoint in the shower. First of all, I don't think it would be possible for her to have held him at gunpoint for so long...he would have overpowered her or somehow done something to get away- that is PRECISELY what she was afraid of which is why she eventually did it when he was surrounded and defenseless in the shower. Second, we have the timestamped photos and, as Juan always says about things, we can't somehow go beyond and infer some other thing that we don't see any evidence of in the pics. Third, as far as the shower pics it is very clear to me that he's posing in all of them, even the face shot. In the face shot, I don't see any fear I just see him trying to make his face look exactly like the "Calvin Klein" thing she wanted. That's what I see. He did not know any of it was coming, and that's EXACTLY what she wanted.

What I think is weird is that for some sculpted body shots, she didn't ask to see his full frontal chest or photograph anything about his arm definition or thigh definition. Those pictures show me that she's either not a good photographer or she was too preoccupied with the anticipation of the murder to take decent pictures. I have to question if she showed him any of them because he would have been like, "What the hell kind of shots are these?" Her pictures aren't even 10% like this.

O/T My son's hair coming out is freaking me out. I don't know what to say to him, hell what can you say?! I am taking him to get a crew cut tomorrow and buying this hat...

My grandson is 11 now and my daughter has been giving him buzz cuts since he had enough hair to cut. My son-in-law shaves his head bald and he does not need to as he is not balding at all. It seems to be in fashion now. At least where they live. I would ask your son if he wants the beanie. Bald or nearly bald is nothing to be ashamed of. I would tell him that. The beanie might call more attention to him. Obviously, I don't know you or your son but I have 4 children (all grown now) and they did not like anything that made them "stand out".

I am so sorry your son is ill. I would be freaking out too. ((((HUGS)))

JM said that and I was like, duh, why didn't I think of that? Didn't think about no footprints in the bedroom or down the stairs either, but it was so obvious......I must have been in a "fog". She claims she had blood on her hands and her shoes were gone........

I thought her saying over, and over, and over, that Travis wanted the shower pictures because he thought he looked so great was just one more example of her making digs at him. I don't believe that bs for one second. She took every single opportunity to make him look bad. It's too much and way too obvious.

Jodi had murder on the mind. The photo shoot was simply a ruse to get Travis in the shower and vulnerable, so I don't think she cared all that much about the individual pictures AND she planned to delete them after she killed him. Probably gave Travis just enough "direction" on how to pose to make him think it was legit. You could be right--good chance he never saw any of the photos as she was taking them.
