Thank you, I can't fast along with the family due to my dizzy spells of late, but no way will I make the family sit through this alone. I'm there til the hammer comes down on the poison that is JA.

I can't fast either, but I will do whatever I can to give my support. Thanks for letting me realize that I could do something other than fast. i hadn't looked at it that way.

I missed the last of Juan after afternoon break (I had to work). Never did catch it. Few questions.

Did he talk the entire day?

Won't Nurmi take the whole day?

How will Juan have time to get the 2nd half of closing in if Nurmi uses the entire day?.

Also, did Juan use the "I would beg for the DP" line yesterday or will that be today?

Juan wrapped up with an hour to spare so they all went home early.

Considering they were also late starting yesterday, then Judge Sherry read the Jury Instructions handout aloud, I would guess there will be enough time for KN's drawl and for Juan to fight back. I do think he held back a few choice points for his final say today.

JM did talk all day (minus the jury instructions in the morning). According to Beth Karas he used up 3 hours 20 minutes of the total 5 hours. She sayseach side is given 5 hours.

Nurmi will take up most of the day. I hope JM will finish his closing today. He didn't use that line yesterday. We're hoping he does today.

I am a little frantic today as I must go to work at 1145 PST. Will have no access to the trial and won't get home till 11pm. Why did I schedule myself for work on the most important days after sitting through all this.... AGGGGGHH

Anyone have the good link, BTW. My history does it show it today as I turned off my laptop which erases it. No the WAT or AZ link. I think it starts with a K.

Is 9 am really the start time? I gotta shower now, if so...

When Juan get his 2nd turn after Nurmi, I hope he plays the segment of the "No jury will convict me" and brings out pictures of Travis in life and happiness, and then crime scene and autopsy photos of TA to leave a lasting imprint with the jury of the brutality of this crime.

I hope he also plays the part where Detective Flores says (paraphrasing) 'All I know is if Travis had never met you, he would still be alive' and Jodi replies (not paraphrasing) "That's true." He should end with that.

Exactly! I thought JA went into WAY too much detail over the youtube video TA was supposedly watching when she arrived at 4:00 am June 4 to be true- (she described people dancing with boxes on their heads, really silly, he thought it was so funny, I did not, blah blah blah)

Her details and over-explanation make me think only SHE was looking- trying to snoop what he had been doing on his own computer while he was in bed.

But she went too far with the details once again. Gave herself away for what a creepy stalker she is. I stood in the doorway for 30-45 seconds ... just watching him.

Your post reminded me of something else that Juan pointed out yesterday...JA's reactions in court and on the witness stand. He talked about her fake crying, smirking, etc. Another good move on his part to refresh their memories and also as a tip to watch her during closing arguments. Given what peeps here have seen, more than one juror has to have caught some of her reactions, which are truly bizarre given the phase of the trial and the gravity of the charges against her.

Just a side note here...I cannot bring myself to use this woman's name. The most I will do is use her initials. She repulses me beyond anything I have seen and I cannot dignify her with a name.

I agree, that was very smart on Juan's part!

What a Juanderful day it was yesterday! The Sword of Truth did fly from his fingertips and Fire of Justice came from his lips!

As much as I like coming here and reading comments and watching the trial with you all, I am thankful that HLN showed Juan commercial free yesterday. I stayed on my couch with the soft breeze coming through my windows as the truth was coming from him.

For those that are going to re-watch his closing, and looking for JA's many different faces during this closing, I could have sworn that I saw her do a very slight nodding of yes during something Juan said. I was like, did I just see that, and I completely lost all concentration of what Juan was saying, because I thought did I really just see that? It was during something very important ( well to me anyway). I will watch it again this weekend, but just thought I would mention it.

Wow!! Juan saying, he doesn't know, if she walked in on her own, If Travis let her in..we really don't know. I tend to believe, Of Course just my opinion..that she hid her car under the cover of darkness and did enter in, without knowledge of anyone, and she did her exit the same way. I'm even cornfused a bit about the photo's too. I'm wondering, off in the darkness of my mind, if she did not stage photo's from previous acts and took them with his camera ( I tend to want to believe this, instead of them actually doing the dirty deed). The "sex" photo's seem to be so dark and grainy I'm almost of the thought, still, those shower photo's, he didn't know she was there, until the very last ones.

$12.96 is the price of Premeditation, the whole damn thing was premeditated.
The story that Juan told, it all is so very clear to me. I had already made up my mind that she was guilty, but for him to paint it so very clear to the jury, was amazing.

I will listen to some of the DT today, as I will clean my office and have HLN on in the background, but for the defense to play on the "preverted sexual acts" and abuse for the jury and pounding it over and over and using lies of some of their witnesses, will just nail the coffin shut for JA. They are going to say that Dr. Horn was so very wrong and attack his knowledge. It won't work in my opinion.

I was thankful that Juan did not go into all different directions, because he will then be able to clean up any doubts that the DT might try to spew into the minds of the Jury.

Last thing I have is, JUSTICE FOR TRAVIS IS HERE.

As it turned out, ALV was an advocate, not an evaluator, which is probably why she didn't turn in a report. JA was her 'client' and the AZ taxpayers paid a bloody fortune for this man-hating 'expert' to denigrate the true 'victim of abuse' and 'edify' her throat-slashing client with her lies. Nothing less than scandalous!

Juan made it clear to the jury that they can disregard any or all testimony if they feel that witness is lying. JA would not have had a defense without ALV and Dr. Samuels, who moulded her battered woman/PTSD testabaloney.

Juan went as far as he could go by repeatedly calling ALV a liar; her testimony should have been thrown out, IMO.

The DT played a game of 'liar's poker' - the jury gets it!

They can ask to review any portion of the testimony but are not given the entire transcript to review at once.

This is something I keep thinking about, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to express myself right.
I personally believe that Jodi Arias truly believed that she could act so sweet and innocent that she could pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. I think that even going into this trial she still believes that she is going to convince the jury she is demure, virtuous, and far too sweet to intentionally do anything like what she actually did.
This isn’t working. The personality she’s trying to display comes across with a knock-off quality. She is a cubic-zirconia. She looks nice and she is going through all the motions of being a sweet, virtuous, and kind woman. However, much like a cubic zirconia falls flat and dull when compared alongside an authentic diamond; Jodi’s attempt at portraying herself as a good woman dulls when compared alongside the true gems of women who we have seen throughout this trial. Travis’s sisters, Dr. Demarte, Deanna, and Lisa are the diamonds. Jodi’s counter-fit personality can’t shine because the shine from such intelligent, strong, successful and genuinely beautiful women overshadow what Jodi’s offering.

I just vant to give you another example of JM's greatness:

Yesterday during JM's closing, my son came home from university for the summer--he's in grad school in Montreal (sorry, gotta boast--I'm a mum). Ve hadn't seen each other since Christmas and vere laughing and hugging. He then glanced at the tv and asked vho the eloquent man is. I explained the facts of the trial and together ve spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the sofa in near silence vatching JM. Only at the finish did ve really talk to each other, catching up, etc.
